This in not my kind of store. Too crowded, too many crafty goods for my world. I went in to get cheap picture frames for a museum show of my car photos. They have $8 frames which is less than than the sales tax on a small custom frame job. I rush in and then wait on line (registers always busy) to escape. They had what I needed. This review is for curbside pickup only, and I wanted to share that we had a great experience. We needed a few items as we get ready for the holidays and placed an order online. It did take a bit longer than expected to get confirmation but our order was ready for us the following day. Their systems are t the greatest so we actually had to call the store to ask for our order, and they didn't ask for confirmations or car make/spot Number, but we were pretty happy with the experience and would do it again if needed. read more

This store is on the shopping store strip mall that is Rt 46. Its always busy as a result. Always. So many families in the area that this store does great business. But, like other Michaels its well organized and well marked. So once you have navigated the parking lot, can be busy, you will be inside the store you know and can find your things easily. Checkout sometimes takes a little while. People love their coupons. 3 stars for this chain. read more

I wonder how much money I have spent at this Michael's on supplies for school projects and on ribbon for my daughter's sports teams???? Has to be a couple grand.... Anyway...this Michael's is always clean and they do a good job of keeping it organized. the staff is always pretty helpful, but sometimes you need to go find them as they don't have a tremendous number of people working. They seem to have sales going on all the time which brings the normally high prices to a more reasonable level. My only two complaints are I can never find what I come in looking for (but my wife just tells me that's because I'm a guy) and they never seem to have the right frames I need. Other than that it's a perfectly OK store that I will continue to shop in and buy from ... I AM however looking forward to the day that I don't have to buy any more ribbon... read more

This is a typical Michael's store. Great selection, but very overpriced. If you are looking for something specific, it's really hard to find it. There is not a lot of personnel in the store to guide you. A lot of times I find myself interested in something, but can't figure out everything I need for the project and end up leaving without buying anything. Maybe it's just me not being that crafty? read more

I love crafting and love that there's a craft store with everything I ever needed nearby. The prices are reasonable and there are always coupons every week on their website. The store is clean, big, and well organized however I wish there were more employees around the store who could help me find where things are. Usually the employees are at the cash registers at the front and no where else in the store. read more

It's been a couple years since I've raided the Michaels aisles looking for craft projects. But as I've gotten older and my interests have changed, I'm glad to see that I can still go to Michaels to scratch that creative itch. Now, I come here mostly for their custom framing department. I've had three frames made here and I am extremely pleased with the work they've done. Elaine does a wonderful job in helping you choose coordinating mats and frames, and she is also great about finding options to keep the cost down. They're expensive*, but well worth the money. I love how they look in my house now. I've come a long way from poster frames! The rest of the store is pretty fun to walk around. There's some home decor & baskets there, as well as a huge yarn/knitting/crochet section. Lots of scrapbooking stuff too, if you're into that. But of course, my favorite aisle will always be the giant sketching notebooks and Prismacolor colored pencils! *Note: if you're going to do some framing (or anything else in the store, really), don't forget your coupon! They mail them out, but there's also plenty to be found on their website. I would never be able to afford a custom frame without coupons lol. Also, it helps if you bring pictures of the area/room you're planning on putting your finished product! read more

Extremely unprofessional. Left the store about 25 minutes ago as they just turned off the lights with customers still walking around. It would have been very easy for someone to get hurt. Some people were so angry that they just dropped everything and walked out. I made them ring me up because I was so pissed off. I figured let them stay as late as possible since they didn't have the courtesy to make an announcement like a normal store. I think I heard one announcement about 8:30pm saying that they close at 9:00. The next thing you know it's lights out. Just unbelievable. Plenty of other stores in the area for arts and crafts. Love this place! They have a humongous supply of everything from baking goods, art supplies, papers, gift boxes, scrapbooking needs... just anything "artsy" beyond your wildest imagination. They also host art classes too. But the BEST part is their supply of "old school candy" e.g. Nerds, Sweet Tarts, Air Heads, Warheads, Sour straws... instead of trekking to Dylan's in NYC, I can get a taste of childhood here! Woo! Minus 1 star for the lack of employees (it takes me longer to find someone than buy something) + lack of gift bags (they only have ones for kids + babies, nothing appropriate for adult males). read more

Generally, I'd say this place is pretty great. Whenever I need something for a school project, this place is definitely the place to go. It has so much for you to be able to get really creative with so many different things. I've come here numerous times for several different occasions. Only things about this particular Michael's: the employees and the product organization. Some of the employees just generally seem pissed off/don't feel like talking to you. I also feel as if you can never find one when you need one, so you walk aimlessly around the store for half an hour looking for something that you could have found within two minutes had an employee been available. It's not the whole store, but some sections of the store are so disorganized it almost makes me nervous. Clutter in general usually only bothers me a little, but some areas within this Michael's are just ridiculously disorganized. Also, the prices are a little high on certain products, but reasonable for others. (Shirt paint, for example, is way too expensive for my taste. Pretty sure one medium-sized bottle was almost $20.) Overall, though, great place to go! If you ever need anything for art or creativity, they will more than likely have it. And if you come across the right employee, they can suggest other things to make whatever it is you're doing even better! read more

This is a large store with plenty of festive supplies. It's a great place to visit around Halloween and Christmas time. The framing business is over-priced, and even if you have a 65% off coupon, you'll be paying a premium. They fumble the language on some of their ads to get you in the door and to the framing counter... and will often not ask you what kind of glass quality you prefer (if you're using a large discount coupon), grouping you into the highest priced option. That said, the framing itself is of excellent quality and I have always been pleased with the end product. I recommend asking for the absolute cheapest frame, and then deciding if you really need museum-quality glass. read more

An o.k. michaels. Flower section is small in comparison to other Michael's. I've probably visited a total of 20 because I used to travel for work and took advantage to visit many along the east coast to try and find as much variety in their stock items. Their home decor section is neat and organized. Pretty large selection of frames and candles in comparison to others. read more
