I do have…read morea lot of furniture and stuff but it took a crew of 6 guys close to 15 hours and they left quite a bit of my things because two trucks were full. I even completed the inventory online to receive my quote, over $6k. It was their error if the scheduler did not know that my inventory would not fit in the two trucks. All the men had positive attitudes, but a few were not as active as the others. I had a few items get broken, yet again, but the last time this happened it took months on end to get things fixed. I decided not to go through that again. As I stated earlier, between the sky high prices, lazy movers, unorganized schedulers and just total change of quality and care, I will not be calling them ever again.

They continued to load things onto the truck I had to threaten to call the police to get them to move. I had to wait for them to put up the ramps and close the doors. They then sat on the middle of the street blocking my path only delaying me further. When I spoke to the manager who was very rude he stated well they are moving now so I don't need to address it now. I can see by the attitude of the manager why their employees act with a complete lack of courtesy or respect.

Truly a nightmare experience…read more This was our fourth cross country move. We paid just over $15,000 after they estimated our load to be 10,500 lbs., but our load ended up being only 7,800 lbs. Obviously we understood our contract was binding and didn't contest any of this. Our belongings were loaded in June, then sat in a warehouse because the driver's truck broke down. After this delay, the driver crashed/flipped the semi truck on a highway on our delivery day, causing extensive damage to almost all of our belongings. Mayflower refused to give us any information on the crash. On our own, we found out the cause of the crash was driver fatigue and the contents spilled all over the highway. The driver had revoked operating authority and multiple violations this year alone. A&E/Mayflower continued to use him for their loads. The crashed trailer sat in a wrecking yard in the Texas summer heat for almost 3 weeks while Mayflower haggled with the tow yard to save a buck. We were left without our belongings living in our empty house with two little kids for 5 weeks before they were finally delivered (their original estimate was 7-10 days). It's been THREE MONTHS since the accident and almost 4 months since they loaded our belongings. We still haven't received any compensation for our damaged items or freight refund. The bill of lading requires they can't charge for items that were destroyed. Dealing with this has become a full time job. The catastrophic claims team at Mayflower has been nothing but robotic and unsympathetic. It's very clear their priority is trying to save the company money rather than doing the ethical thing and fixing the mess they've created by FLIPPING A SEMI TRUCK. We have two little kids and have been living with whatever was "salvageable" but is still in terrible condition. Our toddler has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor since June, we've been using our couch which has oil spills all over it, and our garage is full to the brim of our destroyed belongings. It's been a heartbreaking experience for our family. They have tried to send out an "inspector" to assess the damage three times now. The "inspector" is just someone from a local furniture repair company who obviously has vested interest. Of course they want the items to be "repairable" so they can get repair business and I'm sure Mayflower has a deal with them so that the "repair value" Mayflower offers you is far less than what the item would actually cost to repair. I don't know how anyone at Mayflower or Unigroup sleep at night. Unlike a large loss from a flood, hurricane, fire, etc., the worst part about our loss has been that this was all preventable if they had hired a responsible driver. For their own sake, I hope they never find themselves on the other side of the phone attempting to deal with their own colleagues.

Shout out to Christian, Anthony and Karson for a job well. (And $500 less than the ones that showed up day before , and said I still needed to pay an extra $100 for insurance. I sent them on their way. All Star's flat rate covered it all with no surprises.)

Had a VERY negative experience with all star moving…read more It started with pushy texts about booking. Walked through showing all the art on the walls to pack and confirmed the services. When the movers arrived, the youngest one didn't know how to pack art. (The primary bulk of our move) and a supervisor had to "teach" him. He then proceeded to pack my art in ways that likely damaged it. (See attached photos) I called the owner to let him know what was going on and before I could explain fully, he interrupted and said "I'm sending the guys back". I would've let him know they were still here and explained further what was happening. (Which was that I asked them to just start moving and would unpack the poorly packed boxes myself, after sending him photos) When Matt arrived he asked to see the boxes. I told him I already started unpacking them. He said "well how am I supposed to know how bad it is?" I said "the photos I sent". I guess this is the point he thought I was trying not to pay for anything and attempted to cancel the job right there, claiming they were not a good fit, but not to worry, I wouldn't be charged. I said "I want to pay your team". He said "could've fooled me". He then proceeds to tell me he didn't remember about the art that was packing. (Why did we do a walk through then?) and that I don't know how to move. (No kidding, that's why I hired you), that HE supervises his staff, not me. (The only thing I asked his head guy to do was confirm if a box should look like that and he said no. That's when I called the owner.) This company is incredibly overpriced, lacks transparency, sends high school kids to pack boxes, and then blames the customer upon complaint. I insisted on paying, but they took an hour off my bill. (I believe this is fair financially as they were only here for 3) However, beware of this company and the tactics they use to pressure you to book, and the kids they send to do the work.

They were told not to unwrap anything and they spend an obscene amount of time doing that too. They gouged my walls, put holes in them, charged me almost $300 more than the quote (with a TON of waisted time) told me they'd get someone out to get the holes patched. No one ever reached out. When I contacted them a little while later they told me that I said I'd patch the holes, I didn't and have four witnesses to say so. When I tried to argue it there was the old "well you're out of luck" response companies give when they don't want to deal with someone and said the issue is closed because they sent a check for $50 so that I can patch the holes they made. This company is dishonest, disreputable, and dismissive. They will damage your property, lie about it, and overcharge you at the last minute. If you use them, record everything and babysit the movers a if they're teenagers at a party. It's the only way you have a chance at not being screwed.

Do NOT waste your time and money going to this company. They are extremely incompetent…read more I was told they not only had availability on a Sunday, but that it would be cheaper to schedule a move for a Sunday. So, that's what I did. The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Very unprofessional and honestly just plain rude. Another man who arrived asked to purchase my lawn mower that was not at all for sale. They absolutely refused to move me. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. Please please please if you value your time and you need movers go somewhere else.
