If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unprofessional. I placed a call with AAA, AAA put in a dispatch to the worst tow company. This is the one time I am glad I'm not sitting by myself on the side of CA 99 S. Express towing didn't care about our needs. Dispatch for Express Towing was super rude when I called to get an ETA on the truck to come out. Approximately 30 minutes later, a worker for Express Tow called saying he'd be 10 minutes away. Never came. On the AAA app, Express Tow stated they had arrived. Not true. I put in complaints to AAA. NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES. EVER. Even when AAA puts in a request for the customer, don't do it. Hector is a moron stated he remembered AAA calling to request a tow for us in Bakersfield, also tried to blame his driver Angelo. Then when he got back on phone after putting us on hold he said he had accepted the call with AAA even though it wasn't his jurisdiction but the call never went out to his driver because AAA didn't request the tow... like what? You mean you accepted the call and didn't do your job as a dispatch to dispatch a driver out... then when questioning his logic decided to just hang up. Rude and obnoxious not sure how the dude still has a business sounds like a crook to me thankfully didn't get any of my money just wasted my time waiting for a tow company to never come out. read more

This man Hector should not be in this business. He should not be a partner with AAA. He was not helpful, didn't want to help us in any firm. It was late night, we had ask for a tow which AAA sent him. Told us that AAA refused the service call because the registration was not in the member's name. Ok fine, but asked if he could help change the tire, his response is I don't change those tires. Why? Then we asked if we could use his jack and we would pay him, he said it was $85. Y car wouldn't start no matter how many times we tried to jump it we call this company in hope of them being able to tow my car to the dealership since it is clearly undriveable. The initial time they were supposed to get out to me was 2:53 which some how changed to 4:15 (which I was fine with) but now it it currently 4:30 and I have yet to receive any information about my driver or when my car will be picked up not to mention it is already to late to get it to the dealership I 100% would recommend any company besides this terrible establishment read more

beware of this tow yard. i work at a law firm and unfortunately out client was involved in an accident. this tow yard towed his vehicle to this facility, they scared an threatened him to pay $978.00 which included the initial tow, $70 lien fee and $590 for 10 days of storage. so he paid it. they kept the car at the yard for some time until the at fault insurance carrier finally accepted liability. they picked up the vehicle, they also paid $353 for tow (slightly higher than what our client paid), they paid the $70 lien fee and paid 44 days of storage totaling $2,596. They refuse to reimburse our client what he paid out of pocket as they double dipped. the man who answers is rude and hung up and is pretty much stealing our clients' money and take no responsibility. Worst experience ever... My husband has been waiting on the side of a highway for tow services since 4:30pm... I called insurance and tow company reporting on tracking claim online multiple times who transfers the call to the towing company stating the tow company has been very busy she will place me on orange status as top priority... my husband finally receives a call directly from Express towing driver claiming they just received the insurance claim (7:45p) and he will be there in 15 mins... Its 8:45p still no arrival, attempted to call back the 275-#### number that called us- # no longer in service... I called Roadside assistance through our insurance company to complain... So called Express towing (had to look up the company #) on 3 way... Express towing states the tow was canceled... we didn't cancel the tow since we are still Freak-in waiting for a tow since 4:30pm its now 8:49pm, Roadside Assistance Rep stated who canceled the claim and why did you not call it to confirm since they just spoke to the customer that they were on the way? Express Towing doesn't respond instead hangs up... Real professional!... as my husband has been sitting out there since 4:30pm endangering his life in the dark on the side of a Golden State blvd... At this point Express Towing and Safeco Roadside assistance are to blame my husband should have been home hours ago. Now when a new tow truck gets there.. we will have to get another one tomorrow to tow it an open repair shop, because who the heck is open at 9pm. So if your using Express Towing it would be wise to call the office directly every 30min- 1 hour to state your claim status and make sure they are on their way. read more

The most outrageously expensive towing costs I have ever seen. $350 to tow from the 99 to their yard. At first I thought they were nice people, but now I realize they were happy to be cashing in on my misfortune. Yard fees ended up being another 350 for 5 days and then some processing fees. I really don't know where to begin... I was stranded on highway 99 with a flat tire. These guys picked me and my family up and dropped us off at a hotel! Unfortunately the tow truck driver changed my spare with the wrong lugs and caused damage to my car... but these guys stepped up big time! I cannot tell you how much stress Hector took off my plate!!! He is an amazing owner and an even better human being! He got me a rental and repaired my car! If i could leave 0 stars i would, my car had a dead battery in december, AAA sent Express towing out, paid 217 dollars for a new battery. Well 2 months go by and my battery is dead again, AAA sends out Express towing again they jump started and said drive around for an hour to re-charge battery, i did that and the next morning car wouldnt start, called Express towing again since the battery has a 3 year warranty, a couple days later, spoke with Hector the (owner) and he told me his batteries never go bad and i need to take my car to a mechanic, so i took the battery out and went to auto zone, they put on the charger for 24 hours and the battery was at 5.2 volts did not charge at all, called Hector again and he said since i disconnected the battery it is not warrantied anymore and hung up the phone, this guy is a piece of shit with the worst customer service, Steve and Garret were awesome wish they owned the company, lucky for having AAA they ended up coming out and warranting the battery, hope this helps someone looking for roadside assistance to not use them there is plenty of other tow companies in the valley that are there for their customers. read more

They showed up 20 minutes before the estimated time and the driver was professional and clean! I've never seen such a clean cut, professional looking tow truck driver! Fantastic service! I have to admit due to the situation and needing to be somewhere at a certain time I wasn't as pleasant as I could have been but he was professional, quick and understanding. AAA contracted this shitty company to take my vehicle from point A to Point B which was less than 2.5 miles. Received a call from office to confirm addresses and type of service (they were nice). Got a time of arrival which was 50 minutes that would have put the driver exactly at 10am (mind you my APPOINTMENT set by AAA was 10:00AM -11:00 AM). Less than 10 minutes after the initial call from office I get a call from the driver (who claimed to be the boss) immediately questioning the service, asking why my vehicle was where it was, why my insurance wasn't handling it, etc. which was NONE of his damn business (which AAA agreed once I called them back to file a formal complaint against Express Towing). AAA knew everything and AUTHORIZED the tow. If there was an issue they wouldn't have authorized the tow to begin with, but no this a*****e wanted to argue. Talk over me. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Which is hilarious because their joke of a 5th grader website claims that " Our technicians are the most passionate and dedicated professionals in the industry, guaranteed!". This is 200% NOT the case. As he continued to be rude, argue, and not put the customer first, he claimed to have "cleared his schedule" earlier and was "there now" to do the service. The yard was not ready, I was not ready, as our APPOINTMENT, set by AAA, was not until 10:00-11:00 AM. He wanted to complete this at approximately 9:20 AM. That's now how appointments work. Then again, after the conversation that was exchanged, the driver ("boss")doesn't seem to be educated either in the customer service aspect of business. Regardless, the driver told me to call him back when I was ready even though he was out of line and way out of the appointment time window. AAA was contacted, formal complaint filed with AAA (as well as with CHP and BBB) and Express Towing was cancelled. AAA was great, on my side of this all, and got me a much more professional and better towing company to do the job in less than 20 minutes (Central Valley Towing - everyone take your business there and request that AAA use Central Valley Towing and NOT express towing unless you like a******s and shitty service). Central Valley Towing didn't ask me unprofessional probing questions or argue about the service as Express Towing did. After sharing this story with a few different friends and other drivers in the towing business, turns out every single one of them said the same thing: the company is horrible to work for, the owner treats his guys like shit, unsafe working environment/conditions and very unprofessional (simply read other reviews here or on Google).
