They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. When I called to complain, they were incredibly rude and dismissive, blaming 'weather' (it was a sunny day). Avoid this company like the plague unless you want a leaky roof and a headache.

Extremely disappointed with the services provided and the disingenuous pricing of the work. I…read morerequested assistance with repairing a leaking sliding glass door and fixing a small hole (1.5" x 1.5") in my garage siding. I was quoted $450- $550 to fix the sliding door, and the siding repair was not included in the estimate. The repairman did not attempt to recreate the leak for the sliding door and suggested either caulking a small gap that might be the issue or replacing the entire door assembly. I said I would take care of caulking the door because I needed to clean the surfaces beforehand. We spent about 5 minutes addressing this. We then moved to the hole in the garage siding. Initially, the repairman asked if I wanted him to caulk the hole. Caulk seemed inappropriate for the repair, and I suggested using Bondo or something similar. He said he wouldn't be able to match the siding profile perfectly, but he could try. He also said he wasn't sure he could match the color, but he would take a paint chip to Lowe's to see what he could do. I understood the limitations and approved his attempt at the repair. I wish I hadn't; I would have been better off going to Lowe's, picking up some epoxy, and spending half an hour doing it myself. He said the paint chip he brought in wasn't big enough to color match, so he got a can of spray paint that looked close. I approved him to try it nonetheless and again, wish I hadn't. After finishing the job, the repairman gave me the invoice and said he came in at the low end of $450, which was confusing to me because that was the estimate for repairing the sliding door; we hadn't discussed an estimate for repairing the hole in the garage. I addressed this directly and was met with the response that "I have no control over the pricing, I just punch it in the computer, and it gives me a total." After including the cost of the spray paint and the credit card processing fee, the bill was $534.20 for a poorly executed repair of a 1.5" x 1.5" hole in some metal siding. That's absolutely insane. I would caution against using this company's services due to the poor workmanship and the predatory pricing. I tried calling to address this issue, but I couldn't reach anyone other than an AI phone agent.

We have had really good experiences with Mr. Handyman in the past. This time things were…read moredifferent. We scheduled for the deck to be power washed then a few weeks later to be stained. The power wash went well and pictures were taken of the completed job to have on file. It was explained to me that the pictures of the deck would assist the next technician to plan for the deck to be stained. When it was time for the deck to be stained, the technician arrived stating the job was not scheduled properly, the previous quote was incorrect and the job couldn't be completed on that day. After requesting time off from work, weeks in advance all I could do was approve the work for the time allotted. That resulted in 1/3 of the job (exterior deck) completed at the top of the price range. There seems to be a lack of communication amongst the team at Mr. Handyman, which leads to poor customer service. Now due to AI, it's very challenging trying to speak to a human to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I'm looking into another company who has provided Great customer service consistently.

He told me that the frames were in good shape which was relief as the windows are 24 years old. Eddie cleaned the glass, tightened up the locking mechanism, and left no trash or debris behind. Eddie has a great work ethic, takes pride in his work, and is a nice person. He also responds quickly and his prices are very fair. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience with this company! We had a leak in our roof with all the recent rains and were looking for a quick estimate and service to fix the problem before we had more downpours. Exterior Concepts was able to schedule us for an estimate on the day after we contacted them, and when the time came, Clarence Dove called to let me know he was on his way. When he investigated the problem, he found that the issue was a nail that could be fixed relatively quickly. So, he made the repair on the spot for no charge. Based on the company's honesty, performance, and customer service, I would highly recommend them and plan to contact them again myself when future needs arise. read more

My first impression of this company was on the heels of Peter Deily; he was very pleasant,…read moreinformative and detailed about the windows, roof, and siding it the company offered and the installation prep/process. I did not decide on contracting the company for my roofing and siding projects as I found another company with the same materials used and did the job for less then this company quoted. I decided in May 2025 to go with this company for my window project that included 13 double hinged windows and 1 picture window. After signing the contract, I was informed that I would be receiving a contact over the weekend for a foreman to come out and do official window measurements for the ordering of the windows. I was called on Wednesday of the following week by a gentleman only to say " I am 20 minutes out from you." I didnt understand how he decided to just impose and not make contact prior to set up an appointment as I was told was to happen. This was the beginning of red flags. However, we made it work out as I work and was not available for this impromptu measuring. On June 12, 2025 I was phoned to alert of my windows were coming in and to set up installation appointment. I settled for June 16, 2025 starting at 8am, if weather permits. I took off of work and had all window blinds/ covering down and furniture moved 2 ft away from windows as instructed; this was a lot of work. On 6/16/25 at approximately 945ish am I received a call from a female whom informed me that the installation had to be cancelled for the date as its raining. My issue with this situation was that the company (humans) knew that it was going to rain in the beginning couple hours of the morning and could have cancelled over the weekend to be considerate of my time and not have me sitting around the house using leave from work unnecessarily; the weather forecast is online. In addition, I had to get the window coverings put back up for security and privacy. The installation occurred on 6/24/25. The company had a crew that came out whom seemed okay. I had to request that they use foot coverings; this should be a requirement and something I did not need to ask. They started upstairs in the bedrooms. They placed covering on the beds. However while working they placed tools and water bottles on my wood furniture, which was a NO NO. I didnt understand the lack of respect for my property. The crew removed old windows that were put in when the house was built 30 years ago. As they installed I noticed the windows had about a 2-3 in gap all around. That was quite alarming if the windows were measured correctly. They sprayed foam as I was explained in the gaps but NEVER pur window flashing up as I was told they would. They put caulk up only. The caulking was very messing and large amounts on my newly replaced siding. Thet also cracked the siding on the rear by the light fixture. By using the ladder and thumping it harshly up against the house; assuming it was too heavy for onw person to move creating the behavior. With that created divets in my composite front bump out with ladder prints from the cross bar type thing attached to the ladder on multiple areas. Also they didnt clean up their mess. I called after they finishes to alert of issues. It took me a couple times and then I got one of the workers that came out. Then the owner. I was not too pleased with the owner as he rushed and overspoke me as ig I dont know what to look for and wasnt very pleasant and condescending. After speaking with the owner he came out tje following Monday. And later that afternoon it rained and water poured from the front bumpout kitchen window. I called owner back on facetime so he could see the activity. The owner came out the nexr day with the crew. He walked around and said the wimdow job looks nice but never addressed my window flashing issue. However the leaking window was due to the seals around the composite bump out beinh pushed and detached; consistent with the ladder pressing on it as stated prior. The crew damaged the window metal frame and caulked it in the living room. It was never corrected or fixed. It was brought to the owners attention as well. The crew resealed the areas. The messy caulk on the back and siding, the crew actually cleaned it up the day of the window installation. The crew left dirty hand prints on my white bedroom dresser and on the walls bear bedroom front window. The crew cut out areas of my window ledge and caulked over it and it was never correctes after bringing it to owners attention. Also all stickers and hand prints were left on windows. This should have been cleaned up. The crew did not clean up their mess as I was promised. Because of my experience with the seemingly condescending attitude and over and quick talking I will not be able to give a rating higher then a 3.

I hired Liberty Windows & Siding for a large exterior renovation project that included siding,…read morewindows, doors, gutters, and a portico. I selected Liberty largely based on representations that the work would be performed by in-house crews rather than subcontractors, and that quality workmanship was a priority. Unfortunately, the project did not meet those expectations. The initial installation resulted in widespread workmanship deficiencies, including improper siding installation, flashing issues, trim defects, and other items later documented by both an independent inspector and a manufacturer representative. As a result, Liberty had to remove and reinstall significant portions of the work. While Liberty ultimately undertook remediation, the process was prolonged, difficult to manage, and required extensive homeowner oversight. Remediation details were not consistently documented in writing, work was at times scheduled or attempted without prior coordination, and key quality-control steps, such as clear verification milestones and final walkthrough procedures, had to be repeatedly requested. Even after remediation, there were disputes regarding scope reductions, credits, and whether the project could be considered complete without a formal walkthrough and customer acceptance. I incurred additional out-of-pocket costs for independent inspections, legal consultation, and missed work time in order to reach an acceptable outcome. In fairness, Liberty did return to address issues and did not walk away from the project. However, the overall experience fell far short of what I would expect for a premium-priced renovation. Homeowners considering Liberty should be prepared to document everything carefully, confirm who will perform the work, and ensure that all remediation and close-out terms are clearly defined in writing before proceeding.

In terms of overall satisfaction, I rate them the highest for any contracting service for my home that I have used. A friend of mine has used him for his current and previous homes roofing. First, they are low pressure, helpful, and thorough. They took care of a problem on my old roof four years ago by writing a letter to my insurance company that I had no structural problems with my old roof it was just algae making my roof look like it had depressed some areas form the air in need of repair. They did not charge me for this so when it was time to re-roof my house they had built a lot of good will. In August, Robert Hamel, the owner, inspected my current roof, and attic explained my options well including improving the poor ventilation in my soffits. He also inspected my gutters for wear and proper slope. Second, they are a small local business that has been in business since at least the early 80s so you get personalized service. Bradley Company is not an out of the area company that hires a lot of temporary people when they get busy that may not be as good as their regular workers. The foreman on the job Tony has worked with Robert for years. You have much confidence that they will be around in the long-run and that their business and customer base is local. Third, best price and warranty. I got estimates from five roofers and they were the best both in terms of price and installation quality. Robert Hamel is a four star shingle master roofer and he gave me a 15 year workmanship warranty on my CertainTeed roof. No other offer that I received included a 15 year workmanship warranty. I checked with the Maryland home improvement commission and they have not had a complaint since 2005. The record of no complaints for 12 years with excellent personal attention, pricing, and workmanship shows me an exemplary record of customer satisfaction. A great company to do business with. My new roof looks very nice.

He offered some other solutions to our problem (condensation) and refused to accept any money. When it is time to get a new roof or skylights, I know that I am going to call Colonial again. It means a great deal to work with someone you can trust and who isn't going to try to sell you something you don't need.

After talking with him I was so impressed I decided to have all s3 of my vents replaced! He was professional and knowledgeable. I did this even though Certified was much more expensive ($1,885.71) than the previous company who replaced the original gables ($783.70)! I thought I would get just what I wanted and a professional job at that. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the replaced vents were the same vents as before! On March 11th I sent an email to the company owner explaining my dissatisfaction. A worker was sent out to find the problem. He listened to me and after some hogwash of a discussion did the best he could. Would I hire them again to perform needed work on this 36 yr.old house? NO!

Not very flexible or accommodating. Seems like they basically hire a crew to do the job. I wasn't happy with the customer service that I received and they will hound you for payment as soon as the job is completed. Unfortunately when dealing with insurance companies you are on their schedule. I have a couple of townhouses that are in need of roof replacement but I am not going to utilize this company. I also had numerous inquiries from neighbors in need of roofs but I'm not recommending their services.

Their presentation was very professional and things were broken down in a very clear and easy to follow manner. Their pricing seems reasonable for the work that they needed to do. Once we approved the work, Piney Orchard Roofing was able to get us on the schedule pretty quickly. The work took two days, but that was because of the extreme heat and we needed a lot of panels replaced. After the work was finished, Tony made sure to answer any remaining questions I had and that the work was quality. I will keep folks posted how things look a few years from now, but I would say Piney Orchard Roofing is an A+ company to work with.
