Before beginning, they walked the house and asked questions about how we wanted things organized. I was impressed on how much they were each able to move by themselves! They were beasts! Everything was loaded from our old house quickly. There were a few items that didn't fit in the truck but we were able to go back later and retrieve. Christian and Cameron wasted no time upon arrival at our new house. They were communicative and checked in periodically to ensure boxes and furniture were going to the right locations. They quickly unloaded and had our furniture reassembled in no time. We were very impressed by them. They carried themselves professionally and were friendly. They had us unloaded quicker than expected! They were very appreciative of the Gatorade we picked up for them and thanked us several times. After unloading, they walked the house with us to ensure everything was where we wanted it. Can't say enough good things about these two and about Einstein Moving. Price was very reasonable especially considering their efficiency and quality of work. Well-worth the cost. I've already recommended Einstein Moving to others. Would definitely hire again! Christian and Cameron worked hard on a very hot summer day and were well deserving of the generous tip. Thanks for an amazing experience! You have two wonderful employees!

GREAT SERVICE !!!!…read more I was a bit nervous as my last move was disastrous. But let me tell you, it was a smooth process from start to pickup, which put my worries at ease. I got detailed email follow-up calls and calls upon arrival, and I also did a video call to go through everything I was moving for the quote. And I like how they split the packing and moving to the truck. The two guys who came back to pack my apartment were great and worked so diligently packing my things. They came prepared with everything they needed, and I just got out of the way, and they did their thing Honestly, the value for the service they provided was worth it. So if you are planning to move and need a great customer, this is the place to call Updated review coming on delivery. This review was based on packing and removing everything from the apartment

On seven previous moves over a span of 36 years, never was our TV so flimsily packed. Past movers built a wooden crate to fit the TV, with abundant packing around the TV inside. Not so in this case. When movers unpacked our TV in Austin, there was a large, long crack in the screen and the TV wouldn't work. I took it to Bond's TV Service in Austin and they determined that the TV could not be fixed. A replacement panel for it was no longer available. I spoke Nick at Fantastic Moves about the loss and he indicated that their insurance would pay us 35 cents/pound, which translated to about $27. How ridiculous! He agreed to speak with the owner of the company about my request that they provide a more fair adjustment for our loss, but no action was taken. Silence was their response. We had Fantastic Moves put our things in storage in Austin for about three weeks while we bought and closed on a house purchase. We then hired Unicorn Movers to bring our goods from storage to our house. So Nick immediately blamed the local Austin movers for our loss, refusing to take any responsibility. I am attaching photos of the cracked TV and the crushed corner of the cardboard box that Fantastic Moves used for our TV. You be the judge. If you value your TV, don't hire Fantastic Moves.

**Review for Fantastic Moves: A Moving Mishap**…read more I wish I were sharing a glowing review, but my experience with Fantastic Moves turned out to be anything but fantastic. Let me take you on this adventure, hoping to garner a little sympathy from my online friends and maybe even inspire change at the company. So, picture this: the night after the movers left, I'm just trying to get everything ready for my mother-in-law's visit. I start a load of laundry, feeling all settled in my new home--only to be greeted by a FLOODED laundry room and water seeping into the kitchen like a scene from a disaster movie! My beautiful wood floors were at stake, and let me tell you, panic mode activated. After scrambling to contain the chaos, I reached out to Fantastic Moves, thinking they'd swoop in like heroes. I spoke with Nick, who promised a crew member would come check it out. Spoiler alert: that visit never happened. Instead, a driver finally showed up a day later--well after the promised time--and casually informed me that my washing machine wasn't "properly locked during transport." Wait, what? I didn't even know that was a thing! My wife and I were both left scratching our heads when we were told the locks in question didn't even apply to our top-loading machine. Then came the kicker: we might be waiting weeks--or even months--for a technician to fix the issue. At nearly 70 years old, the last thing I need is to navigate laundry in a new neighborhood for an eternity! I calmly explained how urgent the situation was, reminding Nick we paid $2500 (not including tips!) and that this just shouldn't be happening. Instead of empathy, I felt like I was being accused of having an ancient washing machine! Excuse me? It was working just fine before your team had their way with it! When I warned Nick I might need to share my experience in a review, he took it as a personal attack rather than a genuine plea for help. The conversation quickly escalated, and I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. Now, two days later, Nick tells me he can't arrange for a technician and sends me off with a phone number to call myself! Seriously?! With all the unpacking and chaos of moving, I shouldn't have to take this on. "Fantastic Moves" implies a commitment to quality, but that's not what we received. I genuinely wanted to celebrate the moving crew for their hard work, but this experience has left a sour taste. Moving is already a circus; I shouldn't have to deal with additional headaches. As we now look into buying a new washing machine, I hope my story resonates and encourages the company to step up its game. Everyone deserves respect and accountability, especially during chaos! In retrospect... I should have checked the better business website! The company is NOT ACCREDITED. Although the movers themselves were quick, and truly fantastic, a company is only as good as how they handle issues when things go wrong #FantasticMoves NOT so Fantastic

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.
