I rented 2 large units and a smaller unit inside their facility. Inside storage made my many visits to and from my units much more comfortable during the extreme heat and cold weather since I rented my units for about 18 months even though I went from 2.5 to just one unit during that time. I felt safe going in and out of my storage building at all hours of the night once I entered their secured grounds upon entering my passcode at the gate. I also felt my stored items were secure being in a doubly secured building. There was added passcode security required to enter my building and the lights turned on immediately which made the inside units more desirable to me, especially at night. There was a light in each of my large units also. In addition, there is a long flat cart for storage renters to use for bringing lots of heavy items in and out of my building. As a REALTOR with Platinum Realty, I'm always getting requests for referrals of different service providers. I have recommended A1 Locker Rental Self Storage to my clients and also to anyone moving or just needing extra storage space.

Since the new management change it has nothing but rude, inconsiderate, and unfriendly service. My biggest concern is they turn off your ability to pay your bill to make it extremely difficult for you, your unit then falls in default therefore allowing them "legally" (so they have it worked out to be) to auction your unit for a far larger profit. DO NOT RENT HERE.

We parked our camper for 21 days and within that 21 days essential items needed to operate our camper were stolen, ironically no other campers were broken into. Per the employees, no one reported theft. I find it hard to believe that with the items that were taken, somebody would be able to scale a chain-link fence with Barbwire at the top, so it appears that it was somebody who had access to the gated lot we have an idea of who it was but are not able to view surveillance. A police report was submitted, but I'm sure they're not gonna do much about it. So my suggestion is to steer clear of the storage facility. I would give it a zero star rating, but I had to select one so they get a one star they're not even worthy of that.

I have been with them for over 7 years and have always enjoyed the helpfulness of the employees. Recently I found white mold on my furniture which was store in a climate controlled unit. A representative came out, examined the items and agreed that it was white mold, and determined it was lack of circulation or lack of light. Huh. Isn't that what climate controlled means; that the conditions are conducive to prevent this from happening. Their solution was to allow me to use another unit for 30 days to clean the mold from the furniture and/or move to a different unit. I'm shocked. I pay extra for a climate controlled unit (a lot extra) which apparently does not work. They made no attempt to compensate me for the furniture cleaning or moving the furniture to another unit, or adjust the price of the unit. It's unfortunate because I like the location and employees.
