I find there shoes department to be small compare to other locations like Marshalls Atlantic terminal mall ( across from the Barclays center) or Marshalls Bensonhurst , I've heard the Marshalls on kings highway near east 16 street and gateway mall near flatlands avenue and Marshalls sheepshead bay is pretty decent too in the shoes department . there a Michaels art supplies store , and five below and pet smart right across the street from this location and plus there a Trader's joe across from court street and Atlantic avenue and there TheRealReal boutique store around the corner from Atlantic Avenue and Court street . Wow! I literally spent thirty minutes in here.. that is a record. A sad record.. my friends what has happened to Marshalls? Did the pandemic force them to reassess inventory levels in brick and mortar? I confess, during the pandemic, working at home, I was trying to shop on their website. I say trying loosely.. they were not prepared for pandemic thus they had little merchandise to offer for the temporary stay at home employee. Now, post pandemic, it seems, online has oodles of merchandise! I mean I bought a Dutch oven pot, Piubelle ( my fave linen brand from Portugal) comforters and bed sheet sets for bargain prices. Winter scarves, gloves and hats from Italy. I don't know.. scratching my head as I write this.. What did I love about shopping in person? The gourmet food department where I always found olive oil imported from Greece, Pad Thai meal kits for $3.99, popcorn, spices, coffee.. I purchased numerous pieces of earthenware from Portugal... I used to walk out of the Bay Ridge location on 86th Street, now closed, with bags.. of.. great.. stuff. A $100 gone in less than sixty minutes. Today my purchase was $13.58? Sucks that the reviews are so low in rating. I came here looking for travel luggage, ended up leaving with luggage, travel luggage tags, travel combination locks, travel containers, travel organizers, and body spray. Maybe it was my lucky day but I found everything I came for and more. Only downside was the line had about 13 people on it and this was 12 noon on a Thursday, I'd hate to see what the weekend looks like, they seem to be short staffed because there were only 2 people on the register, and although the line kept growing, no one called for back up. Next time I'll visit at 10am when they open. read more

I've been coming to this location since moving to the area a year back. The service is ok at best. I usually come here and look for deals on travel luggage, candles, bath things, etc. Sometimes they have a solid selection of cookware which I like. The items here are so messy that it makes shopping here a nightmare. The manager is also pretty rude. I asked if there was a discount on a side table with 3 areas where there was chipped marble and she said "nuh-uh. It came like that." I've never heard a grown woman say nuh-uh before. This Marshalls is recently new. They opened last Fall. It's 2 levels with options to take the escalator or the elevator up. This location is right off Atlantic and Boerum Place in Downtown Brooklyn. It's always clean with great selections in the shoes and home department. Just like any other Marshalls you have to shop around for bargains, but the prices are always great. read more

I very rarely shop at stores such as TJ Maxx or Marshall's but since this store was a recent addition to Cobble Hill, I decided to check it out. On the two occasions that I visited, this store appeared a bit disheveled. With just two floors of merchandise, some items were just carelessly thrown while others were a bit more organized. Like all Marshall's, there can be some pretty good finds at reasonable prices. You just have to look and sort through it. read more

I'm not a fan of Marshall's because the majority of these stores are disheveled. One big mess so because of that I don't go into this store unless I'm looking for candles, maybe a throw pillow, or workout equipment. I refuse to dig through racks of clothes along side 6 other people. It's just definitely not going to happen. Whoever made the decision to revamp the men's section at this Marshall's should be fired immediately. What a disaster. All the reshuffling is confusing as ever. One staffer even told me when I alerted her that the men t-shirts were in the section as you get in the line to checkout. It made no sense to me but I looked anyway and there was nothing there. The store is an absolute mess and disaster. I hope someone from Corporate gets in there and takes a look because they are going to lose business and a lot! I will likely look to shop at Marshall's elsewhere until this store get its act together. read more

This Marshall's is a smaller version of most other locations but understandably so. It's located on the 1st and 2nd floor on 241 Atlantic Avenue. It has some nice things you might want to get but overall it is missing many many items you would typically find at other location. read more

I walked into the store before closing and was met by Fred D. He was extremely rude to myself and many others. He threatened to call security because he wanted his workers to go home. However, I entered the store before 7pm, which is the time the store closed Sunday evening. This is not the way a store should be treating their customers. Went in to buy a pair of shoes. Found one I wanted to try, and looked high and low for someplace I could sit while I removed my worn shoes and tried the ones for sale on. When I found no such place, I went back to the fitting room and was "greeted" by a woman who obviously found the only perk of her job was to yell at customers. She told me I couldn't bring shoes to the fitting room. When I told her there was no place to sit, she claimed as if it were obvious, "There's a stool right there!" "Where?" I asked. She then lazily cast a hand in the direction from where I'd just come without more (which is understandable, since she was lying and she knew it). A couple of clerks confirmed that, in fact, no "stool" existed. When I mentioned the lady who had barred me from the fitting room claiming there was one, they rolled their eyes as if it were the 50th complaint they'd gotten about this person that day. read more

This store is very well stocked, and the lines are rarely long. The staff have treated me nicely, and I have found some gems in this location. Marshall's stores are great if you are a fan a Michael Kors. I recently found a pink ladies purse, msrp $298, on sale for $79. I found women's scarves, msrp $58, for only $16.99. I found Jimmy Choo perfume that normally sells for $39.99 on sale for $28. The list goes on and on. This location is not well known, so you can find hard to find items more easily than elsewhere. This Marshall's is way worse than suburban stores, with a much smaller selection than most other Marshalls, including the one down the street near Flatbush at the Atlantic Center Mall. As a plus sized woman, I am accustomed to a poor selection of clothing, but this place takes the cake. There were probaby fewer than 40 hangers in the Plus size area. One 4'bar and one 3' diameter circular rack. No dresses, all blouses. If you're looking for artificial flowers and plaques with cloying aphorisms, this is definitely the place to go, but I'd steer clear otherwise. read more

Immediately when my girlfriend and I walked in we were followed around the entire store by the employees. Onto every level and even led into the line. We are two older girls with no bags on, who shop here regularly (enough to know where everything is). We went straight to the section we needed and then into the line. I am a big fan of Marshall's and Homegoods for home items, so I was excited when I saw a Marshall's was opening close to home. Overall they have some decent home items, but the store is always a big mess, even at the start of the day. Boxes everywhere and 9/10 you can't get through the home area because of boxes, hand trucks, carts, etc. I had to ask the Manager a question once and she was rude and unhelpful. So I was not surprised the store looks the way it does. Today was the last straw; there were about 15 people on line, the same Manager came to a register to answer a question and then left leaving just two registers open. In my retail days if there was a line for the register we dropped everything and helped, but not in this Marshall's. This branch needs stronger management in all areas. read more

This location just opened on Nov 17th (a 2 level Marshalls) I'm very impressed. Not only the look but cleanliness and over all staff of the store. There are many staff members around to help you. My sister and I were just speaking on looking for storage boxes and a catch-all tray and a team member quickly approached us an guided us where to look (she had over heard out conversation) the check out line moves quickly many registers open, and the over all store is well organized. We will be back (we got distracted on all the Christmas decorations and house-wear we have to check out the rest) read more

Horrible, unorganized, and understaffed. Expect to spend an hour in here if you find something to buy, 50-55 minutes of which will be spent standing in the checkout line. There could be 20 people in line and they'll still have 1 cashier moving at a snail's pace. This place is disgusting and not worth your time or money. this store is a hot mess ! the staff are nice enough but never know where anything is once you do chase them down. how could they? the store is a disaster- I have been going for a couple of years now so I know that it wasn't because of Covid that the store is in the condition it's in. Clothes and hangers and merchandise is strewn all over the floors you cannot possibly make your way down most of the aisle with the wagon and forget it if somebody's in the aisle already you're not getting down there with or without a shopping cart. Someone is going to get hurt in this store. I gave 3 stars because they have great prices and some really nice merchandise marked well below MSRP. Inspect it thoroughly though! Because the merchandise has way more than typical 'shop wear' and heavy handling is evident in the more delicate fabrics and textiles. They also need to do better with making prices easier to figure out. The price is different on 5 exact same items. Not a pleasant shopping experience. I would spend more in less time is they cleaned up their act. read more

I​ gotta think what kinda people that marshalls​ lets into their stores, really​​ I​ do. On the way out today alone​ I wanted to get on the elevator, but coming into the store via the elevator were two homeless folks with a wheelchair. I though had someone in it but turns out it just had rubbish, almost was fooled about this too. Thought it was a joke until others near the entrance/exit were offended by the smell and presence, i mean the service def improved from the last review then this happens. i gotta rethink on everything that i touch in there bc these guys were putting their hands on everything. so i had to say something about this and it goes without saying to wash anything you buy at the store but in this stores case,​ you gotta sanitize this stuff. well gotta say the service improved but at the cost of cleanliness within the store so at a single star this review remains, please clean up the place I​ will have no problem changing my review. you guys had an​ old woman scared in the elevator man really!!! read more
