While there was a missed step for a part to install, the team there helped me locate the missing part and quickly and effectively installed the hitch and had the van trailer reserved ready to go! At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. So when the movers came I had bought them some bottles of water each and had a $20 bill for each for an extra lunch tip. I had NO IDEA they worked for tips until later. I was SO ASHAMED that NONE of the $990 cost for 4 mile move was NOT being shared directly with them. I thought the bonus was the sign of a great company caring for their people. It was a blatant lie. He rushed through the phone call, failed to gather basic and necessary information, and quoted my clients $1,500, which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. When the movers actually showed up, the price magically jumped to $2,300 -- and even after paying that inflated amount, they still didn't move everything. My clients were forced to rent a U-Haul themselves just to finish the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent. At pickup, the movers couldn't even give a rough estimate of when the items would be delivered. My clients' belongings were left in limbo for days, and it took countless phone calls just to get a vague update on where their items were and when they might arrive. This level of disorganization is shocking for a company that claims to be professional. On top of all that, Donnie personally put in writing that I would receive a referral fee. When I followed up to resolve the issue professionally, he completely dodged responsibility -- ignoring messages, blocking my calls, and refusing to communicate at all. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about his character and how this company operates. I ended up doing the unit longer and when I came out I was half expecting to maybe have some type of issue with maybe bugs or you know just regular stuff it was inside and air-conditioned but I figured there's gonna be some thing you know since it has been so many months. Everything was great for him as far as what I can tell if anything changes I will come back and update. This was one of the most positive experiences not only from calling around other places, but pricing, location and cleanliness.
