Pre clean and post clean photos of ceramic tile and grout in our Master Bath. The employees were professional, considerate and attentive to completing the job to my satisfaction. The tile now looks nice and bright as well as the grout. In addition to the Master Bath I also had the seats of the dining room chairs cleaned as well as a 5x7 area rug. In 2016 my condo received significant water damage from the unit above me. Exquisite Carpet Cleaning was at my house the same day and removed all of the affected areas, treated the exposed areas and put in equipment to take out the moisture. Subsequently they did all of the repairs to my condo. You would never know that there had been any prior damage. Their work was amazing and timely. I just received a carpet back today which they cleaned for me and it looks as good as new!!! That says a lot considering I have a small dog that lived on that rug and had a few accidents. I am so pleased with the service we received today from Mike and Dave with Exquisite Carpet Cleaning. Our family room carpet was really stained when we moved into our house several years ago, but with two kids and a dog we decided to wait until the kids were a little older to replace. Well, I couldn't take it any longer and decided to take the time to get it cleaned. Even if the stains and high traffic areas were still there, it would at least be cleaned. I am AMAZED. The carpet looks almost brand new. I wish I'd taken before pictures to show how dingy our white carpet was. They did a great job! They were prompt and very professional and worth every penny. I'd be cautious when using Exquisite Carpet Cleaning. Several months back, I reached out to the company for pricing info and to see what results I could expect. I was very explicit and even shared photos of the rug that I wanted cleaning. It was a 5 x 7 West Elm rug in an ivory and grey zebra pattern. It was originally a beautiful rug but darkened with heavy foot traffic. I spoke with the owner himself and shared photos of my rug via text message. I was quoted $120 over the phone and told that he thought that I could see a huge improvement with a cleaning. He even asked who the rug was made by and about how much I paid for it beforehand. About a month and a half later, I followed back up and scheduled the cleaning. Upon pick-up, a carpet stain guard was suggested but I never agree to it. When the rug was dropped off, I unraveled it and there were leaves stuck to the design inside. And, the rug actually looked dirtier than when it was picked up. Not only that, but the invoice was double ($240) than I had originally been quoted over the phone. I suspect that the owner forgot or never figured out that we had originally spoke on the phone a few months prior. The invoice also included an additional $60-80 charge for a stain guard that I never agreed to. I called the number listed on the invoice and explained my disappointment. I received a call back from Paul and told him my opinion. He tried to blame the manufacturer and its price level (originally cost $500) for the results. He offered to clean it again, but I didn't agree since I suspected it's be a complete waste of time - based on what he himself said about the quality of the rug, I told him that I was willing to pay half the originally quoted price ($60), but that was all since I no longer wanted to put the rug back in my living room (it was now too dirty and old looking). He said OK - I mailed the check and it was cashed despite him guaranteeing a refund policy of "complete satisfaction or your money back." In general, this was a sketchy service and situation that I found myself in. I feel it's only fair to warn others that I would not recommend nor trust Exquisite Carpet Cleaning again. read more

I hope Paul and Debbie are able to view this message. Yelp users - DO NOT use them. I have had the most unfortunate experience with them. I would give them a zero if it were possible. Quick Version: They are horrible at communicating, impossible with scheduling, and will abandon your job in lieu of quicker and easier customers. They are a company which does not fix problems it causes for its customers. Long Version: Our basement flooded due to the storms in the Chicagoland area on 4/18/13. The city's sewer lines backed up, which gave us 5 inches of sceptic water in our basement. Our basement is unfinished with cement floors. Now we were recommended Paul by a family member. So they were our initial go to. Our basement started flooding at around 6 a.m. I had called Paul by 7 a.m. on Thursday. He said they could absolutely do the job, no problem. In fact they had many jobs in the area so Aurora (our location) would be no problem. He referred me to Debbie (his wife) for scheduling. I call her, she calls me back. Because the water kept coming in, Debbie recommended to wait until the water stopped pushing through and allow it to recede as much as possible before they bring a crew out here. She said to contact her when the water stops. Okay, check. So we wait, and we check, and we wait. The water stops coming through around 11:30 a.m. I contact Debbie and Paul and ask them to come in and we are ready to have everything cleaned. We don't hear from them for HOURS. In hindsight, this should have foreshadowed the disaster that followed. However, after calling a few times, we finally get in touch with them. They say they are finishing at job at St. Elizabeth's in Naperville and our house was next. Around 5 or 6 at this point, we call Paul again to see when he would be done at St. Elizabeth's. He says this job is taking longer than anticipated and he'll contact us later that evening. Around 9 p.m. we get a phone call from Debbie. She apologizes as they were inundated with calls (understandable - we all got hit pretty hard). She says we're on the list for tomorrow. I review the issues we had - a large unfinished basement, cement floors, and sceptic water. She says she'll schedule me in for some time in the afternoon. She said if I don't hear from her by 9 a.m. for a specific window of time, then to give her a call at 10:30 a.m. Okay, check. Now mind you at this point we are living in a hotel, waiting on them to get us started on the clean-up process. Obviously I don't get a call at 9 a.m. Surprise surprise. I call her at 10 a.m. No answer. She calls me back at 10:30. She tells me she will send out her son and his crew as soon as he's done with the current job. She also stated that he was finishing up right now and asked me how far away we were in our hotel and how quickly we could get home. Told her we'd be there in 10 minutes. We get home in 10 minutes. Would anyone like to guess what happened? No response from anyone for 2 HOURS. Yes, 2 hours. Ok, so at this point, I call Debbie and Paul. Paul picks up and gives me his son's number. His son doesn't pick up. I call back from another number 10 minutes later. His son, Matt, picks up, apologizes because the job took longer than expected. Gets lost on his way here because he has the wrong address. He gets here at 1:30 p. Mind you, we've been home waiting since 10:40 a.m. So some college guys get here. About 8 of them. Apparently, they were not prepared. AT ALL. They thought they were going to pull up some carpet and suck up some clean water. At this point, I can understand - mistakes happen. A company during an emergency situation like this is flooded (pun intended) with calls, work, and jobs. BUT, rather than get the equipment and get a crew together asap, they say there is nothing they can do for us. They just walk out. Because they had some miscommunication between themselves, we are now suffering. Because of their incompetence, our home is festering with bacteria. They won't go to Menards or Home Depot to get the equipment they apparently are lacking. They don't even make an attempt to help in some small measure to get our home livable again. So here we are, looking for a new cleaning service and are at the bottom of every other company's list because we waited so long. Because we depended on Paul and Debbie (and Matt), we got screwed.
