Staff were excellent, getting the information they needed from me getting my equipment, and telling me what to do or who to call before sending me on my way. Guys, the entire process of setting up an account to walking out the door was less than 15 minutes! Unreal!!! The interior of the Xfinity store is really pretty. Technology from phones, to tablets to large flat screens line all the walls and rest on floor displays. People shopped, people opened accounts, people complained about bills, but for me it was an enjoyable experience. All cable sucks, and my parents have xfinity....it sucks. But so far the service here in augusta has yet to fail me. I know, give it time, but this review is being written shortly after setting things up (which also was an easy process) This store is located in a strip with shared parking. There really isn't an excuse for not finding parking here. It also helped that the apt I have is giving tenants free xfinity bundled into the rent, so free cable and WiFi is hard to beat when you combine it with great customer service. I'm not saying you should come here. I'm just saying that I came here and walked away happy, and I hope you do too!

I signed up for DirecTV streaming via AT&T's internet service and was charged $65 in advance for a month. The website indicated DirecTV would send a device to attach to my television that would enable me to watch the service on my Smart TV. (It's an LG, and the DirecTV app can't be downloaded directly onto that brand.) The device never arrived. I was able to watch the streaming only on my iPhone or by using AirPlay to cast it onto my television. Needless to say, with the avalanche of streaming apps available, I don't need to pay DirecTV as an intermediary for that. After two calls to customer service over the space of a month, I was finally told that a) DirecTV had no record of a streaming device being ordered and that b) ordering one would require an additional $120 payment in addition to the $total 130 that I've already paid DirecTV for its useless "entertainment package." (Yes, DirecTV had no qualm about collecting an auto-payment for the second month of non-existent service, which it refused to refund.) The bottom line: Stay far, far away from this company. You can find better service almost anywhere else. And it's unlikely you'll find a company that cares LESS about keeping your business!

I was able to watch a Laker game before on a sports channel anytime with the package I had and now they are doing everything to block me from doing that as they said it is not in my area since I moved from Los Angeles to Augusta GA. I was able to continue to watch those games when I first moved here back in March til the end of the season but when the season started they blocked and continue to block them giving me a BS excuse about Lakers are not my regional game. My neighbors who are also from Los Angeles are able to watch Laker channel and the games with no issues whatsoever. I think Directv is not what as good as they claim to be. They also said they will never ever add chrome or Airplay whatsoever. I thought DIRECTV had better customer relations with their subscribers and was all about helping customer and all that, well I just saw another side of directv I had never seen before. Now I am definitely sure that they are no better then Time warner cable or Comcast. As a matter of fact I just categorized them in the same level or worse. You are paying a lot for peanuts and bad customer relations.

    My phone shattered front and back by a car running over it. Luckily I was able to use a temporary…read morephone until I got home to Augusta get it repaired. I used another local company before but decided to try elsewhere because after the last repair my old phone continued to heat up where I couldn't use it anymore and had to upgrade. I used CPR cell repair many years ago but their prices were slightly higher than the competition that's why I didn't return to be honest. Well I learned my lesson - sometimes you should pay a little more for quality service that can be guaranteed vs going the cheap route. I came across an employee named Matt and he was very knowledgeable and honest. The reason I say this is because when I brought my phone in, I wasn't even sure it worked and he pointed that out to me. He was right - no reason to fix a phone screen if it isn't going to turn on after repairs. He asked if he could diagnose it and there wouldn't be a charge - I appreciated that! He then determined it was able to charge and turn on but there the camera - front and back couldn't be used unless repaired. I mostly wanted the screen phone repaired because of the hundreds of passwords saved that I no longer had access too. I decided to just fix the front and he fixed it while I waited in their lobby. He returned with a pristine repaired front screen and he even put some tape on the back to make sure all the glass from the breakage of the phone didn't cut me. Thank you for employing honest employees who are knowledgeable as that gained you a loyal customer. Keep up the good work! They also had a good selection of cell phone cases and covers and sell used/older phones if you find yourself in a situation where your phone isn't repairable.

    My nightmare began with a screen replacement on May 26. Immediately after the repair, the…read morereplacement screen was hypersensitive, glitching, and clearly malfunctioning. I also noticed a very small chip along the side of the screen and returned to the store that same day. Instead of addressing the defective repair, the technician claimed the screen issues were somehow my fault. He then proceeded to press firmly on the exact location of the tiny chip, causing the screen to spiderweb and crack further right in front of me. The damage visibly worsened due to his actions. When I returned to speak with the manager, he grudgingly agreed to replace the screen for an additional $100--but only if I removed my negative review. Reluctantly, I removed the review, paid the money, and had the screen and protector replaced *Just HOURS later, the screen went completely black* I immediately returned to the store, where I was told the issue was caused by liquid damage. That explanation was impossible--the phone had not gotten wet or been exposed to liquid in any way during the few hours since the repair. After considerable back-and-forth, the manager finally agreed to repair the screen again. Now, *just FIVE DAYS* after that replacement screen was installed, the phone is once again completely black and non-functional. At this point, there is a clear pattern of failed repairs. Most concerning was being pressured to remove a negative review in exchange for a partial remedy to a problem that should never have occurred in the first place, so I will NOT be removing this review. I will be taking my phone elsewhere for repair, and I will be escalating this matter to CPR Corporate and any other appropriate consumer channels.
