While I ultimately decided not to move forward with this service, I still wanted to leave a review because the experience itself was genuinely positive. From the very first interaction, the communication was clear, candid, and incredibly helpful. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, follow-up was prompt, and there was zero pressure at any point. I really appreciated the honesty and transparency throughout the process. Even without formally using the service, the level of professionalism and customer care stood out to me. Based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable, responsive, and straightforward. read more

Absolutely go with Systematic Home Inspections! I utterly regret not using them for our home 2 years ago. We were not going to make that same mistake a second time. We are relocating and have a new build in the beginning stages. We utilized their services for the initial pre-drywall inspection and we are beyond grateful. John is thorough, knowledgeable, transparent with costs, and professional. The final report explains every little detail with no confusion. Every notation was clear and concise. Invest in your home and safety! We are definitely going to use their services again for the final walkthrough when our home is completed. 10/10 RECOMMENDED!!!!! read more

Had my roof & gutters replaced and also some rotted wood repaired on the facia and eaves of the house by a roofing company. Hired John to inspect the work that was done, and he was extremely professional and quick to get to it. He found some rotted wood that had not been repaired and informed me that the roofers did a good job and was one of the better roofing jobs he had seen..... was happy to hear this. He did note that the dryer vent pipe should be replaced with a more modern one that would keep out squirrels and insects. He sent me photos and a video of the rotted wood that the roofer was supposed to repair but did not and also went over everything with me over the phone. I highly recommend him and wish there more people out there that take pride in their work like he does. read more

We are on our 4th home, so we've had the chance to work with 4 different home inspectors at this point. John is one of, if not, the best inspector we've met so far. The quality of his report speaks for itself. He provides clear photos with a concise explanation of the issues. John's attention to detail is astounding - he picks up details that many inspectors would surely miss. We met him at the property in person, and he was able to walk us through some of the major issues. I really appreciated that a lot. He has a lot of experience and knowledge and it shows. read more

Updated review a year later -- still five stars! We asked John to come back at the 11-month mark before our warranty ran out on our new construction. He was extremely through again and found an issue with our attic ventilation that our builder was not aware of. The builder did their own substantial research on the claim and found that John was correct. We would have never caught this issue without him and were able to have it resolved within our warranty period due to John's insight. He also noticed before the Big Freeze of 2021 that our hose bibs were uncovered and recommended we cover them, likely saving us some burst pipe issues in the weather. Thanks John! read more

I was looking to purchase a home in the DFW area while living in Kansas City, MO, but I didn't know where I could find a good company that did home inspections. I decided to go on google and search around. I decided to give Systematic Home Inspections a call. I was so glad I did! John was amazing. He was very detailed orientated and found a lot of small thing's during the inspection that other people may have overlooked, which saved me a lot of money. He was very responsive to my emails and very flexible when it can to scheduling the actual inspection. Once the inspection was complete he sent me pictures and videos of his findings along with detailed notes to take back to the builder. My husband contacted John via Yelp and we got a response fairly quickly. Scheduling an appointment was very easy via email and we were all set. We needed a home inspection on our home that we just purchase less than a year ago. It is a new built and due to covid we weren't able to schedule a home inspection prior to moving in (just didn't fit in the timeline). But since our home warranty was about to expire we wanted to know if there would be any repair that needed to be done under warranty. We highly recommend systematic home inspection to anyone who needs their house inspected. (We are not first time buyer and have some experience with home inspectors). John is the person you want to hire if you want to know if there is anything wrong with your home. He is professional, friendly and punctual. Arrived on time and it took him about 4 hours to inspect everything. Very throughly and detailed. Explained everything to us and gave us recommendations. 5 stars all the way! Thank you for your great service. Appreciate it! read more

John is just good! He found things that should've been found during our initial inspection. We were unable to use him due to our builder's rules but we were able to use him for our 1-yr inspection. I hired John to do an inspection of my new build. I can't say how great he is with his thorough inspection and the detailed report he provides. He found things wrong with my new build that I wouldn't have even noticed. He saved us quite a bit of headache by outlining some minor to major issues. His service was worth every penny and I'm so happy with deciding to go with him and not another company. If you're searching for a home inspector, go with John. You'll have no regrets. There is a reason he is rated so highly. read more

I recently sold my house and I had always been told to not have an inspection done since you're the seller. Well I can put that myth to rest. I was basically doing a rehab since the house had been a rental for 10 years. I contacted John and he was able to fit me in the schedule quickly. He arrived on time and was able to start by using the suprakey my realtor had put on the house. He took nearly 4 hours to do the inspection, and reviewed the house top to bottom. His inspection is very thorough and called out things that I had overlooked. Once I had the inspection I was able to address the issues and put any future buyers concerns to rest. In closing. John is an honest guy that you can put your trust in. I will call him for my next house read more

What more can I say about this business and John that hasn't previously been stated. It's so hard these days to get great service from ANY business when you are paying any amount of money, from $1-thousands. However, this was not the case with John, he makes you feel like a life long friend. He does his job thoroughly and doesn't interrupt your daily activities. You can tell he's been doing this a while, because some of the things normal people like myself would never catch, he caught. He was even kind enough to put my new AC vents in I had sitting on the floor. As we talked (here and there) and after he inspected my home I felt like I'd known him for years. The thing I appreciate the most is his honesty, professionalism and not trying to further solicit anything. I STRONGLY recommend him, and any other inspections I need in the future he's on my list of regulars to use. Thanks John! read more
