Completely dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful from start to finish. I referred Donnie a long-distance move for my clients, and from the very beginning it was a mess. He rushed through the phone call, failed to gather basic and necessary information, and quoted my clients $1,500, which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. When the movers actually showed up, the price magically jumped to $2,300 -- and even after paying that inflated amount, they still didn't move everything. My clients were forced to rent a U-Haul themselves just to finish the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent. At pickup, the movers couldn't even give a rough estimate of when the items would be delivered. My clients' belongings were left in limbo for days, and it took countless phone calls just to get a vague update on where their items were and when they might arrive. This level of disorganization is shocking for a company that claims to be professional. On top of all that, Donnie personally put in writing that I would receive a referral fee. When I followed up to resolve the issue professionally, he completely dodged responsibility -- ignoring messages, blocking my calls, and refusing to communicate at all. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about his character and how this company operates. I was told my concerns were "escalated to customer service," yet I've heard absolutely nothing since. No follow-up. No accountability. No resolution. This company is misleading, unreliable, and operates with zero integrity. They bait customers with low pricing, change terms last minute, and disappear when problems arise. He agreed that he could move my belongings from a one bedroom apartment within 3 hours to align with my budget and expectations. Day of, he and his assistant arrived (on time) and the day started pleasant but SLOWLY took a turn. Everything was packed yet this move that was conveniently being billed hourly took over SIX HOURS. The moving assistant was very unprofessional, whether it was standing around waiting for directions and talking negatively about the owner. There were items broken like the leg on my couch and the leg on a buffet but both were fixed. My mattress was put in a moving bag but my box spring was left out so it's ripped. While lifting the couch, they dropped it and hit the kitchen counter, chipping the stone and the wood on the island. After enduring this wildly unprofessionally and extremely time consuming experience, the owner called himself doing me a favor by stopping the clock as he tried to fix the leg on my couch (that he broke). After being charged double my budget and responding in frustration, the owner had his administrative assistant call me a day later to "apologize". This was another interaction displaying incompetence and unprofessionalism. She wanted to let me know that the moving assistant had been fired but was dealing with things in his personal life so he did not show up to work as his best. I questioned why should I have to pay more because your company's employees are unable work efficiently!! She told me that they can't control people. This was the WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE. For context I've moved from a 3 bedroom home quicker and with no damages. Save your time and your money, book elsewhere!
