    Target runnnnn :)

Maybe it's a NYC thing but everything was sold out and locked up. Finding someone to unlock the soaps and such was not intuitive lmao o

One of my fave things to pick up at Target Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

My go to Target since it's closer to my work location. They are also convenient to go to and have other stores and benefits in the mall area. The focus is on this Target store, so I won't mention the other stores and goodies around but you will find out when you visit. Kelan who went to get me a cart and the lovely young lady who assisted me yesterday at the register made this particular visit super cool and less stressful. I had a long day at work and decided to go to Target to pick up a few items! The staff are always helpful to me every time I visit, even when they are busy. From the lovely lady at the beauty section to the young man that helped with checking the prices at aisle E, you are all superstars and make my visits pleasant. Yesterday was lovely, just like all my visits there, so to anyone who has ever taken a minute to assist me in anyway, I say thank you. #Thankfuleveryday #ThankYouThursday Thank you for always matching prices too! Grateful to always save some money.

This was my first time at this Target and it was ok. Downtown stores like this get a lot of traffic so they are hard to keep clean because the shoppers are monsters and just throw merchandise all over the place with no regard to anyone else, So the store is a bit of a mess...but I was able to find what I needed even though I couldn't find a price tag nearby. But on the positive side, they have scanners around the store so I was able to find the price. I used the self checkout and that was quick and efficient. If you need stuff from Target, this is a decent place but it is not like shopping at one of the pristine suburban Targets so adjust your expectations accordingly.

If I could leave less than one star I would, I was racially profiled at this particular target on 2/7/2023. I purchased a few cleaning supplies and 2 ottomans. I used the self checkout lane, scanned all of my items and retrieved my receipt. As I proceeded to exit the store, I was approached by asset protection. He asked if I had a receipt and wanted to it. I showed him my receipt and said to him that he was racially profiling me because I am black. He told me don't take it personal, well it is personal Target! I will post this on every platform. If you do no trust black and brown people at the self checkout, remove it and hire real cashiers.

If they are going to lock everything up then they need to have more employees on the floor so the customers can get what they need.

So without much thought at all I declared that we needed to go inside and started across the street. What could Dad say? He gave me a look that clearly said "you're weird" and followed me in. Once inside we were greeted by dozens of items that I swear are in my Grandfathers basement right now. Dad must have been reading my mind b/c he actually said "I think you're grandfather has a couple of those in the basement" while pointing to a set of vinyl suitcases. The entire store is filled, floor to ceiling, with vintage pieces of all sizes and shapes. Big ticket items like tables, chairs and trunks to smaller accessories of baskets & picture frames. The layout and arrangement made it hard to navigate the store and what was more confusing was the location (I think) of the cash register & counter area... It's hidden behind a huge pile of stuff so you can't even see the front door if you're sitting behind the counter. Oh and we were in the shop for a good ten minutes and I don't think I saw the owner/manager once. I though that was weird.. and I can't forget to mention- I found the store to have a bit of a musty smell... which makes sense if you think about the items inside. While I don't think I'd purchase anything it was a cool shop to walk through and brought back memories of Gramps. If you're looking for some nostalgia- stop by Trailer Park

The store offers to give the customer goods in exchange for money. Not here. I called City Foundry. Asked about buying an item I'd seen there earlier in the week. Before answering any of my questions (e.g., delivery options), they asked who I was and where I worked. Because maybe they only sell to certain people? Like, not just customers with money? But specific customers with specific money? I don't know. I didn't get it. And I didn't buy it.

You know,…read morethat one where the pretty girl employee is closing up and all the lights go out and then all of a sudden there is a guy with a mask and an antique shovel in front of her. Ah! I don't like horror movies, and I didn't really like this shop. Yes, it's packed with all sorts of interesting finds: metal medicine cabinets, world globes, retro styled end tables, metal baskets, bowls, other misc accessories, and dozens and dozens of hanging light fixtures. But as I wandered farther and farther into the store I just got creeped out. There is sooo much packed in there that someone could actually be hiding behind a cabinet and I'd never know it. I wandered half the store before I even saw any life from the staff- so imagine my thoughts when someone finally came out (from wherever) and asked if I needed any help. Despite her asking I really didn't feel welcomed and decided not to spend any more time in the store. Not that I would have made a purchase anyway- prices were a bit steep for my wallet. Notes: No photography allowed in the store. and you're not supposed to touch anything without the assistance of the staff. I hate rules like that.
