They charge $10 for storage insurance , $20 for a lock, $25 for administrative fees and a bunch of other tag ons that I don't even remember like keys and key fobs. The worst of it all, the guy taking your information is slow as molasses. So the entire process takes about 30+ minutes of time while your truck rental sits and waits. They won't give you the key until they're done so your friends can't even be helping while you're inside. And after I wait for the slowest typer on the island to finish he says oops it didn't save. I hope I can find my next place quickly so I can cut my time with them incredibly short.

It feels like they purposely waste your time so you'll give up and just pay the extra charges. Every interaction I've had with the management has been unprofessional and dismissive. The manager in particular made me feel completely disrespected and treated me differently in a way that came off discriminatory. Instead of helping, they go out of their way to make the process more frustrating. Save yourself the headache and take your business anywhere else. I had a storage unit here for almost 5 years. When I moved in it was brand new - just built -…read moreclean & convenient. They promise you a month free if you pre-pay for the whole year -yet every renewal that was automatically not the case and had to be adjusted. In fact, the second or third time I renewed my unit, I was told I was in delinquency and that my entire unit was in danger of going to auction. I was 5 days into my "free month" and, after an argument, the manager fixed the issue and credited me my free month. They also promise to hold your current rate for pre-paying for an entire year as well. That never happened either. Upon moving into Storage Post, I was promised a free truck to use as well. The original manager said they were so new that there was no truck yet but as soon as they got it I could use it one time for anything else I wanted to add to my storage space. That day never came. Eventually, a broken truck was parked outside the location - the (then) manager said they used it just as a billboard to lure people in...with "truck" lies apparently. One night I showed up and there were no carts to be found. I visited early the next Saturday when the office was open to complain. They said there was one cart left and if I wanted to use it I would have to only use storage when the office was open - which was only early during weekdays and a few hours on weekends. Why bother letting anyone use the facility after office hours if there is no access to carts? That same Saturday - they let me borrow that one cart they had - I came back 10 minutes later to return it and the office was locked. The three idiots behind the counter went to lunch together - leaving a note. There were people waiting outside of the locked office to get into the building. The facility got dirtier and grimier as well. Eventually I didn't really want to touch anything. Creepy crawleys could also be seen in the hallways now too... Lawrence is an OK area - not bad, but not great. It is mostly houses near there - so I figured people who were going to store stuff would be homeowners - that is kind of why I picked that location. That is, sadly, not the case. A lot of people who store here either take the bus in to store their stuff or drive into the bay with what literally looks like garbage (not even packed up in boxes or bags many times) and then just throw it in a pile into their unit. Once I saw a lady lay down on the ground on her stomach, gingerly open up her unit less than a foot to try to get something. Garbage proceeded to fall out - literally garbage - dust-bunnies, wrappers, empty containers, balled up paper, etc. - as she grabbed around for whatever she was trying to find. Another time a man pulled his car into the bay and proceeded to put about 30 broken down old shoes on a cart, brought them to his unit and simply "winged" them in. When the recession hit it got even worse as people lost their homes and apartments, I guess. That is when it really went downhill and got really dirty and grimy and more people were storing here. I also started to feel unsafe storing here as well. Once I had an altercation with a man who was blocking the car-bay with his truck. When I asked him to please move - he threatened to punch me AND my mother in the face. The office was open and eventually the manager came out and pulled the guy away - and apologized. A bit scary - but hey - I am from New York... : - ) Another time when the office was closed - a lady high on something once got into the elevator with me and asked me to take her to the second floor. I told her I could not - I only had access to my floor. She got off on my floor, when the doors opened. I simply took the elevator back down to the bay - I didn't want to be on the same floor with her stumbling around. Another person arrived and was going to my floor - so I went back up with him and this time the elevator opened on the second floor first and there was the crack-head crying and slurring and screaming that she couldn't get at her stuff (have no idea how she even got on that floor, either). The guy told her that we were going up and she would have to wait for the next elevator. Thank goodness he was there and thank goodness the crack-head was on another floor. I got out of there as quick as I could. With all that happened and upon not receiving my free month again - nor the additional free month that the previous manager had promised me for all my past troubles (apparently since he was no longer there - the hand written note on my rental agreement with his signature now meant nothing) - I moved out. PS - they require like 45 days notice to move out. Can you believe it? My new space is so clean and cheaper too! I made sure to steer clear of ALL Storage Post facilities. I advise you to do the same. I have many more Storage Post stories but this review is already way too loo long. : - )

Price wise I felt it was a bit much - even with the discounted rate I believe I paid 80$ for both months I rented. That's hefty, and I had to buy their lock ? So now I have a 20$ lock I guess ? It was semi - convenient , I signed up over the one while I sat in the parking lot because there wasn't a rep on site at the time. A few times I went to the unit I did see a person so I know there is one that exists. The open and close times are good, 6am to 9pm.

I constantly saw buckets catching water dripTThe problem was there roof is falling apart and they did nothing to repair the roof. They are 100 percent at fault.. For a month there was no problem. Then I found my unit became flooded and all my aunts possessions were ruined and we did not have insurance on the room because it was never offered to us by a lady, We went to Santiago and he did not offer us a penny . We will take them to court and win as we have plenty of pictures of the ceiling leaking which is solely due to their leaky facility. DO NOT USE OMEGA SELF STORAGE IF YOU WANT YOU LOVED ONES PROPERTY SAFE.

So I had a hardship I was dealing with domestic violence so the district manager was helping with a pay and vacate the storage unit. So I went there to pay and the regular manager that I deal with Evelyn wasn't there another person by the name of Alex was there, so I sat there for over a hour while she was texting people trying to figure out what was going on. After sitting there I was getting frustrated and my tone changed a little and so did hers and she was like I am trying to help you but you can leave , I am just going to put everything she said to me. You the one that can't be your storage, I said because I had a domestic violence situation , she said well I'm married and I picked right , I said that's how you speak to the customer's she said I don't care I can quit this job tomorrow they pay me just to sit around just a disgusting attitude. And the next day after she told her side of the story to the regular store manager Evelyn called my phone the number day being just as rude and yelling wouldn't let me speak and said that she would not be helping me any longer. After calling my insurance company they stated that it is not required as there was no where to add same and that my stuff WAS COVERED regardless of which storage location I used. I even did a 3 way call with the LICENSED INSURANCE AGENT and Kavin yet Kavin seemed to think he knew more and kept on insisting that something be aded to my polcy when there was no way to add it since the policy already covered my stuff in a storage unit... This guy need to be retrained asap!!!
