I've been here at different times of day and it never feels overly crowded, which makes shopping way more enjoyable. The vibe of the store is great, and the layout makes it easy to find things. They recently added self-checkout, and the machines are always working, which is a huge plus. The staff is also consistently friendly and welcoming, from the greeters at the front to employees throughout the store. I also love that they sometimes do fun in-store promotions. During the holiday season, I stopped by when they had a hot chocolate station set up to promote peppermint marshmallows, which was such a nice touch. The other day they were making steamed dumplings which I didn't get to try because they weren't ready by the time I was ready to check out. Overall, this Target stands out for its organization, variety, and quality of items. It's easily one of my favorite Target locations not only in Brooklyn but in NYC.

A wide assortment of retailers including chain stores, fast food restaurants, food carts, banks and fights, (you're almost certain to see some type of disagreement. Waayyy) to name a few. Jewelry and electronic stores seems to be the King here with trainers store running a close second. If you're on a budget you're gonna love it here. It's mainly a pedestrian shopping street but buses are allowed and I've seen a few privately owned vehicles pass through as well. It's kept clean and WE can do our part by making use of the many garbage bins provided. I've noticed a lot of "closing down" signs on storefronts and I really hope it isn't another sign of gentrification. I hope they aren't pushing the little ones out for all big chains because I'll have something to say! **Thinking** Tip: walk up one side and walk down the next, don't be a hero (like) me and cross like a mad woman each time you see a store you wanna visit. I get to FSM using the subway. I sometimes get off at the Hoyt street and schemerhorn station but if you want to get to the heart of it, get off at the Jay Street-MetroTech station. Of course I'll be back! The End.

However, some changes have been made- the store now looks much neater and orderly, along with the fact that several items are now locked up and you'll need to press a button for employee assistance to open it for you. The lines are still long though and they will hold your merchandise behind the counter. You can find some decent prices, for a wide array of things here... just don't come if you're in a rush for time.

The checkout line wraps around the entire store and easily takes 45-60 minutes because they've got maybe 3-4 registers open. Meanwhile, floor staff are just wandering around, half-heartedly putting things back, not helping anyone. I get it, you need associates on the floor, but when the line is looping past the registers twice and stretching all the way to the back, that's when you pull extra people to the front. Every time I stop by (which isn't often), the store is completely reorganized and not in a good way. It's messy, hard to navigate, and I can never seem to find what I'm looking for. I've been to plenty of Marshalls locations, but this one is definitely my least favorite.

She said to look for someone who works in the bag section! I found the lady & she goes you gotta look for my boss to unlock! Almost 40 min I have wasted just for a bag to be unlocked! I understand people steal stuff, but why the rest of us has to suffer for other people's stupidity! I couldn't even see anything else much because I saw the line & it was huge already . Never going to this store again. I went to visit this store to help out a family member pick out…read moresome clothes for our Niece and Nephew. The moment I walked through the door, the man standing guard barked at me as asked me "What are you doing here?". What sort of question of that!? Obviously i'm here to shop. When I stated such, he pretty much tells me i'm not allowed because "Kids aren't allowed in here/you need to be over 18". I'll admit, I am shorter than my age suggests, but what should that matter? He even went so far as to subtly threaten me to leave, or else. Naturally, I took exception to that, and explained how bogus of a policy that is. Even if I was a youth, why should that matter? I'm here to spend money in your store, what does my age have to do with anything? What kind of department store BARS ITS TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC FROM SHOPPING IN THE FIRST PLACE?! I expressed how insulted I felt about his comments and rules, and kept telling him that I am old enough to belong. He just stared at me with such spite and hit me again with the lowkey threat. Frustrated and short on patience (I just came from a trip out-of-state and was especially tired...) I gave him my ID. Even with proof in his face, it still wasn't good enough for him. He pulled a Co-worker over for a second opinion. When the nice woman confirmed that my ID checked out (Shout out to her, btw. You rock!), it was only then that the Doorman relented and let me pass. I've had encounters with scummy people before, but I have never been so emasculated in public in all my days. To the entity who did that to me: Sort yourself out. Whether you're 13 or 130, those who walk through your doors should be treated with basic human decency. I was not some "kid" out to cause trouble, I was a Customer that YOU told that I shouldn't be gracing your store with my service. Do you ban elderly people from Arcades because they're "Too old"? So why is it ok to shoo me away because I don't look the way you expect? Shame on you, and shame on this store. You will never get my money, and I will recommend that everyone else keep theirs as well.
