To start off, Reema is the kindest, single most creative human being I have ever met. I am an over the top person with a huge imagination and she met it every step of the way. The florals brought me to tears and I can't stop looking at the pictures. Secondly, my husband did not get the point of florals until he walked into that room. For someone to take an old school Italian guy and get him to say holy shit, this is amazing I get it now, only Reema can do that. Last but not least, she is an amazing person. I can honestly say I have made a lifelong friend and pray that she doesn't retire before my daughter gets married 30 years from now because I wouldn't want anyone else doing her wedding. She and Jose made me feel special, loved, heard and understood through a pandemic, two postponements and a pregnancy and I wouldn't have wanted to go through it with anyone else. Jose can make me laugh for hours and Reema is my ride or die crazy soul sister in floral decor and I love them both. Thank you for making our wedding the best day of our lives. If you want your dream wedding, don't even think twice, they are the only team I would trust and I plan to have her do every event I ever have.

Whatever you do...BOOK THIS COMPANY!…read more Molly @ MR was our absolute hero. Sometimes, you meet someone you connect with instantly who is so genuine and kind, and you know you need them in your orbit. Our very first call with Molly was 5 months out from our wedding, and it was like breathing a huge sigh of relief. Wedding planning is hard and stressful work -- and there are so many timelines and articles on the internet telling you you are always behind on something. To have a friendly face on our team who was there support us, tell us we're doing great, give us our own PERSONAL timelines, coordinate with our vendors, be there for all of our questions -- was something we were so grateful to have. We booked their coordination package, and will never forget Molly saying that at 60 days out, their goal is for us to enjoy the days leading up to the wedding rather than feel stressed. You don't get those days back! That really stuck with us and rang true! On the day of the wedding, Molly and Mina were on top of everything. We saw them running around and working hard, but somehow Molly was always there when I turned around needed her for a hug, or a smile, or a tide pen, or a much needed glass of champagne. She is incredibly committed but also calm, cool and collected. If you're planning a wedding, you will be in the best hands with Modern Rebel. She balanced grace and accountability so beautifully: offering patience when we slipped behind, but also gently keeping us on track so that nothing was left to the last minute. She was never just a planner; she was a partner, a sounding board, and a calm, grounding presence in the whirlwind of planning. She listens deeply to your vision and hopes for your wedding, and she starts pulling ideas from all her wisdom. We wanted some who was: Organized, task orientated, managed events in various settings, someone who took charge. We also wanted someone who understood how important it was to incorporate our cultures together, who will get how to blend tradition with modern and keep our integrity. What we got was this and so much more: Raquel met every single thing and more!! After a month of searching and several failed interviews I was recommended Raquel. I had no background info on her or her company but I was willing to give it try. Within hours of emailing her we set a time for a call and we hit it off! Raquel was straight forward, she explained that she has been in the wedding business for many many years but 2021 she was going to start out on her own. She provided me with info of her employer knowing well that I could have gone to them instead, but she was extremely transparent and we really appreciate that. She then led with her background in management and event planning. We spoke about being BIPOC and how important that is to her and the clients she serves. We hit it off within 5 minutes on the phone, I gave her my vision of mixing Mexican/Ecuadorian cultures with a modern twist and she was on it. She was coming with ideas that I also had and I knew then that she was the one to make our wedding a reality. We started planning in Nov 2020 and married in Oct 2021. Raquel was always communicating with us, searched vendors for us, handled the contracts and communication, had deadlines set up, kept us in budget. We were on a shared google drive that had every detail of our wedding. She was readily available leading to the month before, she was a text, call away. She kept it real, she knew when to say "hey maybe we can try something else out" I loved it, she had a back up plan for everything! She also kept in mind our families and how important it was to show our families how a 1st generation couple can still keep our roots but also embrace our cultural backgrounds. Raquel was a true blessing. On the big day she and her team were amazing, always made sure I was happy and taken cared of. Things probably went wrong but I had no idea, that's how smooth the day went for us. We spent many months planning this wedding Raquel has become much more than our planner but a true friend, she had our backs and we wish her all the best in her company. We are truly honored to have had Just Say Yes conduct our wedding!!!!

I will say the ball like centerpiece and my table cascading flowers were beautiful but it stops there. Yes she is sweet but she is also very busy. Very hard to get a timely appointment, but i guess that's understandable. Regarding my wedding , she provided me fake flowers when i was greeting each guest table i noticed real flowers were mixed with fake, when i paid for REAL. No where on my contract does it state fake flowers will be used, but on my wedding day at mother in-law table once i got close up it looked so thick so I leaned in close, and I touched it just to make sure it was fake because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was in a state of total disbelief. Now during my mock up she did use a mix of fake flowers but she told me that she didn't have enough fresh flowers in the store to finish the mock up, and I thought that was the reason she used fake flowers during the mock up. Keep in mind I'm near sighted I didn't have my glasses on so I had to get close up of everything. At the venue a lot of the the center peices looked like they were thrown together very sloppy it didn't even look like my vision or what she showed me in the store for my mock up it was sooo sloppy. Some of the centerpieces even leaned to the side the halo centerpieces had gaps it looked flowers was missing like it wasn't enough flowers. At the top of some of my centerpieces they wasn't even finish even underneath them. I have a picture actually a video that I took of the centerpieces. My bridesmaid bouquets seems rushed and whatever dye that was use dripped on the girls dress and had pink stains all on their dress. It was like it needed more time to dry or something. Now The size was totally off the bouquets she delivered were nice but very small it was not the size bouquets I paid for or the Bouquet I showed her in the pictures the size was totally off it looked like junior bridesmaid Bouquets . I've been thinking if I should sue her I'm still undecided i paid a little more then 6k I'm hurt

I didn't know exactly what a wedding planner did or if I needed one. Trust me you need a wedding planner especially Ashley! My husband and I refer to her as our angel, she made every stressful moment melt away. Ashley basically choreographs the evening from beginning to end, she makes sure everything gets delivered on time, staff is present, wedding favors, decorations, guestbook, polaroid cameras everything is accounted for. She makes sure the place settings are perfect that all name tags are in the right spot at the right table, that my husband and I are comfortable the entire night and that guests have everything they need. What doesn't she do? She starts planning with you months in advance, she gave us a timeline with due dates so we knew what we needed to be accountable for, I loved this. On your wedding day she is the first one there and the last one to leave making sure everything gets broken down swept up and left cleaner than you found it. I was so nervous the day of my wedding I forgot to bring my vows she had them printed on site. She was available at all times throughout the planning process. I was late in the game to find a dress and she came with me so I didn't have to go alone. We were in the heart of Brooklyn running around in the rain and we found my dream dress. I can't say enough great things about her, she is just a real down to earth hard working woman who is smart, sweet, and the kind of person you want to have at your side when you want your day to be perfect. She is very organized, has a great understanding of where to go based on the style of dress you're looking for, has great recommendations for veils, flowers, music, photography, really anything you need. A few times I was worried about sticking within my budget and she was very helpful to research with me in order to stick to that. Our wedding was non-traditional and she was perfectly in line with whatever we wanted to do. She encouraged us to make the day 100% about us, which really helped in the decision making process. After all was said and done I gained a friend from the whole experience. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone that wants to work with someone that has complete devotion and passion for what they do. She is the best, hurry up and book her...I promise every decision you make after that will be a piece of cake.

We had…read morea big wedding with 250 guests and I was anxious all the way up to the day of the wedding, but I was surprised by how much fun we ended up having at our wedding. I would say one big reason is because of Shirley who was there with us every step of the day. I knew I wanted a day of coordinators who are not only bilingual, but also know the Chinese wedding customs. We had many Chinese guests and family members who did not speak English, and this was the first wedding of parents from both sides. I wanted to make sure we have a good time, and our parents are also well taken care of since we will be too busy to tend to them. We had all our vendors booked before hiring Shirley so we booked the classic package. For this package, Shirley started working with us about 6 weeks before the wedding. She introduced herself to our vendors and made sure they had the itinerary before the wedding, attended zoom meeting with us when requested, and she was quick to respond to our requests and questions. Our wedding included elements from both Chinese and Western weddings, it was a 14-hour day including getting ready, gatecrashing, two tea ceremonies, photoshoots, a first look, ceremony, a quick first dance practice, receptions, and three dress changes (7a-11 pm)! With so much to do, we had a tight itinerary, and Shirley made sure the right people was at the right place at the right time so we are on schedule. She communicated with our wedding party on what's next on the itinerary, and guided our parents through the itinerary. Shirley did a mini rehearsal with our parents for the ceremony and reception introduction on the day, and made sure they were there to see our first look through the window without interrupting our own moments. We highly recommend Shirley to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner or day-of coordinator.
