I am very particular with my investments. Especially my primary residence. I always order a home inspection, WDI, and structural engineer. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Missed the A/C condensation line that was directly at the crawl space, not attached and bowing. Caused A/C to go out on first night in new home. The dryer vent is venting under the house and is not to code. . It is near a gas line and electricity. These are items that should not have been missed. read more

I recommend Anchor Inspection Group and Heath very much! We bought a house that was re-listed after the previous buyers backed out last second, so they already had an inspection done a few weeks prior. At the recommendation of our agent, we still went ahead with our own inspection and we're so glad we did. The inspection report from Anchor Inspection Group and Heath was 112 pages long (the previous buyer's company had a 25 page report!) and it covered every thing in great detail between the house and pool. After he finished, Heath went through the report with us to identify the big and small items, and emailed us the report shortly after. He also spoke with our agent as well, so he could understand the details a lot better than we would have explained. In the end they saved us thousands of dollars in closing costs because we had such great detail on this report. I was particular about having Heath inspect our house given that I had read such positive things about him. And he delivered! We had a new build home and you would think there wouldn't be too much to find but you'd be surprised! Not only was he able to tell us all of the issues he found but he was particularly looking out for things that generally ONLY occur with new build homes. He was incredibly knowledgeable, spent about 4-5 hours inspecting our house and put together an incredibly detailed report for us. He was so prompt in all of his responses which is incredibly important to me. Due to the COVID situation he wore a mask when he was around us so I appreciated that as well. There were some scheduling issues with the builder and he was so flexible in rescheduling our walk-through. He was super patient and even gave us his cell phone number in case we had any questions. I would highly recommend them and if we ever need another inspection, we will definitely be giving them a call! read more

Not only was he able to accommodate our tight schedule, he coordinated very well with the seller's agent and was able to communicate with us over text messaging. We had a family emergency to attend to, so we had to conduct all our transactions remotely. He showed up to the appointment on time and sent us a text message upon completion of the inspection. Heath was even able to handle secure payment via square (over email), so the transaction went very smoothly. He also included a report summary which highlighted the most important findings of his report. His report was well-organized and included pictures of each problem. His report also had a section with all the serial numbers for important appliances. I researched several home inspectors before selecting Anchor. We are in the midst of buying our first home and needed an inspection done asap. My husband contacted AIG and within the hour, received a response, and had confirmed a price and date/time of the inspection. We were so pleased by their professionalism and efficiency! The price was one of the things that attracted us; we bought an approx. 1300sq/ft condo, two stories, 2-bed 2.5-bath, and the inspection was $350. About a hundred bucks less than the inspection service that our realtor recommended. Our inspector was reliable and prompt, and it took about 2.5 hours for the entire inspection. We showed up at the end and he detailed his concerns to us during the tour of the house post-inspection, and really took his time to explain to us each element of the inspection and answer any questions we had. We received a detailed report and complete paperwork less than 24 hours later, and he continued to answer our questions throughout the closing process, and even connected with our realtor when needed.
