The stars are for the inventory not the service. Last year I bought a suit for my sons home coming event and the person that helped us was amazing ! This year I was back for another suit and the person who assisted us was ok but the person who checked us out was a B Earlier that day I was at the express in montclair and the person that helped me was great. $500 later I still needed a couple of items they didn't have so i went to the rancho location. My total was only $160.00 and when I told her my coupons had expired but did she have any to offer she gave me a dirty look And said no I told her montclair gave me one and she said their not suppose to She reluctantly gave me a discount. My question is this , if their not supposed to give them why do they have access to it. Not An employee discount or a unhappy customer discount but the one they can offer as courtesy Probably because she's not courteous I wonder if she would appreciate a courtesy discount when she shops read more

I love express and when I went there yesterday the staff was not friendly at all! This lady asked me if I had the newest coupon and I said no but I texted this number like they said and they never sent me the coupon like they were suppose to. The lady was so rude I told her I did everything they asked to do in order to get that coupon and she didn't help me at all. I love the clothing, but every time I like something, I have to order it because they only go to size 12 in store. I order it and if I don't like it, I have to return it to the store. It's a love hate relationship. But I ordered the wrong size, went to exchange/reorder at the Moreno Valley mall, but they were out of stock of the size I needed in the store inventory system. I went home, and they had one more online. I purchased it for more than triple the price, but thought I could exchange it when I got the new pants. I got the new pants and love them, but still had the bigger pair. I went to the store at Victoria Gardens, and the girl at the register (short girl with long, dark hair) decided she didn't want to help me at all. Said I'd have to return the cheaper pants, then repurchase them at the price they were selling for now, which wasn't that great of a deal. I told her that I'd be losing a lot of money by doing that, she just shrugged her shoulders and asked if I wanted to take back the pants. First of all, shouldn't she have asked if I wanted to exchange them for another item? I've worked in retail for the last 12 years, and you never want to just give them the item back or return. You always want to keep the money inside the store. She was very rude and rolled her eyes at me. When I left, I was on the verge of tears because she made me feel so uncomfortable and insignificant. I never want to go back to Victoria gardens Express again! Every time I go in, no one is ever smiling, no one acknowledges me at all. Very disappointing. read more

Today my family and I went into your store in the Victoria Gardens mall (Rancho Cucamonga, Ca) to return two pairs of pants that we had purchased online. After speaking with the manager "Jackie" decided we may keep them. 30 minutes later decided otherwise and came back in with my family to return them. This time worked with a nice young lady. As we were leaving the store my step daughter notified us that while we were at the counter making the return that the manager "Jackie" was telling everyone on her headset that my wife and I are "f@$&ing idiots who can't make up there F@$&ing minds". When I confronted her about it she told me that she was talking about a different person. Lol then changed her story and said there was an altercation in the back. We feel very insulted and don't think we will be making any more purchases at express even though that pains me to say because I love your products. read more

I'm a A List program tier. I drive to multiple locations because I love this brand. unfortunately, I had a horrible experience here at this location, they have horrible costumer service. I also take my time to do the surveys online to get 15% off, (yes, I know it's not much) but I participate on this surveys to give credit to the locations with great customer service. Well, when I presented my receipt with the code provided to me for completing my survey, this location refused, saying they don't accept surveys in this location.. I was what? How is that possibly if on there own receipt it indicates, your experience matters and provides the link address to the survey. The store manager and cashier made me feel stupid in front of the other costumers. I did buy my items but has made me think twice of purchasing at Express. Not sure if my experience at this store truly does matter. read more

Went here last night and got some on clearance. 29.99 plus 30% off I only paid $20 ea for 3 portofinos, I got mint, purple, neon pink pineapple. Excited! They have a decent selection of Portofino blouses. The line to check out was snail speed but otherwise it was a good trip. read more

Booooo!!!! Worst service EVER! Apathetic snotty staff. Especially the girls. This was last December. Long blonde hair and long dark haired girls were the worst. Both at the cash register. Horrible. Hopefully they don't still work there. After 10 minutes of me waiting for my turn at the counter, them making eye contact with me as I was waiting, I stepped forward for my turn. They started yelling at me and told me to get to the back of the line (no one else had been waiting until now). The "line" was another unmarked location that had no one waiting in it until they were done chatting. I had no idea or I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes patiently waiting for them to finish their chit chat from where I was standing. Not a way to treat a customer. I was in shock and for some reason I made the purchase anyway, even though I should have asked for a manager. It was rude, obnoxious and mean. I usually love Express but I've never been treated so badly in my life at this one. I will absolutely not be back. read more
