You cannot go wrong with this company! We have a very unique relocation situation. My husband is retiring from the Air Force and we are settling in the North Dallas suburbs. Because of the tight timeline and tighter market, we originally put a home in the Trails of Frisco under contract, and then called Kissee to perform the inspection. Our realtor attended the inspection, and she said Mark was the most qualified and thorough inspector she had seen! He pointed out HUGE issues with the house that we were simply not qualified to detect. The house ended up having hidden roof, plumbing, electrical and possible foundation issues - overall, it would have cost at least $50,000 in repairs! The money we spend with Kissee literally saved us from making a HUGE "money-pit" purchase, and I am so thankful for Mark's thorough and professional nature. He points out EVERYTHING that could potentially go wrong with a house - that's his job - and then he educates the buyer on how serious each repair could or couldn't potentially be. I used Kissee Home Inspections when I bought my house in Frisco,TX. I used Google search to find them and chose their services based on prior reviews. When I called to inquire about getting an inspection I spoke with Anita; she was very friendly and courteous throughout the process of setting up the inspection. Not only did she give me a thorough background of the company and their experience, but she also explained in detail what the inspection would provide and what I could expect from their services. Anita's kindness and professionalism proved that I had chosen the right company for my inspection. Mark did the inspection the following day and sent the report that afternoon. We hired Kissee Home Inspections to inspect a home in Plano. I almost went with the "cheaper" guy -All I can say is that, I'm sure glad I didn't! First of all, they answered the phone, right away! The office did a great job explaining the process to me and answering my questions. The day of inspection, Mark did a most thorough job. He wanted to make sure the Seller repairs were correctly done. One of the repairs was on the upstairs shower. He checked it by running the water for at least 20-30 minutes to be sure it didn't leak. I'm SO glad he did! I'm double glad he ran it as long as he did (at first 10 minutes nothing happened). Because he ran shower awhile, he found that the shower pan was leaking in the downstairs cathedral ceiling like a sieve! I saw it with my own eyes! I called Kissee after a friend at my job mentioned them. I called 2 other inspectors to compare quotes then called Kissee. Those 2 gave me a quote and hang up. Before giving me a quote the wonderful lady I talked to at Kissee (Anita) took the time to explain the whole process of what they do. That was the difference. I am a first time home builder and was referred to Kissee Home Inspections by my Realtor. They were very responsive with scheduling a date for the first inspection, and the inspection report was then emailed to me in PDF format which I was then able to utilize for my own walk through of the home. The report was very detailed, and there were important items relating to the roof and sprinkler system that would have been difficult for me to inspect on my own. They also conducted a repeat inspection after some home upgrades and repairs that was very helpful to move towards closing on my house in a timely manner. After both inspections there was less than 24 hours turnaround time in getting their inspection findings to me. It was great working with Mark and Anita when we purchased our house in Frisco! Mark's inspection was extremely thorough and his inspection report went above and beyond anything I've seen before complete with photos and other schematics to explain all that was going on with the house. Based on his recommendation, we had the previous owners pay for the servicing of the A/C units as part of the negotiations. Mark went back once that and a few other repairs were done to make sure that it was done right. Unfortunately, it was not. We were closing on the house the following day and he took time out of his super busy schedule the following morning to make sure that the second repair on the A/C was done correctly, which it was. They came out to the Home site and inspected the foundation, then came back to inspect before drywall, and then inspected the house when it was completed. I had a great experience. Both with Anita in the office, and Mark, the inspector. They were able to fit me in the day after I called, which was amazing t in the crazy DFW market. I met with Mark for about 30 minutes after the inspection. He was very thorough, helpful, and honest.
