The units themselves may or may not have working lights for you to even see, yet the rates go up regardless. You have to pay extra for 24/7 access as if it wasn't already expensive enough. Mike Potts was a pleasure to work with planning our complicated series of moves and stayed positive as we ended up needing to add extra trucks, trips and stops to drop items with our children in Nashville, TN, Arlington,VA and Chicago, IL as we down sized. They managed to move the bulk of our things from Greensboro, GA to Southern Florida and Boston, MA. All this to say we got to know them quite well! We highly recommend Chris who is one of the managers if you can get him on your job. He's smart, a creative problem solver and pleasant under pressure. Moving days were stressful for us but he kept us smiling. All of the employees where professional and took great care with our things and our home. All that and the price was reasonable. Climate-controlled units were immaculate and it was very helpful to have the cart that was free to use within our building. Kathy and her team were super helpful and responsive. The two units I have leased were screwed up in their system from the start and initially caused a billing error that caused me a lot of heartache. What's worse is that the manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. She's quick to tell you how important she is and how many stores she manages, which is pretty shallow in the first place, but when an issue occurs, she hides behind her employees and doesn't return your request for a call - multiple times. I have no complaint with Irene and Robert, they have been awesome and actually knows who the customer is, but when you need to talk to management, they disappear. Also, very shady business practices. They will not tell you when signing the lease that they have outrageous late fees, $100 even if less than 30 days late per unit which is more than what I'm paying for one of my units. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR THINGS, because they will hold your stuff hostage even if they made a mistake. Awful!!

They advised the key had a lanyard/string around it. I was very perplexed by this because we have all keys that were issued to us and never have we had any keys with strings/lanyards around them. I went to the facility and thankfully nothing appeared missing. I called management and advised that my lock they issued must have been recycled because someone must have had a key and unlocked it. I asked if they would replace my lock with a new one. I also asked perhaps they were mistaken and it was a different storage room than mine that they found unlocked. The manager became defensive and said I was accusing her of being dishonest and that it is against their policy to recycle locks. She said she had a picture of my unit when she found it unlocked, and she knows it was mine unlocked. I asked if she could send me the picture and she said she no longer has it. I informed her that I am not accusing anyone of dishonesty, but rather that there must have been some mistake on their end- either they mistakenly identified the unlocked storage facility as mine or they mistakenly used the same lock on our unit so that a previous renter still has a key. The manager said they would not replace my lock and if I wanted to I could go buy another one and ended the call. Wow. I will be moving out of this storage facility. The mistake is on their end and instead of hearing me out, replacing the lock, they told me it was my fault and to deal with it. No thanks. I want a facility that is going to keep my stuff safe and then support me if there are issues.

So my wife and I stopped in and was greeted by Ann & Rick, what an absolute delight, Rick and Ann were so welcoming and friendly, great sense of humor and we connected immediately. it was very humid on the day we were moving into our climate controlled unit. Ann and Rick were driving around and stopped to see if we were ok. We lwere so hot, sweaty, and miserable, Ann's warm smile and Rick's quiet but friendly demeanor made us feel better and in a on few minutes Ann brought us each a cold bottle of water, we were so taken back by their kindness, and concern.
