I'm only giving 4 stars because of the staff that was present. Just got out of a traumatic event…read morethat forced me to move all my personal belongings in a storage unit, so this was my first time ever renting. Went to the front desk to ask a few questions and buy some boxes and the woman up front had terrible customer service. She was kinda rude and made me feel like I was bothering her or something? You can tell she doesn't like her job. Skip a few months later, I'm moving out, finally, so I call to ask some questions and I knew it was her that answered the phone because I recognized her voice and her tone. Once again, very nonprofessional, and no customer service at all. But besides that I have no other complaints!

I have rented multiple units from Public Storage over the past 10 years, but this location provided…read morethe most difficult and disappointing move-out experience I have encountered. During my move-out, a custom-made table was removed from my unit even though I had informed the property that it was not abandoned and that I planned to retrieve it. Afterward, I received three different explanations from District Manager Ahmad, Property Manager Erin, and another employee about why the table was removed. The inconsistent information made the situation even more frustrating. Ahmad declined to compensate me for the table and described waiving the abandonment fee as a courtesy. While I appreciate the possible fee waiver, it does not resolve the fact that I no longer have my table. I was also disappointed that the conversation focused more on defending the staff and blaming me than on addressing the conflicting explanations or objectively reviewing whether the move-out process was handled properly. Based on my experience, this location needs additional training in move-out procedures, customer communication, and handling property left in a unit. Customers should receive clear and consistent information, especially before their belongings are removed. I usually choose storage facilities based on convenience, but I would recommend considering another Public Storage location--even if it requires driving a little farther. I also encourage Public Storage's corporate team to investigate this location's move-out and property-removal practices. Accountability and consistent communication could have prevented this entire situation.
