As I was spread the scarf across my bed with the intention of folding it, I looked at the design and realized the beauty would never be seen if I wore the scarf. Next I noticed the colors in the scarf complimented the colors in my duvet color. I glanced at the large empty wall adjacent to my bed and decided the scarf would look much better if displayed as art. Moormann's Galleries did a great job framing a scarf. They are talented professionals with an eye for detail and a commitment to perfection. They meticulously pinned the 36" x 36" scarf so it would not sag or wrinkle. They showed us several combinations of frames and Matt's. The frame and matt they recommended are perfect. It looks beautiful. We are very pleased and returned with more framing projects. I highly recommend them. Deb Brookside, NJ read more

Do not use Moormann's to pack paintings of shipment. Not only does he charge way too much, but the quality of the work was mediocre. I took 7 paintings in for packing and Brian told me that he couldn't give an estimate until he did the work. He said that he charged $20 per hour in labor. In the end he charged $595. All the paintings were stuffed into a single box and they moved around when the box was tipped over. When I called to give him this feedback, he argued with me. He told me to try UPS or a moving company next time. I have used UPS to do some packing for me and they do a better job for 1/3 the price. I am one dissatisfied customer. read more

Brian is the worst business man you'll ever do business with!!! I gave him a limited edition Salvador Dali to repair a small piece on back of the artwork, all he had to do is add rice paper which I mentioned to him and he said he could do it easily and he is been doing this for long time, and promised to finish in 3 weeks. 5 months later after I kept calling and calling, he calls and says he is finished. As soon as I get home and open it I realized ho dry mounted the artwork on a black board, and simply just put it back into my frame and damaged the frame. I call and ask why did he do that knowing it'll destroy the value of the artwork, he said coldly "sorry I Fd up!" This man refused to share his insurance information with me, refuses to pay back for the money he took from me, he kept telling me that he spoke to the insurance and it's been taking care of, 3 months later after lies upon lies he says I'm not paying you sue me!!! He is rude, unprofessional, thief, liar, low life, and drunk. I'm attaching photo of the receipt and photos of the artwork after taking it to another art conservator and trying to save it. He doesn't deserve one star! read more

Warning Moormann's Galleries are crooks! Mr Brian Moormann and his employee Anna Orlova were just investigated and caught stealing art by the Mendham NJ Police Dept. My name is Peter G. Balazsy and I am a NJ Photo-Artist working in Polaroid image transfer works. (www.pbpix.com) Earlier this year I suddenly discovered many of my artworks being sold, without my knowledge, on Ebay by an Ebay seller, with an Ebay-store name of "foretimethings1812". ( https://www.ebay.com/str/foretimethings1812 ) I immediately contacted that seller via Ebay message, and asked where she got my art from and if she was affiliated with any of the local galleries where I have my work on consignment. She said she was NOT affiliated with any gallery and she claimed she bought my works from Bodner's Auction house five years ago but has since lost the paperwork. I asked her to call me and I gave her my web address info. However she never called. Then I contacted Bodners Auction House and found the EBAY seller lied about buying from Bodner's as they had no such record. I then checked all my local art gallery consignment contracts and determined that ALL the pieces she was selling on Ebay were the EXACT ones which I had placed with Moormann's Galleries some years ago. My consignment contract from Moormann's Galleries matched exactly with the works of mine that she had covertly obtained and was now illegally selling them on Ebay. The next day I contacted Brian Moormann at his gallery and he denied any knowledge of the Ebay sales stating that he "never would sell anyone's art on Ebay", and so he asked me to forward my consignment contract to show him which pieces I was in reference to. Accordingly I sent him, via Email, my Moormann's Galleries consignment contract copy for my 31 artworks and a link to the Ebay site. A few days later I called Brian Moormann to follow-up but then, suddenly, he acted hostile towards me and hung up on me many times! So I immediately called the Mendham NJ Police Dept and reported the case. The detective dept started an investigation and contacted both Moormann's Galleries and the Ebay seller. They investigated the Ebay seller "foretimethings1812" aka (Anna Orlova) and found out she was actually currently working as an employee at Moormann's Galleries. The Police realized she must have been lying about how she obtained the art, and they ordered her to bring all my art into the police dept and they made her take a polygraph (lie detector) test, which she FAILED. After failing the lie detector test it was determined that she had conspired with Brian Moormann to steal and sell my artworks covertly for personal profit on Ebay. The Police were prepared to charge and prosecute Brian Moormann and Anna Orlova for conspiring in the theft of art as well as a possible charge of violating fiduciary responsibility for artist's consignment contracts. So to avoid possible pending charges and prosecution, Brian Moormann and Anna Orlova agreed to return all remaining 23 pieces of my 31 artworks and they were told by the Police to pay me all $800 for the eight remaining pieces they had already stolen and sold. This week, I finally received my 23 recovered art works and Moormann's Galleries $800 check via the Mendham Police Detective dept. Brian Moormann and Anna Orlova also agreed to return another ten watercolor paintings which they had also stolen (and were selling on Ebay) from another, (now retired) artist, whom I was able to put in contact with the Police as well. Let this be a heads-up and a WARNING for all innocent artists who may now have their artwork on consignment at Moormann's Gallery. Brian Moormann and his employee Anna Orlova are thieves who were caught by investigation from the Mendham police detective department who did a great job recovering my art. All of the above information can be corroborated by contacting the Mendham NJ Police Dept. read more

Sir the owner, you are the worst in personality and your customer service. So many other galleries and framing stores that will be glad to do business with. Don't go to him, don't waste your time talking or going to him. He thinks he is above you because he works with gold leaf. Sir if we the customers don't come to you, you have no business. And by the way be a little nicer to your team who works for you there, you are only a way for them to have a job, if they leave you, you have no one to help you. You are the worst kind of a human being. So glad I am not coming back to you. read more

I brought in an old painting (painted at least 50 years ago by my father-in-law) to be cleaned a few months ago. I was a bit hesitant as I'd never done business there before and I was very concerned about not hurting the painting. Rich was very pleasant and we had a great conversation. I could tell just from talking with him that he knew what he was doing and immediately felt less worried. We were delighted when we saw the cleaned painting; he had replaced the broken frame and the painting looked beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rich again! read more
