Here is what I received.  But according to them I did it myself to get the same sweatshirt.

I bought a sweatshirt from Amazon really not realizing it was sold and shipped by Expression Tees. I received the sweatshirt and it had a cut or rip on the front. I contacted Amazon within 3 days of receiving the sweatshirt. I then received an email from Expression Tees. It was late when I got the email and my camera wasn't working on my phone so I explained I would get it to them ASAP. I sent it the next day. The company sent an email back with the question If I thought that they shipped it out that way. I sent them one back stating No I wasnt saying they knowingly shipped out a damaged item. I asked them to replace it with the same EXACT sweatshirt and stated I would send the damaged one back. Then this is where the craziness begins. They responded with no there was no help from them there. They accused me of damaging the sweatshirt to get a free sweatshirt. I asked them why would I damage my own sweatshirt that I would've been completely happy with if it weren't damaged. I asked if someone could call me. They responded with No Go Away Karen with a line through it and my name. I had no choice to go back to Amazon. They opened an investigation. I really hated to do that because I don't want to damage anyone's reputation. Today I emailed them again and asked if there was someway we could rectify the situation. They responded with NO, they called me a scammer, a liar, accused me again of doing the damage to get a free sweatshirt and continued to refer to me as "Karen". I pray that no one else experiences the horror that I have with them. The unprofessionalism has been unbelievable. I wouldn't even give them one star but I have to in order to post this.

ZERO STARS!!! This company does not value their customers or stand behind their products. We purchased a poorly made shirt and this company chose to not even try to make things right. I will never purchase another thing from them and I urge you to take your money elsewhere. I have a very disappointed 8 year old who wasted his own money on a junk shirt that is falling apart after wearing it only 3 times. Horrible customer service.

For the two…read moreyears I was a seller (never buyer) here, they've continuously low balled me more and more, but to avoid the hassle of shipping my "high ticket" bags and shoes to the big online consignment companies, I sold to them. Owner Olivia and incompetent staff bait customers into coming in via inflated text quotes and then switch the price of what they would offer once in store. There was no distinct difference between my item's condition and what was sent via photos and the texts confirm that. They tried lying and saying they weren't aware the bag model was a small when the text states it clear as day. The girls who work there are not fashion girls and know nothing about high fashion or designer items, so they can only Google and pick the cheapest item they can see and offer it to you to gauge how desperate you are for the cash. I will continue to bring clothes to other Plato's Closet locations, but will never do business with Style Encore again. Beware as they've also told me before that they had recent "incidents" of people successfully selling them inauthentic items, so keep that in mind when deciding if you do decide to buy anything from there. I never purchased, only sold and all of my items sold were proven authentic with receipts and confirmation from Entrupy. Olivia tried contacting me multiple times via phone and text message only after the review was posted. I declined her calls as I felt they were not done with the genuine intention of trying to remedy my concerns. While texting her during the buy, I let her know that I was not happy with how the buy was going and she did not choose to call me until after I had already left the store and posted the review. I felt and feel this was as a result of the negative exposure and as bonafide scare tactic. She also stated I made false statements, to which were completely untrue. I am certain that the one of the owners will "respond" to this review by either making false statements about me or discrediting my entire experience, but they can't provide proof of any of what they allege (ask them to). Screenshots (proof) of my experience have been included for review. Please parse the screenshots and this review to see for yourself who is telling the truth. The owners may also try to say that the original quote to buy the bag was from Dec 2024, which is true, but if you check the April 2025 text when I requested an updated quote due to the amount of time that had passed, Olivia confirmed that the quote would be similar to before and even sent a screenshot acknowledging the same payout herself. Therefore, anything Olivia or one of the other owners state regarding not honoring a quote because it was from Dec 2024 is utterly false. Lastly, this occurred in April 2025 and I ended up selling my bag for much higher than what she offered elsewhere, and so were a few of the other people I recommended to sell here after telling them my experience. It also smells very badly in there, and I'm one of many who have stated this. If/when you buy here, do be sure to have your items authenticated independently of them. If/when you do sell here, do be sure to keep this review in mind when setting expectations of how your experience will turn out. Good luck.

Passive aggressive returns experience just now. Young female was someone we never saw before so she…read moremust be new. Her attitude about an online return could not have been more rude and unprofessional: -Complaining about having to do her job -Tried to tell us that because we took items out of plastic bags garments were wrapped in to ship (that tear apart when you open them to try stuff on), that she was REFUSING to take the return? In brand new with tags condition? Really??? -Then when we pointed out tags and corresponding receipt line items, she was DISPARAGING us for taking clothes out of bags to try them on? Really? This has NEVER been an issue EVER at Sierra (or any other store) and NOWHERE does Sierra tell you you must have the plastic wrap from each garment to make a return. How are you supposed to try things on? Absolutely psycho worker here! -Going REALLY REALLY SLOW to be passive aggressive, such that half-way through the transaction, another cashier came over and helped FOUR PEOPLE in the time it took this person to do the second HALF of our return! -Giving that cold angry silence that is just childish and rude. I'm not visiting this store for a dose of this girl's personal problems dragged with her to work and spewed at me as rudeness! This isn't personal, Hon, it's your JOB! Grow up, really, just grow up! I was going to change my prior review to more positive for this store based on a number of better experiences between that and today, but today was just dreadful! This young woman has no business working in customer service. Whoever was at the register at 4pm on 6/15/24 needs an attitude adjustment, and a warning. Based on recent improvements I've been spending multiple thousands per year at Sierra (over $1000 in the past month, actually), but having to DREAD rude nasty people at the store to make a return? Hell no!

They always have great deal and a great selection. The staff are super friendly. I've been here…read moremultiple times and the last time I was here, I couldn't find the matching shoe. They were able to help locate it. I really enjoy how organized and clean the store is and they sell really good brands for a great price. Definitely worth checking out and it's a great addition to the Exton area!
