I just wanted to thank Jose Reyes for the amazing work on my roof. I had a leak at the join between the house and the bathroom addition. He came right out, gave a clear estimate, and was able to complete the work the next day. Even fixed some other spots on the roof I didn't know had damage. Very knowledgeable and professional. Even more appreciated as so many others in this area give you the run around on small repairs jobs. I'll definitely use Reyes Roofing in the future for my roof repair needs. I noticed some negative Yelp reviews. So you know if the repair hold up, I'll post again after the next storm. Jose took our money 3 months ago for a job that was not even close to completed. Meanwhile he's texting my wife asking her for "the rest of the money" before doing the work (he initially took an illegal 50% deposit). He told me I better pay him because he's a "nasty guy" when he's mad. Ok, so now he's threatening me simply because I wanted him to do a job before getting paid? Upon my publication of review, Reyes contacted us to offer a refund. Well, that has never happened and he keeps telling he has a license in both Maryland and Virginia, which is a pure lie. My Master bedroom had a leak and since Yelp had good reviews, I called them for a quote. Without getting on the top of the roof or checking inside the attic, Jose Reyes said it would cost $1200 to fix it. Since I had a tentant moving in soon, I reluctantly gave an advance a deposit of $600.00 even before starting the work. Since then has hasn't showed up nor is willing to return the deposit. I called him 20 times till now and now the number 240-706-6160 goes straight to voice mail. The first few times, he played a game stating that check didn't deposit etc. Then I told him that I have proof that the bank has sent me. This guy can't be trusted. So having my doubts, I called another roofing company and they got on the top the roof with a ladder, sent me pictures, video and said everything looks good except that the area where Dish was installed needs leak proof caulking and they did it in less than 30 mins. I am also contemplating legal action soon. read more

Called him at 5 pm and said he couldn't make it that day. I asked him what would be a good time he respond tomorrow Thursday at 10 am. I said I would meet him then. Never showed up. Called him at 3:30 pm and asked him why he didn't show up. He hung up on me. I called him back and told him him hanging up on me was rude considering he turned my day into a 19 hour work day. I called Reyes Roofing Repair for emergency tarp and clean-up work the morning after our bedroom ceiling fell in from roof leaks. Jose and his team came to the house within the hour. He first looked at the entire slate roof and took photographs. Then he showed me exactly where the leaks had come from and then showed me in the house cracks and other areas that the leaks are impacting. His explanation showed a great deal of knowledge about slate roofs. Within two hours he and his team had put up put up a tarp on the roof. He and his team also cleared out the hazardous debris from the bedroom, and put up a tight tarp on the ceiling. They also thoroughly cleaning up all debris from the ceiling down to the first floor. Next day rain began again and everything was dry. Insurance adjusters later told us that the tarp was very professionally and professionally installed, very tight. Thank you Jose and Team! read more

We had shingles fall off the roof of our house leaving a large bare patch. Rain was in the forecast so we needed someone to come out right away. Jose, the owner, came out the same day to assess the issues and make a recommendation. He was familiar with insurance issues for problems like ours and how to do the work to make sure we would have no problems. Reyes roofing service worked on our metal roof in June of 2019. I called him on a Saturday morning after noticing a leak in our family room. He came to our house later that morning and covered the area of the roof with tarp. He visited the house a few days later and stated the roof needs complete caulking and flashing. He recommended sealing all the joints with metal soldering because it will last about 25 years. He charged $8,500 and provided a 5-year warranty for the work. Four months later we have two leaks in the house because his soldering of the joints have all cracked. For the last 3 weeks I've been calling him to come and honor his warranty. Every time he promises to come over the next day and so far he has stood us up 5 times and now is not even calling back. Stay away from this company. They show up quickly for the original work to get paid. The work is of very poor quality and their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. read more
