Good site manager, Dwayne is a good manager and provides upmost customer service. My only contention with Corporate is their pricing in less than 24 months. I was presented with 3 rate changes. Based on this last rate change I decided to leave. I had 3 storage units with Extra Storage space of which I have vacated all of them. From my starting price of approximately $450.00 a month for all 3 it was going to be $1020.00 with the latest rate change. No thanks, I dont even have a house mortgage. These were not climate controlled units. In any event they served the purpose of storing my items. Good people, site was clean.. except these last 2 units one did have a dead rat, and it had a lot of leaves. Which I cleared and removed with the trash. The last one I cleared had rat droppings and leaves. Probably rats moved them in for insulation during the winter months. I rarely visited my units. It was unexpected to see this much litter. Still I complied to the terms of cleaning it. read more

Facility is very clean and the staff is very helpful. They really helped me through the whole process of picking out the unit and moving in.

The location is great and. Wry clean. Feel is safe and never had problems with theft.

They literally ALWAYS raise the rates after a month at all of their locations. Will never use them again.

Dwayne customer service is one of the best in the entire state of Georgia, he's very knowledgeable about the business, explained everything in detail and was very genuine. I'll continue doing business with Extra Space Storage just because of him. read more

BEWARE OF RATS! We have rented storage space with these people since 2006. We also pay the extra money with them for their insurance. They had a rat infestation and didnt tell any of thier renters. We had to find out thru droppings on the floor, & all over our boxes, which left damage. We filed the insurance and they only wanted to pay a total of $75. This was unacceptable, the unit still has a rat problem, droppings are everywhere in our stuff. IF YOU RENT STORAGE FROM THESE GUYS BEWARE OF RATS EATING YOUR BELONGINGS! read more

I was really thought everything was good for a storage space but they "HOUND" you with emails and phones calls wanting you to do surveys and reviews. Made a reservation for a unit that we needed and came in to purchase, they had sold the unit to another person from under us a few days prior. We were guaranteed the reservation for a week and came in during the allotted time. We had to get the next size unit which was actually the same amount of space, just a different shape. The unit was also more expensive. We were then told that both I and my in-laws would receive a $50 credit to our account for the following month. My mother-in-law called on 12/01/2014 to make sure the credits were given to both of us. They had not been given and we were told to come into the office to fill out the proper paperwork. Once we got there, the staff was very rude. I explained that we had been having a terrible experience and they said nothing about it. ON TOP OF THAT, we were told that we could not get our $50 credit to the account, after we were told that we would. The gentlemen there were short with words and very rude. It's December, which also means Christmas time. When you plan for your bill being one amount and then it is $50 more, it is very frustrating. That's money out of our pockets that could be used as Christmas gifts for our newborn baby. We will be looking for another storage unit and will never do business with this company again.
