We hired Cathy as our Emcee since we needed a bilingual speaker for our wedding. She did an amazing job coordinating with our DJ whom she never worked with before. She also really guided us on what would happen next and options we have on what we want to do the day off. The day of, everything went smoothly. She also was able to add things into the schedule that I didn't know I needed and was able to do, like a practice run of our coordinated first dance! Our family and friends praised her as well! She was clear and kept everyone moving during group photos and kept the party going as well! Couldn't recommend her enough!

The glowing reviews and cozy ambiance immediately drew us in, so we decided to enjoy a quiet, authentic Georgian dinner. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted and seated, and we were immediately captivated by the beautiful artwork from Georgia. Our waiter was friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the various dishes on the menu. The owner also came over to personally welcome us and shared the proper way to eat Khinkali--Georgian beef soup dumplings. She even suggested we try the dumplings fried rather than steamed, and offered to take them back to the kitchen to make the change. The fried dumplings were incredible, with the butter adding a rich, delicious flavor to the beef filling. We also tried the Mitvadi, which featured tender pork chunks slowly cooked over charcoal, and the Chalagaji, a plate of perfectly cooked baby lamb chops that were as tender as they were flavorful. We're definitely looking forward to returning to sample more Georgian dishes and perhaps enjoy a meal accompanied by live music next time.

Expectations were high based on good reviews, the menu, and the pictures, but unfortunately it turned out to be a 3-star experience :( Good The food was mostly very tasty and delightful. Some dishes were truly delicious (Khachapuri Adjaruli and Megruli, Elarji), others were good with some flaws. See details on each dish at the bottom. The atmosphere and ambience on the patio were nice. Bad We were seated on backyard patio, at metal tables with perforated surface with no table cloth. Later in the evening the oil from khachapuri dripped through the table holes and stained our clothes. Metal chairs were uneven with no pillows. The umbrellas above the tables were shabby with holes on top. I pre-ordered few appetizers and a bread. Appetizers were on the table and there were number of flies sitting on them which immediately made a bad impression. There was no bread and we didn't get it until much later when we were already eating. They didn't have any still or just tap water and no non-sparkling soft drinks except home-made "compote" from feijoa. No juice, no lemonade. One of us had to go out to a grocery store to buy some juice for kids. They only had Georgian mineral sparkling water "Borjomi". I don't mind "Borjomi", but kids won't drink it! For each bottle of Borjomi (small) we got charged $5. The entrees came all at different times so some people were eating and others were watching. At the end we were told there was no dessert available. None. The prices on some dishes were ridiculously high and all prices were substantially higher than ones listed on restaurant's website. The most bizarre prices were on chicken shish kebab of 5 pieces (big) at $20 with no side included, the side of French fries at $10, and pkhali trio (three little rolls of Georgian salads) at $22(!). Food ordered Adjapsandali (eggplant salad) - though looking good it was plain and tasteless. I tried the dish before in many different places and this adjapsandali was by far the worst. Pkhali trio (three little rolls of Georgian salads) - these were good, like you would usually get in a Georgian restaurant. Bazhe (walnut dipping sauce) with Chicken - the bazhe itself (sauce) was delicious and perfect. Chicken was dry, tough, and had a lot of bones. Elarji (Georgian cheese baked with corn flour) - this was excellent and was gone in no time! Best elarji I tried so far! Khachapuri Adjaruli - fresh, perfectly baked, generously filled with cheese - it was scrumptious! Perfect! We had to stir the egg and butter with cheese ourselves though... I would come to this restaurant again despite all the bads just to have this Adjaruli. Khachapuri Megruli - delicious, juicy, with tons of cheese! It was somewhat salty, but I liked it and I believe it's supposed to be like this. Megruli Kharcho - kharcho itself was great with good amount meat. Some meat pieces however were very tough and hardly chewable. We ordered two of this. For some reason one portion had mostly good and tender meat pieces while the second had mostly not chewable ones. Chakapuli (veal with tarragon and herbs) - this one was good and tasty, like you would usually get in a Georgian restaurant. Nothing extraordinary. No side included. Shkmeruli (chicken in white garlic sauce) - the sauce was delicious, but the chicken pieces were so bony there was almost no meat! And the portion itself was tiny (see the picture) though priced at $24. I'm sure it could be done better :( No side included. Khinkali (Georgian dumplings) with lamb - the filling meat and the broth were very tasty and flavorful. The dumplings however were too big and hence had too much dough for the amount of filling in them. Certainly not the best khinkali. Chicken Mtsvadi (shish kebab) - chicken was fresh, tender, and juicy. Our kids loved it! Not including fries or any side with it was shame. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant except just for a perfect khachapuri.

Ceremony was beautifully decorated. There was a water/lemonade station set up but it was abit too cold/windy for that. It got dark real fast mid-service and wished there was lighting available. Good thing the photographer had 1 light pole for pic to shine on the couple but other than that, it was cold and dark sitting there for the ceremony. Spacious and clean hall. Cocktail hour was also in the same space as dinner. I believe the ceremony started late and ran late; so the passed hors d'oeuvres was already available for us hungry guests. Trays of hors d'oeuvres and champagne greeted us when we stepped inside from the ceremony. Dinner was good and decent portion size. I believe the staff was short staffed as they weren't available to refill water glass and check on the table as much. They did a few initial check (before/and after meal) but not visibly seen as much. Overall, I enjoyed my evening here. Oh yeah, only noticed the next day that we never got the platter of cookies/brownies for the table at the end with our slice of wedding cake. Noticed it on the menu but none was given. Left 10min before party end and nada. Maybe they packaged it all up and gave it to the couple.

She pushed for a certain font and style on the invites but when we got our proofs, we ended up just going with our original requests - we had to pay for another proof and it created more delay in getting the final product. The store closed without warning for a week when we expected our invites and we were not warned how long it would take to assemble our invitations. She did make it a priority during the week the store closed to make sure we got our invites. However, when payment was wanted, we were rushed to pay and received no slack for the delay and lack of communication. Wedding planning is a stressful time and vendors that hold your hand instead of treating you like another customer are much more appreciated. Lesson learned is to plan invites very early in the process and expect delays.

Apparently many people have horror stories dealing with their invitation vendors, but this seems to be a good pick if you want a hassle free experience. I made an appointment for Sunday and spent almost 2 hours going through binders upon binders of samples. Karen was helpful, but not over bearing and didn't rush me to make a decision. They have a good selection and a decent range in prices as well. A few things that annoyed me: 1) She is not open on Friday evenings or Saturday. She told me she is usually not open on Sundays eigther and that she basically was doing me a favor. I was told to come in on a weekday before 7pm. I'm sorry but what wedding vendor isn't open on at least 1 weekend day? I understand the religious observances thing, but then Sundays she should be open. Its really inconvenient for me to have to rush from work and be stressed about getting there on time. 2) She could have been a little warmer about the whole thing...I was by myself and could have used some input. It's overwhelming enough to have to pick just 1 invitation from a million options, but not having someone offer you their opinion, or at least guide you through the selection process is them not doing their job. To me it seemed like it was more about my budget (which is obviously a big factor), but then show me your favorite's within my suggested price range and tell me what your best sellers are. I understand that invitations are an individualized thing, but if she's been in business for a long time I'm sure she has a lot of experiences dealing with people like me. Overall, good vendor I would suggest using her!

He helped me make mindful edits and suggestions as an unexpected injury almost sidelined the whole event. His team was so understanding at pivoting all throughout the day. There were so many last minute changes that took place. They were such great sports about everything. They were super patient, very professional when approached and helped me with every change up needed. All of my guests had a fabulous time with DJ Winston, spinning tunes and giving out light up sticks on the dance floor (that was a very nice surprise). Winston was so easy to work with. He arranged our playlist perfectly. Ben, our photographer, was really super! He helped us with staging, posing, checked for optimal angles and lighting. Did retakes on the spot if it wasn't perfect. I really appreciated that. All throughout the event, he was running around taking shots, double and triple checking my pre-set list of must have photos. He didn't miss a beat. During our event, I recall seeing him on the floor, behind the tables, by the back wall - I mean he was literally everywhere! I think he was more anxious than I, about the photos I said I wanted as he reminded me a few times that I didn't take the few shots that said I wanted. LOL (No worries Ben, you did it, we got them all)! And kudos to our photo booth attendant, Jeffrey. A man of very few words but he was patient and took care of 70+ guests in 4 hours. He manned the photo booth solo and it ran very smoothly. Between the multiple prints for each person and those re-takes, he was so quick. (Some of us were caught off guard so outtakes and retakes were indeed a thing). The 40+ teens definitely had a great time taking photos at the booth. All of our photos came out great. Choosing the photo layout and card design was actually the hard part - we took a bit of time to choose. Our guests really enjoyed the variety of props provided, you could tell the had fun with it. The best part was the silver backdrop we chose for our booth -- it was classy and stylish. Loved it and it complimented our decor! I totally recommend Dynasty Weddings without reservation. I was born in the U.S., part Italian Catholic, part Jewish. My husband was born in China. We had a lot of traditions to celebrate at our wedding and Red Wedding helped make sure everyone from every background felt totally included, with music, activities, and live translation of the whole reception. From the initial planning meetings with Steven, we knew we were in good hands. He was extremely organized and attentive to detail as we walked through the full reception timeline together, minute by minute. He was a good listener, understanding the type of event we wanted, which allowed him to make very helpful suggestions for the programming and timing. Steven was very generous with his time in these planning meetings, and the materials he prepped and shared (timelines, song lists, lists of key persons to recognize, etc.) meant that we knew in advance that everything would go smoothly on the big day. We also really appreciated that May, our DJ, and Sisi, our English/Mandarin MC, took the time to meet with us in advance of the wedding as well so that we were on the same page with everything from musical styles to how to pronounce the wedding party's names exactly right in both languages. My husband and I also really appreciated how well the Red Wedding team worked with our main contact at the reception venue and with our month-of wedding coordinator, taking the time to meet with them in advance to hash out logistics and set out clear roles & responsibilities. All of this planning meant that the reception itself was nothing short of spectacular! The grand entrance, the first dance, the mother-son dances, the anniversary game, the hora, the dance sets - everything was flawless! Seriously, I have been dreaming about my first dance with my spouse at my wedding since I was a little kid and - just like the title of our song - it was Perfect. May did an amazing job as DJ striking the right tone for all the different segments of the evening. Sisi was absolutely delightful as MC - she was energetic and funny and sweet but still kept the spotlight on us and our whole family, keeping both the American and Chinese sides engaged and partying together. Multiple guests came up to me after the wedding to say how impressed they were with the Red Wedding team, and we heartily agree!
