I took my vehicle to Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers for a routine oil change that resulted in a completely seized engine. After having the vehicle inspected, it was determined that inadequate oil was added to the engine, which directly caused catastrophic engine failure. An oil change is basic maintenance, and failing to add the proper amount of oil is unacceptable and negligent. This was not a pre-existing issue--my engine was functioning normally before the service. Now I'm facing extremely costly repairs that could have been entirely avoided if this shop had done its job correctly. I attempted to address this with the business, but accountability and resolution were lacking. Management has been extremely unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility for what clearly stemmed from their service. I would strongly caution anyone considering this location: a simple oil change should not destroy your engine. I deeply regret trusting this shop with my vehicle. read more

We needed a quick oil change and our regular spot was booked. Fortunately, after the tire rotation, the service was great. Sadly, after the tire rotation, the repair was poor. The oil change was pretty quick and we decided to also get a tire rotation. The service was great. Unfortunately, after the tire rotation, the low tire pressure light was activated. All tires were filled with adequate air so we assumed it was the sensor. The car was brought back and it was indeed the sensor, however, the supervisor was adamant the sensor couldn't have been damaged from the service and it would fall upon us to pay for the replacement. It took me three days to get the final word out of the manager's mouth about the price for replacing two lights. It was a "test drive" if you will. They failed it. They gave me an estimate twice. I won't go back. I took my vehicle with just over 20,000 mi for oil change. They looked and offered to rotate tires free. I sat in waiting room for work. The manager came in after 5 minutes and said "my guys should have told you, you need 4 new tires, there's no tread, we can't rotate". Recall, the guys had just looked and had decided to rotate. I checked later, my tires ALL had more than half a penny depth, all look really good. SCAM---I won't go back. Unfortunate, because otherwise I liked the place. Came and got a service, unfortunately we got lost in communication as to what needed to be done but after calling back and explaining the situation Bo and the manager on duty took accountability and got me right in and fixed. NO HASSLE! Thank you so much for your customer service and hospitality. At first I wanted to discontinue my relationship with this location but they went above and beyond without making me feel bad for a simple miscommunication. After a long week of traveling for spring break, it was a nice breath of fresh air to know my car was taken care of by people that don't just want money, they want returning business. The actual oil change service is GREAT. However, I would not recommend having any services done on the shop side. Foolish me for giving them multiple chances to give me a good experience over there but it has yet to happen. About a year ago, I purchased MY OWN tires and made an appt online to have them installed. I show up for the appt and tech tells me there are no appts, it's just an FYI that I'm coming in. What. He tells me about 1 hour for service, then I leave to go for a run nearby.. 20 mins later, I get called that they can't find my wheel lock key to take the tires off. I run back, find it in the car, then leave again. 2.5 hours later, service gets completed. Why it took so long, idk. Latest experience, I get an oil change & request tire rotation but say I'm worried it'll be a long wait since all the bays are full. Tech tells me a car is almost done, I'll be in & out. Oil change goes smoothly-they offer other services-no thx. I go inside to wait for the "in & out" tire rotation. My car goes straight back as promised. Different tech/desk person tells me I need new brake pads or something, gives me quote, I say sure. I very patiently wait another 1.5 HOURS, even walk outside to see my car lofted and tire-less, with no one working on it. I go inside and ask how much longer. Desk guy says "let me see if the parts are here." Okay, nobody told me the parts weren't on site when I agreed to this service. Good customer service would have been "it'll take x time for parts to arrive, do you want to wait or just get tire rotation?" Man did not inform me until I waited AN HOUR AND A HALF AND ASKED. Then comes back inside and says "they just got here, so it'll *just* be 30-45 mins.." I said no thanks, put the tires on & get me out. Otw home, I look for my wheel lock key in my glove compartment bc I no longer trust these fools--not there. I call and ask where it is--"check center console, check here, check there.. can you come back and we'll find it?" NO! You find it there and call me, you've already waisted 90 mins of my life today. My time is way too valuable! I get a call an hour later: "we found it, come by to pick up." And that is the LAST TIME you will see me in that building. Short review: Express oil change, yes. Mechanic side: hail no. If you must, double the time and/or drop off car for the day. Make sure you have all your parts before leaving. read more

About two years ago this was my preferred place for oil changes and tire issues. I believe they changed management or maybe just the front desk, but ever since then I have had 3 different bad experiences with getting my tires either fixed or, rotated or aligned. I thought I would give them another shot recently because it's close and convenient and I wanted it to be better. It was absolutely not. That's it for me. This is the third time I have left there after waiting for a long time only to ask for my keys and left. Never ever, ever again. And the guy at the front desk could give two f*****. Even if you have an appointment it means absolutely nothing. Oil change side I have always had a good experience so this review is for the tire side. However I will never step foot in that place again. Too many options around here to have hours of my time wasted. Wish I could give them negative stars. read more

Wasted my daughters entire day. Told her on Saturday they'd order the tires and asked her to be there at 9 am. Tires didn't get there until noon. She spent the ENTIRE day waiting for them to put two tires on and do an alignment. When she complained, the manager Trea was extremely rude and apathetic. Even after waiting they let someone else go in front of her for an alignment. Would not at all recommend this place. Also, while she was sitting there a women came in who had picked up a nail in her fairly new tires, they tried to sell her four more tires. Bryan was super friendly! Very thorough in explaining things. No hard sell on extra things but did offer some recommendations, but not pushy by any means. Everything was done in a timely manner as I sat in my car. I was maybe in there for 15 minutes. Possibly the fastest oil change I've ever had. I'll probably be back for my next. The only quirk is they have me to come back after 3K miles for a semi-synthetic. Something I'll have to look into. Other than that, their service was fantastic and I couldn't be any more happier! read more

Stephen and Tezz were absolutely amazing! Being a single mom it definitely helps not having to lug the kids in and out of the car during a routine oil change and inspection. They work super fast and prices are super reasonable and not pushy at all. They're upfront and let you know how much it's going to be and when/what needs to be done. I appreciate the transparency of them and not trying to upsell me on things that can either wait til the recommended service date per owners manual or if you've been hard on your vehicle and the service needs to be done now. Lazy people like me will love this place! You drive up and they ask you what you need done, in my case it was an oil change. Then they tell you which bay to pull into. You pull in and they do whatever you asked and you don't even have to get out of your vehicle. They changed my oil in like 10 minutes and I was out of there. They also top off all your fluids, check your hoses and belts, and take a look at your tires and other things that mechanics look at when they look at cars. They'll recommend other maintenance if it's needed, but they also will tell you which recommended maintenance isn't worth the time or money which I appreciate because I don't actually know and would totally be one of those people who are like, "Oh, my blinker fluid is low? Okay here's my money!" I calculated the cost of buying my own oil and oil filter to do it myself and it only cost like four more dollars to just have them do it. So basically parts and labor costs four dollars. And with all the fluids they top off you basically save money going here. Easy win. read more

I visited Express Oil Change on Tuesday 8/7/2008 after I had scanned Yelp to see what others have experienced when an oil change was needed. Feedback looked good, PLUS their online ad indicated that Tuesday was "Ladies Day" affording a $5.00 discount on an oil change. Being a "lady", I thought that was an attractive incentive. Fast forward to my oil change...I pulled up in the afternoon, and no other customers were around. Immediately, I was directed to pull forward into the open bay. Then, about 3-4 technicians surrounded my truck while I remained seated with windows down. They went to work testing and checking an assortment of areas on my truck. It all happened so fast! I assume that the oil change happened too. Anyway, everyone was very professional and courteous. I was also, upon my request, given an estimate for a future timing belt change, which I was already aware would need attention in the future. I selected the least expensive oil offered for the oil change, using almost 7 quarts of valvolene 5w30. They also changed my air filter for $18.99. Total cost was $70.34. Unfortunately, they overlooked my $5.00 "Ladies Day" discount. Hence, the 4 stars. I think I could probably have gotten it done cheaper at Walmart ..but, it was a super fast/smooth process, the fellows were nice, not pushy and my time has value..all in all, I was glad that i tried them out! read more
