I started looking online for engraving shops that I can engrave hydroflask and if their prices are decent. So I came to yelp to research and I saw "Expessed Engraving" had very good reviews. I read about it then I called them up and Bob answered the phone. He answered all my questions and I made the trip over there after work. I got there and asked about Bob and he remembered the phone conversation. He was really helpful and told me about their fair prices. I requested a date when I expect the hydroflask be done and I picked it up within a week. At that time Bob said that they are in the making of a really big project which means they have over like 300+ name tags they have to make so considering the time "Expressed Engraving" has to get that project done along with my hydroflask was amazing! I give this store a five star. That's not all, my project of getting a Hawaiian war club engraved for my Boss' farewell potluck was even time limited. I had to get it done in two days or else I don't give it at all..so I explained the problem to Bryce the engraver and he was so helpful and also Awesome to get it done in one day! If there was 6stars I would give these guys 6 for going beyond my expectations!!! Thanks again I will be going back to them for more things to engrave. read more

Mahalo to the guy who engraved my niece's ukulele. Sorry I forgot your name but thank you for taking us on last minute. We were actually flying out that day to visit my family and I needed it asap. He called us within a few hours even on top of all his other orders so we could catch our flight on time. This place is the best!!!! I will be back. I promise. read more

Great customer service and extremely helpful to create the look you want. I had a koa pen engraved and it looks great. So happy with the way it turned out! Have used Express Engraving repeatedly for the excellent and creative suggestions. Best of the best!

I was referred to Express Engraving by Martin & MacArthur to get some wood gifts engraved. I ran over to their store and was treated so nicely - great customer service. And free parking! I ended up buying a Koa pen there and getting the pen and the Koa business card case I had, engraved. They did them both in 24 hours - actually less then 24 hours. I really appreciated their personal advice, and friendly and fast service. I will for sure return to them whenever I need an engraved gift as they have great prices and a surprising selection of Koa products. read more

Needed to get a Hydroflask engraved as a gift. Searched yelp and the reviews were favorable for Express Engraving. Stopped by and met Bob Yanagawa at the store. Bob was very helpful in finding me fonts, layout, etc. with great recommendations. I've never done this before so it was my first time. Bob was super patient and knowledgeable. I got a email a few days later to approve the artwork and I was called that it was ready the next day! A plus for this place is that it has it's own parking lot behind the store which I've never seen full. I've eaten at the Korean restaurant next door a few times and that's good too. If you're coming down King St, turn right at Panda Express then turn left up to the parking lot. They do all kinds of engraving not just Hydroflask! read more

Long overdue - but I couldn't get by without expressing my sincerest thanks to these guys for having the exact plating, and just one day's work on a military name badge we wanted to put on my late uncle's uniform. It was amazing that they had that exact style Military men and women use and worked so fast. Their customer service is amazing! read more

If you saw my review on Aloha Key, then you know why I went here! Bob is awesome! I have a Mikasa beer mug to engrave and he helped with figuring it out. I told him that I wanted just my friends name which is 4 letters and he suggested the perfect lettering! He told me 2 days, but called me the very next day! I just picked it up and it's exactly how I wanted it. He wouldn't even take a tip!!! I am going there always and recommend them to every person I know. read more

We had a paddle that we wanted engraved for a gift. We had a idea of what we wanted, but weren't exactly sure. What Bryce came up with, we couldn't have envisioned anything better ourselves. And the name of the company is no joke. They finished our item much quicker than I expected. Very professional, very friendly, and easy to work with. Highly recommend, and we won't go anywhere else. It was well worth sitting in rush hour traffic back to Kapolei! read more

I give five stars only because six is not an option. I found Bryce and went to him when I could find no other shop that could engrave our logo in the bottom of calabashes (equipment limitations). Bryce looked at our requirement, did some measuring, and nodded a "can do." Since then, he has done more calabashes for us that I can count. If you need a rush order, Bryce will break his back to get it done and always flawless. He has never failed us and he usually delivers early. What more could you ask for?! read more

We decided at the last minute to purchase a Koa paddle and have it engraved so that it could be presented to an outgoing board president. From the moment I walked in the store, Bob was welcoming, patient and understanding. I explained our dilemma of needing a quick turnaround with the engraving. After speaking to master engraver Bryce, Bob returned and said the paddle would be ready the SAME DAY! I was so relieved and thankful. When I picked up the paddle after work, I was beyond pleased!! If you're looking for fast, friendly, efficient and quality workmanship, look no further!! Mahalo, Bob and Bryce!! read more

Perfect place for engraving Hydro Flasks! I brought my Hydro Flask in to inquire if they could engrave my initials or name on it, since I have heard from a couple of friends who've unfortunately had theirs stolen despite having put stickers on them. The clerk/receptionist, Bob, welcomed me with a smile and was very attentive, providing me with a binder of fonts from which to choose for my engraving. Bryce, the engraver, is so talented and actually gave me the option to select my own font from the Internet should I have found something I liked better that was not in their selection. Bryce and Bob worked closely with me, by phone and e-mail, to ensure the finished product was just what I wanted. Just about a week later, I was delighted to see my hydro flask with my name beautifully etched on it. It was so beautiful, I didn't even want to use it and each time I do now, I am so careful not to drop it! I am about to head back to Express Engraving to get another hydro flask engraved and look forward to continuing to do so for other gifts. I highly recommend this business for all your engraving/personalization needs! read more

I will definitely use their services again in the near future. read more
