He has a ton of options and incredible taste. He is an exceptionally hard worker with extensive knowledge and he knows that his job is to make you, the client, happy and to frame your art (or otherwise) the way YOU want. For a recent project, I went to several framers to get ideas of prices for a large number of framed prints. Gene not only had the best prices (by far), but he offered the best advice regarding the work and how to frame it. He spent hours with me making sure all of the details we correct for each of the groups of artwork. 5 Stars... no, 6 stars! It doesn't get better than Frame It For Less, in Florham Park!

I declined and still got attitude right until I left the store.

It is a pleasure dealing with a local retail establishment, owned, and operated by honest, nice people who are also true craftsmen and want to meet, if not exceed their customers' expectations. I really do appreciate Greg's expertise and experience when it comes to considering and recommending various framing options. Specifically, his trained eye for coordinating the style, size, shape, and color of a frame, as well as the glass/plexiglass options, for any type of artwork that we have presented to him. As an Architect, I am very particular and appreciate his high attention to detail. A distinguishing factor is Greg's low-key and sensitive approach to analyzing, considering, and then suggesting various possible approaches to framing your artwork based on your stated objectives and his knowledge of what may work out best. I believe that Frames on Main's total costs for framing work are reasonable and in line with regional competitors. In addition, for those who are interested in framed and presentation quality sports memorabilia, his Legends Gallery, located in the same storefront, has an extensive and fascinating collection for sale of current and historical signed sports photographs, artwork depicting players and memorable events in all sports. They also have some interesting sports equipment on display and for sale, including signed NFL football helmets. If you have a specific item in mind that he may not have in stock, he most likely will be able to get it for you. All in all, I believe that Frames on Main / Legends Gallery is a real asset to Chatham and the surrounding community. Stop in and see for yourselves.

Elaine does a wonderful job in helping you choose coordinating mats and frames, and she is also great about finding options to keep the cost down. They're expensive*, but well worth the money. I love how they look in my house now. I've come a long way from poster frames! The rest of the store is pretty fun to walk around. There's some home decor & baskets there, as well as a huge yarn/knitting/crochet section. Lots of scrapbooking stuff too, if you're into that. You want to know why? Michael will sell you a new kitchen, but it's all bait and switch. Once you think the project is paid for, you realize he may have charged you $5,000 for a new ceiling, but that was only the REMOVAL of the sheetrock - and now he wants another $5,000 to replace it! BBC's fees have been three times what we've been quoted elsewhere. We were told two old windows were a custom size, they needed to be special ordered - would take 5-7 weeks to come in and cost $4,700. Three days later we had a window company come by and say "No those aren't custom, we can have them here in 10 days" And what was the cost?? $1,700 - THREE THOUSAND less, for two windows!!?? Why was he charging us almost FIVE GRAND and LYING that they were special order??? We have had a plumber come and tell us the $1200 (3 ft) gas line they did was made from a bunch of pipe and fittings from Home Depot - they didn't even give us a nice continuous gas line. Everything needs to be redone!!! They show up one day a week, IF THAT. In 8 months, they have taken 114 (BUSINESS DAYS) OFF! So do the math, thats an average of 5-9 actually days of work PER MONTH. What's more New Jersey than New Jersey-shaped pasta or a "Jersey Girls Don't Pump Gas" keychain or a decorative sign with your zip code or town's name crafted from decommissioned New Jersey license plates? Paul Miller and Tina Bologna, Just Jersey's co-owners and shopkeepers have created a special place in Morristown that serves as a hub of the local community and supports more than 300 New Jersey-based small businesses. They seek out locally-produced products that are uniquely 'Jersey' and produced by New Jersey-based small businesses to stock in their store and website. Every product in the store and website comes with a story that Paul and Tina are happy to share. They also host periodic launch parties in the store to celebrate new vendor and products added to their inventory. To celebrate the recent Small Business Saturday, my shopping companion (.. in full disclosure, a Jersey Girl through and through who lured this then-New York City resident to relocate out to her home state ..) and I stopped in to Just Jersey to pick up her weekly fix of Cape May Peanut Butter Company's Natural Peanut Butter produced in a facility at the Cape May County Airport.
