She named her business after a historical home she and her husband visited on their honeymoon. Katie sells her baked goods and preserves at local farmer's markets, as well as event/bazaar booths. I saw empty trays of butter croissants, palmiers, and chocolate croissants. The prices compared to what is being offered in Boise was less expensive so it seemed like Paris Banh Mi sold out of these items. I gathered my daughter and my French mom the next morning to get to Paris Banh Mi at their opening to only find that those empty trays from the night before were still empty. I walked up to the young man at the cashier and asked where were all the croissants, palmiers, and chocolate croissants. He tells me, matter of factly, that what they have is out on display. To be clear, what was out on display was two or three offerings of bakery goods that didn't look fresh or even appetizing. If you're going to be a French bakery and have trays with the words of Croissants, Palmiers, and others then stock it OR Remove them as it is false advertising. Matter of fact, take out the Eiffel Tower by the front door while you're at it. There's NOTHING FRENCH or PARIS related here. I will never come back. It was embarrassing experience.
