I'm having probably the busiest week of my professional and personal life, but I'm spending the time writing this review, so you should probably be able to tell how happy I was with the service. I'm going through the process of my first home purchase in Texas so I found several inspectors with great reviews on Yelp. I wound up going with Anchor, which was a great decision. Heath was very thorough in his inspection, and even more thorough when he met with me to go over his findings. He took the time to explain everything to me clearly. I'm very confident he gave me all of the information I needed in regard to my potential home purchase. My real estate agent was very impressed as well. 10/10. Thank you! read more

Heath is extremely thorough and helped me identify every issue possible on my home before purchasing. Was able to get a better price on the house because of the amount of work needed with Heath found. Will be using him for any other work and couldn't recommend him more! read more

Heath was a very thorough and informed inspector for my purchase of an existing home. He was able to do my inspection with short notice and did not take any shortcuts - I think he spent upwards of 4 hours. At the end of the inspection, Heath provides a very detailed report and takes time to walk through it with you at the house, answering any questions and making sure you understand all his comments. Highly recommend! read more

Our recent interaction with Heath was really excellent. The report is very detailed and he spent good amount of time after the inspection to go over major findings and answer all of our questions. Very professional, knowledgeable, energetic and patient, highly recommended. read more

I'm a realtor and this group did a recent inspection for one of my buyers in Plano. They were very patient as they were kept waiting for 30 minutes for paperwork. The inspection was very thorough and they even did a video of the results! Really decent price for what was needed. Will definitely recommend them again. read more

Updated review: We used Anchor again for the home we ended up purchasing. Everything went smoothly again, they worked hard to squeeze us in when we had a 3 days option. Really pleased with their work and their customer service. I will continue to recommend them to any family members or friends who move to the area. read more

I am very particular with my investments. Especially my primary residence. I always order a home inspection, WDI, and structural engineer. The owner of Anchor Inspection Group is one of the most detailed inspector I have met in a while. The 174 page report showed every aspect of the home inside and out. His summary was detailed so I can focus on what needs to be repaired in the home I am purchasing. His recommendation for a WDI was spot on! The WDI showed where I need to direct my pest control company to focus on what area need treatment. Thank you so much for your time and professionalism! read more

Prompt, thorough and. knowledgeable. We got all the information we needed about the property and we quickly received a very clear and detailed report. Thanks to the folks at Anchor we were able to complete the purchase of our home with confidence. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTING! Missed the A/C condensation line that was directly at the crawl space, not attached and bowing. Caused A/C to go out on first night in new home. The dryer vent is venting under the house and is not to code. . It is near a gas line and electricity. These are items that should not have been missed. read more

I recommend Anchor Inspection Group and Heath very much! We bought a house that was re-listed after the previous buyers backed out last second, so they already had an inspection done a few weeks prior. At the recommendation of our agent, we still went ahead with our own inspection and we're so glad we did. The inspection report from Anchor Inspection Group and Heath was 112 pages long (the previous buyer's company had a 25 page report!) and it covered every thing in great detail between the house and pool. After he finished, Heath went through the report with us to identify the big and small items, and emailed us the report shortly after. He also spoke with our agent as well, so he could understand the details a lot better than we would have explained. In the end they saved us thousands of dollars in closing costs because we had such great detail on this report. And lastly, our agent was so impressed with the extent of the report that he mentioned he might have to start referring them to his future clients. read more

Quick response and Heath did a very thorough inspection of our home. I would highly recommend him if you need a home inspection.

Had a recent inspection in Frisco. Heath Hays is great! Thorough inspection and quick report turnaround. Very professional. Answers all the questions. Great experience read more

I was particular about having Heath inspect our house given that I had read such positive things about him. And he delivered! We had a new build home and you would think there wouldn't be too much to find but you'd be surprised! Not only was he able to tell us all of the issues he found but he was particularly looking out for things that generally ONLY occur with new build homes. He was incredibly knowledgeable, spent about 4-5 hours inspecting our house and put together an incredibly detailed report for us. He was so prompt in all of his responses which is incredibly important to me. Due to the COVID situation he wore a mask when he was around us so I appreciated that as well. There were some scheduling issues with the builder and he was so flexible in rescheduling our walk-through. He was super patient and even gave us his cell phone number in case we had any questions. I would highly recommend them and if we ever need another inspection, we will definitely be giving them a call! read more

Heath was very prompt and extremely flexible. Not only was he able to accommodate our tight schedule, he coordinated very well with the seller's agent and was able to communicate with us over text messaging. We had a family emergency to attend to, so we had to conduct all our transactions remotely. He showed up to the appointment on time and sent us a text message upon completion of the inspection. Heath was even able to handle secure payment via square (over email), so the transaction went very smoothly. Within minutes of receipt of payment, he emailed us a very detailed report, and noted items as detailed as "caulking around the baseboards". I highly recommend him. read more

We can't recommend Heath enough. My wife and I were please ad how thorough he was in both the inspection and the walkthrough. He answered all of our questions, we never felt rushed, and learned about things that weren't "required" but were also notable. I would not hesitate to call on Anchor Inspection Group if you ever have a home inspection need. read more

Heath responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp despite the late hour. We needed an inspection quickly and we were able to work out a time with Victoria in their office. Victoria and Heath were both a pleasure to work with thoughout the entire process, everything went without a hitch which is what we needed as first time home buyers. The 130+ page inspection included explanations of each issue and lots of pictures. And how cool is it to have thermal imagery! I would recommend Anchor Inspection to anyone in a heart beat. read more

We are in the midst of buying our first home and needed an inspection done asap. My husband contacted AIG and within the hour, received a response, and had confirmed a price and date/time of the inspection. We were so pleased by their professionalism and efficiency! The price was one of the things that attracted us; we bought an approx. 1300sq/ft condo, two stories, 2-bed 2.5-bath, and the inspection was $350. About a hundred bucks less than the inspection service that our realtor recommended. Our inspector was reliable and prompt, and it took about 2.5 hours for the entire inspection. We showed up at the end and he detailed his concerns to us during the tour of the house post-inspection, and really took his time to explain to us each element of the inspection and answer any questions we had. We received a detailed report and complete paperwork less than 24 hours later, and he continued to answer our questions throughout the closing process, and even connected with our realtor when needed. Needless to say, we were very happy with our choice in AIG and would choose them again for our future inspection needs! read more

Working with Victoria and Heath was a pleasant, professional, and hassle-free experience. Heath inspected the house and he provided me with a detailed report. He gave his contact details and was open to answering all the questions. read more

I would recommend Heath to anyone who is looking to get a quality home inspection. Heath arrived on time and created a roughly 70 page report for his inspection. He also included a report summary which highlighted the most important findings of his report. His report was well-organized and included pictures of each problem. His report also had a section with all the serial numbers for important appliances. I researched several home inspectors before selecting Anchor. The report I received from Heath was on par with other sample reports I reviewed from other more expensive, but well-reviewed inspectors. read more

Heath inspected a 1966 built home I'm about to buy. He was beyond thorough. What I appreciated most about his service was his ability to speak in layman's terms or get as technical as I needed. He really understands what to look out for and how to communicate that to the client. Heath stayed late to walk me through everything and answer a ton of questions I had. I would strongly recommend using Heath and his company for all inspection needs! read more

HIGHLY recommended!!! If you need a thorough inspection from a trusted source then Anchor Inspection Group is for you. Heath provided severely detailed information in the inspection report which can seem daunting if you're not familiar. He very politely explained all issues found and was able to quickly put me at ease. Heath's report also came in handy in planning upgrades. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Mike at Anchor Inspection. His quote is competitive & the information he provided is beyond what I asked for. He is very honest about what services include in the package & what will be additional cost. The 5 year roof leak warranty is impressive as well. Unfortunately, he is all booked, so we couldn't work with him this time. He also offered his number for me to reach out if there is any concern/ questions regarding the house which our inspection don't or can't answer. Definitely look forward to working with him in the future & recommend him for your inspection need. read more

Heath was extremely thorough in his inspection of our home (report was over 100 pages long) and very helpful in explaining things that were worth repairing/replacing vs. things that weren't. He was also very prompt in responding to an email I sent a couple months after the inspection had completed when his verbal recommendations left my mind. His price is extremely competitive for what he offers and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to do an inspection. read more

One of the most detailed inspection report I have ever seen. Heath was available on a next day notice to take a look at a home that we've never step foot on. Due to the covid situation, we were not able to travel to tour the place. Heath was able to document all the major deficiencies and also patiently educate us on the things that we should focus on, and things we shouldn't be worried about. We felt that we were able to make a better decision because of his report and consultation. We would definitely have him again for our future inspections. read more

Anchor Inspection is a great company! The customer service was excellent from start to finish. The inspection is thorough and personable.

Heath did an excellent job with our recent home inspection. His inspection reports are very detailed (which we really appreciated) and he makes thoughtful suggestions as he reviews it with you. He's also available post inspection if you have any questions. read more

Heath is extremely knowledgeable, professional and well spoken. His business and work reflect this from A-Z. As a First time homebuyer he made me and my wife feel super comfortable and 100% aware of all details with our home purchase. I'll be recommending his work whenever somebody mentions Home Purchase to me again. His report is detailed, concise with images and enough clarity to understand it fully and he's more than willing to explain any little detail you may have a doubt about. Heath: Do not let your success be your failure as many companies do and as you start growing into a bigger company be mindful of your customer service and attention to detail, which as of today, it's OUTSTANDING! read more

Heath at Anchor Inspection Group was awesome! I am a first time home buyer, and felt in good hands with him. He was very, very thorough, and patiently walked me through the entire house. Others that read the report agreed that he did a great job. 5 stars, excellent service! read more

We're purchasing our first home and Heath was recommended to us - we aren't disappointed in the least. Heath was extremely thorough in the home inspection process, allowed us to be present while he was working, and even went through the report with us at the end to explain his findings. He answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed. His report was extremely thorough and included photos of every item (and also included numerous "courtesy photos" - things that were inspected but not found to be defective, AND photos of our appliances/serial numbers). He was easy to get a hold of, prompt with scheduling, and overall was the ideal experience for us. The price he quoted was the price we paid, some inspections have hidden fees or other costs, but not Heath. He's honest, professional, and extremely detailed. I would highly recommend Heath. read more

My husband and I had such an awesome experience working with Heath. He was so quickly to respond back to me after I sent an inquiry. Plus, I was able to schedule an appointment immediately. His reports were very detailed with pictures and explanations of any problems. He actually had the best price out there, too. We can't say enough about this company and its owner. It will be our go-to for any inspections from now on. We'll definitely refer our friends and family, too. Thanks again for all your work!! read more

Heath did a spectacular job inspecting our new build before closing. He caught flaws and issues we wouldn't have otherwise noticed, and his 91-page report explained everything in detail-- which cracks and seams are benign and why, red flags to look out for, and so on. We just wanted a report to identify and summarize problems for the builders to fix before closing, but the report will also be a helpful manual for us as first time homeowners. His rate was very reasonable and will certainly save us money for repairs down the line. Scheduling and payment were effortless and fast as well. We couldn't be more satisfied. read more

I've been the seller or buyer on a number of home inspections in the past, but I have to say Heath at Anchor Inspection Group was THE most impressive inspection experience I have ever had.
