I appreciated that a lot and came back, but they realized the nail in the tire is in a place they can't patch, and he said they don't do plugs at their shop. He didn't charge me for any of this and actually told me of a couple other places I could try IF I wanted to try a plug versus just getting a new tire right away (the tire still had lots of life left on it). I ended up trying the plug and so far so good, but I likely will go back to Mavis when it's time to get a new tire altogether. One star off because their waiting area isn't great and when you offer services that require more of a wait like they do, they really need a better waiting area. With a toddler it's hard to keep them from touching outlets or gross surfaces. Otherwise a fine experience.

On August 22, 2026, I took my vehicle to Express Oil in Grovetown, GA, for an A/C repair. The…read moretechnician diagnosed the issue, provided me with a quote, and told me the vehicle would be ready later that same day. Approximately 30 minutes before closing, I received a call asking if the shop could keep my vehicle until Monday because the repairs were not yet complete. I explained that I needed my vehicle that day. The caller stated that they would call me back, but I never received another call. I went to the location myself and found that my vehicle had been disassembled, making it impossible for me to take it home that evening. On Monday evening, I was contacted and told that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived, paid the service fee, and left. While driving home, the hood of my vehicle unexpectedly flew open, causing damage to both front fenders. Upon inspecting the vehicle, it was discovered that several bolts had not been replaced and that the hood latch was missing. When I returned to the shop, I was extremely concerned by the lack of urgency regarding what had happened. No one offered an apology, and a manager was not available to address the situation. I was asked to leave the vehicle at the shop and was told that a manager would contact me. I never received that call. The following day, I returned to the shop and spoke with the manager, Terry, in hopes of resolving the situation. He asked what could be done to make things right. I requested that my vehicle be repaired, that I be provided with a rental vehicle, and that my original service fee be refunded. Terry stated that he would submit these requests to corporate and keep me informed. Later that day, Terry contacted me and stated that the shop's insurance would cover the repairs to my vehicle. Two repair estimates were obtained. While waiting for the repairs to be completed, I was able to drive the vehicle. Unfortunately, after driving it for several days, the A/C stopped working again, so I returned the vehicle to Express Oil. Express Oil subsequently took responsibility for having both the A/C repaired again and the body damage addressed. Unfortunately, the bodywork performed by the repair shop they selected was also unsatisfactory. The fenders had noticeable gaps, and the hood did not sit flush with the body of the vehicle. I was contacted twice and told that my vehicle was ready, only to discover that the A/C was still blowing hot air. Overall, Express Oil had my vehicle for nearly a month while attempting to resolve the issues. I eventually contacted the Regional Manager, but my call was never returned. Additionally, I never received the refund that I had requested. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expected my vehicle to be properly repaired and returned to me in safe, working condition. Instead, the initial repair resulted in additional damage, followed by repeated repair issues, poor communication, and an unresolved refund request. Based on this experience, I will not be using this location for future vehicle services, and I cannot recommend it to others.

On 06/23/2026, I took my vehicle to Butler Automotive West, Inc. for diagnostic and repair services. I was charged $2,500 for the repair. Within the same hour of picking up my vehicle on 07/02/2026, it broke down again with the same issue that was supposed to have been fixed. When I contacted the shop to report the immediate failure, I was told it must have been something I did, even though the vehicle had barely been driven since leaving their shop. They refused to take responsibility for the failed repair or offer a reasonable explanation. I had to pay the tow service because I wanted it towed to my residence instead of being towed to Butler Automotive again. The business charged a substantial amount, did not fix the problem, and then suggested towing the vehicle back to their shop--potentially to charge additional fees. After paying $2,500, my car should not have broken down the same day. I paid nearly $200 for diagnostics alone; they did not even diagnose the issue properly. The tow man told me immediately that the alternator or the battery is the issue; it's the fuel injection system. I asked that it be checked when I gave them my car to fix, and they clearly ignored me and obviously didn't even do a diagnostic test, and their mechanics can't be smart. Butler Auto is A SCAM. Money-hungry liars. I cried to them, literally cried, begging them for help with the bill. I let them know my situation that I couldn't pay $2500 upfront, begged for in-house financing, and they refused to help in any way. Desired Resolution: A full refund of $2,500 for ineffective repair services. A written explanation of the diagnostic and repair process. Accountability for the immediate breakdown following service.
