You communicate via text with various people there who say different things. You get a code to access a location for a visit. They claim all spaces are taken when spaces are vacant. You cannot come back with your own padlock later. I pass 4 other storage facilities on the way to this unit. It is worth the trip. Manager Theo And everyone else inside the office and out are attentive and courteous. The place is immaculate, I have never seen such a pristine storage facility. The bathroom as well. Customer receives a unique code to access the facility. You drive your vehicle in, and park on the right (see video). There are large lifts that you can put your items onto; they bring them up to the floor that your unit is on (assuming it is not on the first floor). You can then take the stairs or the elevator to retrieve your items. Unlike my last place, where you had to wait and/or argue with other customers for use of a dolly, there seem to be enough for everyone, and you check them out in the office. I was driving a U-Haul, and they helped me get in and out, which is above and beyond in my book. All around a great experience. I would highly recommend, especially if you have been underwhelmed by other options in the area.

This was my first time hiring movers and J & G Moving exceeded my expectations! The move went so…read moresmoothly that I highly recommend them. I price-compared a ton of NYC moving companies and J & G gave me a competitive moving quote. Additionally, the building I was moving into required a certificate of insurance (COI) and J & G was able to offer it for me for free. A lot of other companies charge for this. Before moving, I communicated with them via email and they always responded promptly and were very clear about what their moving package included. The day of the move, they called and asked if it was okay if they came an hour early. They were very communicative with me during the whole move. The lead guy (forgot his name!) assessed how many things I had and then discussed with the other 2 men on how to efficiently approach the move. The 3 men were over 6' tall and strong, and they were able to finish my whole move in a little more than 1 hr! I did not have anything that was easily breakable but the men treated my things with care. They provided blanket and shrink wrapping for all of my furniture. Everything was loaded up into their truck very quickly. These guys wasted no time. When I arrived at my new apartment building, they had already started unloading my things. I had my boxes labeled with what was inside (i.e., kitchen supplies, shoes, jackets) and they actually placed each box in the corresponding room. Best of all, there were no hidden fees. They ended up not charging me a processing fee that was included in the quote and gave me $40 off my quoted price. The movers were so friendly, communicative and professional, I will definitely be using J & G Moving again! I also wanted to note that on the day of my move, the street I was moving from was blocked due to construction. J & G movers did not complain or make any mention of that until I had stepped outside of my apartment building and noticed it. These guys provide excellent customer service and I was very impressed by them.

I have a really large television and they managed to get it off the wall with ease. Lastly they have the best insurance and they sent me the COI that my building requested (luxury building)..I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. In all honesty this was the best moving experience I ever had. I wouldn't have used any other company. If you don't contact them at least for an estimate you would be doing a dis-service to yourself.
