From the very beginning, the customer service was unacceptable. When I called with service-related concerns, I was met with condescending attitudes, laughter, and inappropriate jokes rather than professionalism or genuine assistance. As a customer, I should never have been made to feel uncomfortable or belittled simply for asking questions and expecting basic courtesy. The way I was treated made me feel that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For the quality of customer service, professionalism, and overall value, I would not recommend this company. In particular, as a woman, I found the interactions especially uncomfortable, and I would strongly caution other women against using this company based on my experience. Moving is already stressful enough without having to deal with a company that makes you feel dismissed, laughed at, or uncomfortable. I expected professionalism and respect, and unfortunately, that was not what I received from All My Sons. No value is worth being treated like that.

The company systems for registration are online, so it is fast and secure (hopefully). The facilities are spotless, there are enough dolleys to help move your stuff, 2 elevators, good lighting and a rest-room if you need one. Insurance for $2000 (check that) is included in the rent. They provide for automatic monthly payments. We used Amex and got the first month on a 10x10 unit for just the administration cost of $29. They also included a free lock. Hopefully, the termination of the lease will be just as smooth.

Shannon and Stefan were always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful through the two-and-a-half months that we used ExtraSpace. The facility is also very clean and stayed totally dry during the epic September rains we had -- a bonus since we had to move more furniture into the facility when our basement flooded! They were very responsive, accommodating, and totally on top of things -- it made the whole experience great. Another thing to know about this facility is that it can accommodate large semi-truck sized moving trucks in some of its bays, and your average Budget/U-Haul truck can pull up right in front of any of the units since it is all on one level with very wide aisles, unlike the multi-level, enclosed storage you find elsewhere. That made it super-easy to move things in and out, and it's conveniently located near I-70, thus easy to get to. Oh, and their prices were better than the one in Stapleton, for example -- look on the web to get the best deals!

Their website was much more informative than other sites that I had found including sizes, availability and estimated pricing without having to give all of your personal info prior. I saw that they had quite a wide variety of sizes and accessibility. Including a 10' X 20' unit that was double the size of my previous unit for not a whole lot more than I was paying. I sent the conditions I was looking for including accessibility and the ability to drive my motorcycle into the unit and received a prompt phone call the next morning. Ruthie acknowledged my conditions up front without having to repeat the information I had already provided. They had multiple options available in the size I was looking for. Ruthie was willing to be available based on my personal schedule within business hours. It was easy to find, conveniently located with multiple routes to get there depending on the direction you are coming from. Miss Ruthie was as pleasant as could be. She was honest in answering my questions about potential for any safety or crime issues. She walked me to the unit, and was the one to point out that the light bulb was burnt out. I was satisfied and we walked back. Not to get too far off topic but when we made it back to the office, there was another lady working the counter dealing with a young couple that were trying to rent a pick up truck. The young lady must have been a princess from a far away land because she was talking to the woman working like a peasant, trying to negotiate the rental contract as if the woman behind the counter was the CEO of uhaul. The woman behind the counter continued to be patient and kind with the lady. The demands continued and then the boyfriend chimed in. He rudely asked, "Can I get a shovel since I guess you don't clean your trucks around here!" Mind you, it had just snowed over a foot the day before... Ruthie turns around and smiles at me. Realizing the situation, I let her know that I'm in no hurry and she can do what ever she needs to do. Miss Ruthie grabs a push broom and proceeds outside to clean out the pickup truck. Princess Jasmine starts in again and demands furniture blankets and starts telling her she refuses to pay any extra. The boy-friend comes back again, "What is she doing with a push broom? Does she even know what she is doing?". Not to drift further away from the review but this kid looked Napoleon Dynamite. Frail enough that it might be a chore to leave the video game console, let alone had ever lifted a shovel or pushed a broom. Anyway, the woman behind the counter tried to explain to them that the blankets were a bad idea for keeping things dry but politely told the couple that she was happy to accommodate. She finishes the couple up and immediately comes to me and smiles as if nothing had happened. She introduces herself as Andrea, thanks me and says she can finish me up. She gives me a quick list of what they needed and then goes in and reviews the current promotions to get me the best deal available. Ruthie comes in while we were completing the paperwork process and offers me coffee. Aside from the drama they were dealing with, my entire process including paperwork and payment took less than 20 minutes. I would like to note than I have been a professional in the costumer service industry for over 20 years and I would not have been able to maintain the composer and professionalism that Ruthie and Andrea displayed.
