Did excellent work for the wedding! Had an amazing time, and made all the guests happy to be apart of the experience. MC was amazing, perfectly bilingual, energetic, friendly, informative (with explaining Chinese traditions to the non-Chinese folks in the crowd), and she kept the whole night running smoothly. The music was awesome! Watching the guy work the songs was really fun. Did a great mix version of the electric slide, along with recent songs, or popular songs and artists, and even some nostalgic/goofy songs like that Carlton dance from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air song/dance. Made everyone laugh and people couldn't stop dancing. read more

My husband and I enjoyed working with ExquisiteNY. They always responded quickly whenever we had questions and they also made this beautiful montage for us. They were very accommodating whenever we wanted to make changes. They were fun to work with on the day of our wedding because they had such high energy and they knew how to work the crowd. We also had a smoke machine from ExquisiteNY that made our first dance magical. read more

Definitely recommend Exquisite NY for your wedding. We had Cathy as our MC during our wedding in August. It was humid, it rained but Cathy definitely made everything better. She goes through every step and every detail with you up until the day of. Cathy went above and beyond the call of duty. Theres a lot of things that we were worried about leading up to the wedding, but we can confidently say Cathy was definitely not one of them. She was extremely respectful to our families and extremely helpful during our day as well. She kept the party going and had our guests engaged and entertained. We hired a different DJ and she gelled with him perfectly. Definitely use Cathy if you can! read more

Never reply back emails. I sent a time to meet online for a consultation but they just ghost you. Communication seems to lack and drives away potential customers. Very unprofessional. read more

We decided to get married during spring 2020. Unfortunately because of covid 19 we kept delaying until summer and decided to do a virtual ceremony. We first thought of Cathy since we were at a friends wedding where she was the MC. We thought we would have to search a few vendors but after contacting Cathy there was no need. Before the actual date she gave us all the information we needed and was very quick to respond to our inquiries. During the ceremony she was very energetic and enthusiastic. My wife and I very happy to have officially tied the knot with Cathy as our virtual host. read more

If you are looking for a DJ/MC (Bilingual), you don't have to look further. Exquisite is your answer since they will go above and beyond! They made our dream wedding come true. Cathy was flawless and exceeded all our expectations. We had Cathy as our MC for our wedding and it was amazing! She was very professional from the initial meet up until the end of the wedding. We really enjoyed working with her as she was very easy to talk to since Day 1. She wasn't pushy with us when we were still deciding to go with Exquisite as our vendor. When our wedding date came closer to our wedding, Cathy was very responsive, checking in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. She even gave us suggestions and provided her advices on our proposed wedding timeline. I think we were able to connect with her easily, especially since she is very aware and knowledgeable of the Chinese culture which is a plus! So glad we took her advice because it definitely worked out better for us! We also want to thank Cathy and the DJ team for collaborating with our wedding party to help surprise us with their performances. We definitely were surprised and had such a fun time! It was overall an amazing and flawless wedding. We couldn't ask for a better vendor to work with! Thank you for the Exquisite team for making this such a dream wedding! read more

Our MC Cathy was so attentive to all the details for our wedding. IT was fabulous! We wouldn't know what to do without the help of the DJ and the MC crew. Our wedding required a bilingual MC and Cathy did a great job executing it. My guests were entertained throughout the entire night, the music was so lively since different types of music were played throughout the night to fit all age range. The crew really put a lot of effort and time to make your wedding one of a kind. Whatever you need, they would consider it and tried to accommodate everything you want. Honestly, if you are looking for a crew to make your guests happy and your wedding fun, they're the ones you should go. I'm so glad we chose Exquisite to be a huge part of our wedding. Do book in advance since they get booked up quick. read more

Very happy to have chosen Exquisite NY for my entertainment, MC and photobooth package. Cathy (MC) and Billy (DJ) played a vital role in my most important day of my life. They were professional, courteous, very responsive and catered to all of my needs during my wedding planning process. They are the jack of all trades from officiant services, to wedding planning, DJ and superb quality photobooths. They are one amazing one stop shop vendor! read more

This review is long overdue (because they deserve it!) so here it goes. Cathy and the team helped us orchestrate our wedding back in June. Every wedding day is full of anxiety and stress along with a lot of happiness of course! Advice you get from people is usually along the lines of, "expect something to go wrong, nothing will be perfect but it will be fine." I am happy to say we had a near flawless wedding and in no small part to exquisite NY and the team. Unless you are blessed with a wedding planner, you have to rely on your vendors to really help you manage your wedding. Cathy did an excellent job of MCing the night for us and moving things along. All of our guests commented all night and the days and weeks after about how much fun they had and how well run it was. Cathy also added a few touches to our slight Star Wars themed wedding which was a welcome surprise and shows how much Cathy and the team cares about their client's special day. Everything from the ceremony, DJ and photo booth was managed "exquisitely" by Cathy and the team. One of our favorite moments was a 5 minute video clip of our old pictures growing up and then pictures of us together while we were dating. Exquisite did an amazing job putting it together and really hit a home run. They did such a fantastic job that my wife's sister is also using Exquisite for her wedding which is upcoming in the next few weeks! If you are looking for a vendor that truly cares about their client's as well as providing an EXCELLENT service I would highly recommend exquisite NY. read more

My fiance and I got married on August 5th, 2017 and engaged with ExquisiteNY for MC/DJ Services. We went with Billy as the DJ, and Titus as the MC. Based on all the amazing reviews and feedback (and videos) we had seen on Facebook and Yelp, we did what any prospective engaged couple would have done. We met the ExquisiteNY team in person and were sold on their promises of an amazing Wedding Day. We did do our research and meet with other prospective MC/DJs but decidedly went with ExquisiteNY. Unfortunately... it looks like my fiance and I were the ones that were misled. Our experience and level of service leading up to, and delivered, on our big day was far from exceptional. We can say that they did show up and did do the bare minimum. Communication: Our in person meeting with the team led us to believe we would be able to reach ExquisiteNY for any questions around schedule planning and missing items we need to send over. We were also told we would have another in person meeting in the weeks leading up to our Wedding Day, but this definitely was not the case. Giving them the benefit of the doubt for e-mail response times (we assumed the team would be busy with other couples), we would wait multiple weeks to months for any responses. But as we got closer to our big day, the ExquisiteNY Team did respond much more frequently (every 3 - 5 days). What we did not realize was that many of our original e-mails slipped through the cracks and the team was largely unprepared. We did not have a final in-person meeting to finalize any of our documents, and since no questions were ever brought back when we asked, we assumed they were prepared. Very poor communication and very difficult to get a hold of anyone on the team. (Their # goes back to a Google Voice Number) Wedding Program: My fiance and I actually ended up drafting our own schedule because we weren't able to get any direction or guidance from ExquisiteNY. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps we are the ones who should be making the draft and sending it to them for review? We did just that and sent them a copy for review a month in advance. But that is where the trail ended, they did not give us any replies or adjustments... until THE DAY BEFORE our Wedding Day. This is definitely not something we would wish on any couple getting married, to have only a 1st draft of the wedding program a day before the wedding. Wedding Day: Not quite sure where to start... We've heard from all of our married friends that nothing goes exactly according to plan on the Big Day, but we did not expect the type of pitfalls we experienced from ExquisiteNY. For one example, as my fiance and I were taking photos with our photographer, Titus pulled me away to review Family Names (parents, uncles, aunts, etc) for formal announcements. This may have been a quick run-through, but Titus did not have the updated documents we had sent 2-3 months prior. Assuming this may have slipped through the cracks again, I went through my emails to send him the updated copy. Reviewing all of the names as well as the Grand Entrance sequence again, my fiance and I missed out on photography time with our Wedding Cake and the Main Ballroom. These names were then reviewed again with both of our parents as we lined up for the Grand Entrance. After the Grand Entrance, there was another major slip up with the above Family Name formal announcements. My mothers entire side of the family was skipped, and a few names from the brides side of the family were forgotten. We did speak with Titus shortly after this for him to stop the music and announce the family members missed, but this left a horrible impression on both our families and guests. In our first initial meeting, we had also spoke around games to be played for our guests (or even ourselves), but this ended up not happening at all. Our family, friends, guests, and ourselves were never engaged in any events other than the usual Bouquet and Garter Tosses. Summary: It does look like we are the odd ones out, and we hope no couple ever experiences what we experienced on our Wedding Day with ExquisiteNY. We're not sure if it's because we gave them the benefit of the doubt so many times, or if it is because they took advantage of us, but our family, friends, guests, and ourselves were very disappointed with ExquisiteNY. We did reach out to their team after our wedding to see if we could figure out what went wrong, but ultimately we were told it came down to 'factors beyond our control'. For the money requested and services rendered, we had hoped for at least a little more collaboration, communication, and delivery. But as per our contract agreement with ExquisiteNY, my fiance and I paid all expenses in full. We wish the best for any future couples looking for a bilingual MC/DJ, but please be wary. read more

Cathy and Billy were great to work with! From the moment we met them we knew that we wanted them to be part of our wedding. Cathy is so professional and friendly, she's an awesome MC. She was also our officiant and she was able to put together a beautiful piece that narrated our story, better than I expected. She's efficient and so easy to work with, while Billy kept playing hits after hits, our guests loved the music that we did not want the party to stop! Even after our wedding family and friends complimented how great Exquisite was and all the services they provided! read more

We chose Exquisite NY for our wedding in October 8th. We loved the experience! They offered different types of entertainment, sound packages, and any add-ons you can think of. We went with the Elegant Experience package, which included DJ/MC, ceremony officiant, a customizable wedding slideshow, a HUGE sound system with lighting, and awesome social-media-capable photo booth. The Process: Exquisite NY made wedding-planning so easy. Everything could be done via email and phone so we didn't have to take time off our hectic schedule. They plan every detail ahead of time with basically an interview and questionnaire. DJ: Our guests raved about the music. They created the perfect playlist of our favorites, just off of a sample of 25 songs! At the end of the night, our guests didn't want to stop dancing! Photo booth: The photo booth was so fun and easy to use. And social-media capable! Guests were uploading shots right after they took it! Awesome quality photos and topical props (superhero masks, emoji's, speech bubbles, etc.) Great for children, elders, anyone in between. MC: We were lucky to work with Cathy. We found an instant connection with her. You can immediately tell she's incredibly experienced in the wedding entertainment business. She worked seamlessly with our wedding hall Maître d' (Al from Crest Hollow Country Club) to make sure everything flowed perfectly. I'm sure they handled all the mini-emergencies I didn't know about. We had an American wedding filled with traditional Chinese family. I had 3 dress changes and Cathy was the perfect time keeper. Cathy was able to satisfy both cultural needs flawlessly (and bilingually). Tiger moms everywhere were reluctantly pleased. We were blessed to have her steer us the right way, because we had no idea half these traditions existed. I recommend Exquisite NY to all my brides. I look to them for all my party-entertainment needs. We love you guys! Keep up the awesome work! read more

The whole Exquisite team- Titus, Billy, Cathy were so helpful and attentive through out the whole planning process. They provided great service. Our guests loved the music Billy played. A bit of an overdue review as we got married on November 2019, but I have to say the Exquisite team really pulled through for us! We originally found them through our friends referral on our search for bilingual MC services. When we first met Cathy, we knew we found our match! She was so easygoing and you can tell she has a lot of experience as an MC. At the time we also did not have an officiant and to our delight, Cathy was also a tenured officiant. When she offered a bundle package with MC/officiant + DJ + photo booth, it was a no-brainer for us to book them... as long as Cathy was available to officiate and be our MC for the night! The final weeks leading up the wedding were hectic, but Cathy kept us on track through email correspondence. She helped with finalizing a schedule and timeline for our wedding day. We had so much fun on our wedding night and are so appreciative to the whole team at Exquisite for making our night so memorable. The photobooth set up produced high quality pictures and was such a hit with the guests! And the DJs kept our party going all night long. Our guests were raving about the whole night, which was only made possible by our amazing group of vendors, such as the Exquisite team! read more

From start to finish ExquisiteNY made our memorable event run smooth and flawlessly. Cathy was our MC and she was always prompt and very detail oriented. She walked us through every step along the way and made us feel very comfortable on what to expect. Always responsive with all our questions and willing to adjust and solve any custom requests we had. She was able to constantly think on her feet and constantly made decisions on the fly as if she was able to read our minds. Our maid of honor who could not make it from out of the country needed to provide a speech through zoom and Billy came prepared with all the logistics and covered all scenarios in case anything went wrong. The DJ kept the guests always on their feet the whole event, nobody wanted it to end. Overall, we are super happy we went with ExquisiteNY and we have the constant feedback from our guests to prove it --- even a month later the praise keeps coming in. Would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

These guys are AWESOME!!! They were very professional. The Dj was great ! The MC name Cathy was amazing! My guest could not stop talking about how great she is and some even wanted her to MC for their wedding. If you ever use Exquisite definitely request for Cathy! She was also very professional. She knows what to say and when to say it. From my past experienced from going to other peoples wedding. Their MC is definitely not as good as Cathy. Some of them were actually pretty rude and unprofessional. Made the guest very very uncomfortable .The Dj kept the crowd going all night long. It was simply the greatest. My sister also used them for her wedding also and we all had an amazing time. Thank you Exquisite Ny for being play a huge role on our special day and making it perfect! read more

Working with Exquisite was great because of all the services they offered in just one place, and all those services met or exceeded our expectations. We sat down and went through all the expectations of the night and they followed through, even when we sprung last-minute changes to them. Great selection of choices for the photo booth backdrops, props, and film. read more

Exquisite NY was a phenomenal choice! My wife and I had high expectations for our wedding and they absolutely blew our mind. Our DJ: Billy played an amazing playlist that kept all our guests engaged and partying. We received so many compliments on behalf of the DJ and his choice of music. Our MC: Cathy paid real close attention to every single detail leading up to the wedding day. She kept constant contact with us via email and made sure we had everything we needed the night before. Cathy really treated us like absolute VIPs all night long. I would highly recommend this vendor to any and all events! read more

We found Exquisite through a friend's recommendation. We are both Chinese and would have a lot of Chinese guests who wouldn't speak English so we wanted an emcee / DJ who were familiar with and could work with that population. We loved the feel of Exquisite because they are bilingual and catered to both our English and Chinese speaking guests without being too traditionally Chinese (since my husband and I aren't really that traditional). Our emcee was Cathy and she was wonderful. From planning to the actual night of, she was friendly, flexible, and so easy to work with. My husband had planned a surprise change of songs during the first dance and Cathy and Carlos (the dj) were more than happy to accommodate and give advice. On the evening of, Cathy was very patient with our last minute changes in schedule. She very enthusiastically tried to get our guests excited and involved without being forceful. We also had a photo booth through Exquisite. We loved the photo booth. Not only are the photos high quality, but Billy actually ordered travel themed photo booth props since we requested them and they didn't have any. Overall, I would most definitely recommend Exquisite to any couples looking for a dj, emcee, photo booth service that is easy to work with! read more

My wife was referred to ExquisiteNY from a friend of hers that used them for their wedding. We planned our wedding virtually from CA but Cathy was great to work with even from 3,000 miles away. She was really organized and put together a detailed itinerary which put us at ease (our wedding was VERY busy with multiple things going on). As our MC, she was easy going and made it comfortable for everyone to get on the dance-floor and have a good time during the reception. Billy, our DJ, did an awesome job at music selection and set it up in a way that made the night flow between dance music and slow songs. They were also able to accommodate an impromptu karaoke bit that one of my groomsman performed unannounced. They also provided us with our photo booth as well and it was a huge hit with our family and friends. Props included were great too. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for dj/photo booth services in the NYC area. read more

We hired Exquisite for our grandpa's 88th birthday celebration at a Chinese restaurant in brooklyn. Cathy is an amazing MC. She has tons of energy and has this amazing ability to switch from English to Cantonese instantaneously without any noticable accents from either end. Her energy level is insanely high and gets the crowd going at all points of the night. She made my grandfather's party an unforgettable event. Thank you! read more

If you're looking for top notch entertainment at your wedding look no further! Not only did they keep our guests entertained with music that all our guests loved, an interactive photobooth with tons of props, Billy and his team worked together with me and my husband to make our wedding dreams come true. Hubby surprised me with some beautiful fireworks at the end of the night while I kept hush about playing piano for him as we exchanged our vows. The team kept both things a secret and were there to not only set everything up but they also captured these special memories for us. Last but certainly not least, Cathy our beloved MC was a complete doll. She no doubt set the tone for the entire wedding. Her love for what she does shows and all the guests could not stop raving about how great she was in representing me and my hubs on our special day. Even months after the wedding she still remembers every detail of the wedding and I imagine she must attend a few in between lol. I'd recommend Exquisite over and over again. read more

Billy was very professional and responsive. His brother and him are a great team and were a pleasure to work with. I booked their photobooth, DJ and MC package. Our wedding was on 9/17/17. Everyone in my family absolutely adored the job Cathy did as the MC of our wedding. She was well prepared through the communication we had back and forth via emails, texts and conference calls. With only 3 months given to Exquisite NY for planning the wedding, Cathy helped us draft and finalize the rundown of the event. She and DJ Billy were accommodating to our every request and extremely thorough in planning the reception. read more

Wedding planning is extremely stressful, so when a vendor offers multiple services, it can definitely help make your life that much easier. My husband and I booked Exquisite NY for DJ/MC and Photobooth services. They offered many other services as well (i.e. officiant services, bubble tea pop up, etc.) Cathy and Billy were very easy to work with and were flexible when I had needs that were outside of their packages. Cathy was very thorough and always gave helpful wedding tips during the throughout the planning process. Definitely check them out if you're looking for any event-related services - this can be your 1 stop shop!! read more

My only regret with choosing Exquisite NY for our wedding is that we did not find them sooner! Our MC, the phenomenal Cathy, was a huge help to us in the weeks leading up to our wedding day and certainly went above and beyond to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. We met with Cathy and team at their office in Brooklyn to get a feel for the group, and they were welcoming from the very beginning by directing us to vendors that we could reach out to for all the random Chinese cultural items we still had to check off our list, and offering suggestions for the wedding that we did not think of. A few weeks before the wedding we had a check in meeting where we went over the program and got comfortable with the playlist, and throughout the last month Cathy was very responsive and in contact with us almost every day. Absolutely no issues for the wedding itself, and the DJ played a killer set that got all of our guests on the dance floor. True professionals, would highly recommend. read more

We booked Cathy for emcee services only for our May wedding. We had an American wedding, but many of our guests only understand Chinese. Cathy was a pleasure to work with and she was very professional; even though we did not book a full dj and emcee package with Exquisite NY. She was willing to work with our dj, whom we had booked with another vendor earlier. During our first phone meeting, Cathy stated that we're not just hiring an emcee, that we were also hiring a coordinator. I couldn't agree more- she worked with us on our reception timeline and music. She offered advice when we were stressed out or worried about something. The day before the wedding, she sent us a sweet email with a list of things to pack and a reminder to think about the happy moments and focus on the big picture. On the day of the wedding, she also acted as the contact person between the dj and the kitchen. You get so busy and you can't possibly keep track of time, but she kept us updated and when the kitchen was running behind, she improvised. She made sure we got through our reception timeline before the photographers had to leave. I would definitely recommend their emcee services! read more

Exquisite NY was great! The photo booth and halo booth were so much fun! My contact was Billy, he did my cousin's wedding and everything was great so my husband and I decided to book Billy and Titus for our wedding for March 2017. Everything went smooth, Billy was easy going and responded to my inquiries very fast. The slideshow was wonderful! I wanted to make small changes on the slideshow before the wedding and they had no complaints about that and made the changes for me. Our guests loved the photo booth and halo booth! The quality of the pictures were high. Guests were surprised with the halo because many have never used one before, so it was a fresh experience! The Halo does animated gifs and boomerang shots. If you book, you should definitely get both the photo and halo booth. The music was great all night. Billy easily attended to song requests. My dad requested for a Chinese song, and before my dad could say which song and he played it right away. Guests were dancing and having fun. Definitely contact them for your wedding or your next party! read more

There are so many reasons to choose exquisite ny. One of the main reasons is that we loved their style. We had Billy and Cathy. The moment we met them, Billy Cathy Titus, we felt like they can definitely provide for our kind of guests. They're professional, they are fun, they are cool, they are hip, and they can throw an awesome party. They always responded very quickly even up to the very last minute when I had last-minute changes. They were big on Making this the wedding party that we wanted. We had so many conversations (email, texts, phone calls) so they get to know you! They create a questionnaire to get to know you and in regards to music they'll play all the music that you requested including the genre that you're interested in. They know how to feel the energy of an audience. Never did they ever give me a hard time not once ( I learned that during my wedding about some of my other vendors) our host we're engaged and entertaining during our entire wedding! Her Chinese was so excellent, my in laws loved it. We also used their photo booth and looking through the collection, our guests had an awesome time! We loved the backdrop! They have so many entertaining ideas, I wished I used more but I decided ultimately not to- you should check them out and ask for yourself! Most importantly, Id Definitely use them again- and I'm recommending them to my friends!! read more

Titus and Billy really did an amazing job at our wedding. The dance floor was filled with people and everyone was having a great time. Good enough time that they continue to speak of my wedding and how amazing the DJ was. Titus did an amazing job with our program, everything was on point. I can not thank them enough for this memorable day. My guest were complimenting them on their song selections. They knew exactly what songs I wanted on the play list. The photobooth was also a great hit. Everyone loved the props that came with it and how to my it was to fit 10 people comfortably! Thank you titus and billy! read more

I had my wedding on September 30th, 2017 and Cathy our MC and DJ Ed killed it! The whole reception went without any problems. Cathy went over every detail(s) with my bridal party, grooms party, and both of our parents. If it wasn't for Cathy, I think my wedding would have been chaotic and stressful. DJ Ed killed it with the songs played to the point where he got my 80-ish grandma on the dance floor dancing with us! The whole reception was a blast and my friends and family are still talking about them. I HIGHLY recommend Cathy as the MC and DJ Ed if any future brides are looking!!!! read more

Exquisiteny did an awesome job for our wedding at TriBeCa Rooftop. The MC brought the crowd into the party and the song selections was great! All the guests really enjoyed the party and was talking about how amazing the party entertainment turned out. Music was pumping. Crowd was in tuned the whole night. With Exquisiteny providing the DJ/MC combo, we also went with their Exquisiteny Photo Booth which was one of the guests favorite things to do at the party. With options of instant emailing and photo strips, Exquisiteny provided great service and everything a bride and groom can ask for! Not to mention the up lighting that they provided created a fantastic ambiance through out the venue. Definitely a class act! Thank you Exquisiteny for making our day! read more

We decided to go with Exquisite NY because we had experienced their great service at our friend's wedding. Titus was their MC/DJ/officiant and he was ours too! Titus did an amazing job at our wedding, over seeing the ceremony and reception in a timely manner. He kept things simple and fun with one game during the reception (which was what we wanted) and the rest of the reception with great music based on our tastes. We corresponded with Cathy through email and she created our beautiful photo montage! She found the high quality version of the unique song we wanted and cut/looped it seamlessly so that it would be long enough for the entire montage. We are very happy with their work! read more

These guys are awesome. While my wife took care of most of the planning, Billy and Titus were super easy to work with and offered great suggestions. They took care of everything from the djing, emceeing, and overall made sure our wedding would have the right atmosphere for our guests. The wedding turned out to be super fun and they deserve alot of the credit. Whenever I go to weddings now I think what a great job they did compared to others and am glad we chose them. They also had great pricing for everything they offered. Highly recommend! read more

Cathy was my MC and pretty much the highlight of my whole Exquisite experience. Her sweet personality, upbeat spirit and attention to detail of the planning process was by far one of the most pleasant encounters throughout the entire course of my wedding planning. When other parts of my wedding planning was starting to get stressful and the nerves were starting to get to me, she patiently spent over 2 hours on the phone with me to run down the schedule. Cathy surpassed the role of the MC and offered so much support and guidance on the other little wedding details I would've otherwise overlooked. She was amazing throughout the reception, brought the crowd their feet in both English and Cantonese, with the perfect balance of entertaining both the young friends/coworkers as well as the older generation chinese families. The photo slideshow was a really nice touch that showcased her work and responsiveness to requests. When the sound unexpectly didn't work, the DJ was quick to improvise, still managing to sync up the music to the slide show last minute. No regrets on choosing Cathy and Exquisite for our big night, they were great! read more
