Verizon is crap. We have been customers for almost 13 years. I got a new phone which was a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. First one was bad, so they replaced it with a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. It arrived days later and guess what, same problems, skipping letters, putting the letter P into words, you have to hard press to get the letter to type, and several other issues. So I contact Verizon for the third time and I was told that sure the would send me a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. That phone never arrived. I contact them again today and they are going to replace it with a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 th as t (there is an example of what my phone does from just trying to type that). Anyhow I am getting a replacement with the same piece of crap phone refurbished. They tell me all about policy, yada yada. Well MY POLICY IS SIMPLE 1.) Treat a customer who has been a customer for 13 years like THEY MATTER! 2.) If a customer comes to you for a third time for the same issues, take good care of them and MAKE IT RIGHT. I certainly hope they do not send the same phone with the same problems. The customer service manager said I had no option other than to accept another REFURBISHED Galaxy Z Flip 7. I was told by the wanna-be manager DAVID OR DAVE Which ever he likes to go by, that I wasn't allowed to be helped any longer and me and my 8 month old needed to leave to make space for other customers due to being "short staffed " or serviced again AT ALL after spending 500$ and 3 hours of my time being serviced and bought new phone from Louie that I am not ALLOWED to ask questions about my new phone. Kept shewing me and my child out the door and I did absolutely nothing. my child is so good she doesn't fuss or cry and loves people so that was not a factor here. He was on his phone the entire time they were packed with people. When asked to help other customers he said " short staffed " again. IF YOURE THE MANAGER MANDATING THE DOOR IS NOT A PRIORITY. Helping the 9 other customers are. I see you know how to service more than being a door man based on the previous reviews about you. You need to be fired. Your attitude towards people who spend money here needs to be rectified. If it wasn't for Louie stepping in and helping me with a simple question, overriding you in you telling him not to answer my question I would've went to Tmobile immediately. You would've lost 2 customers that day. ON TOP OF US BEING MILITARY. This is absurd. Louis was very well-versed and and articulated the whole entire upgrade so well I was able to actually want to even buy the phone bc I just came from Waynesboro location ready to close my account with the poor service. You need to make Louie manager already. At this point you're doing the company and location a disservice keeping this man in a position he makes a joke of. On camera. It smelt like weed the 3 times my family went in and the welcoming me and my dad and brother got wasn't very friendly and they didn't greet us at all an say how are you doing or have a good day when we left. They're attitude is very negative and they're grumpy and they weren't very helpful because my brothers phone is damaged and we tried to get a new phone, and apple store was more helpful then verizon. Worse place ever. Honestly if you only have to go to this place, switch carriers. My 80 year old father went in today to get help with his new phone, and transferring the data to his new phone. Not only did they understand he didn't know anything about the phone, but they then took advantage of that. They just turned his new phone on, didn't transfer any data, and told him that is all they can do for him. He told them, that his daughter (me), told him that he should be able to get information transferred over. They told him there is no such thing, and that if anything would get transferred that he would have to give it to his daughter. He informed them I lived in ATL, and they said, yeah you have to take it to her to get help with the phone. Its ridiculous how they treat senior citizens trying to get help with phones. And take advantage of the situation. Its disgusting actually. Do not visit this location. I hope they shut it down, or change it over to new management, because based on the other reviews and mine today, obviously the person does not care. read more

After spending 1000+ dollars and walking out feeling like just another sucker who need a cell phone; I return for a refund and only because I had recently been there and was angry did I get a refund . They would do any of the annoying stuff about getting a new phone and the wait was long because of COVID. Just a really inconvenient experience and I feel bad for the under trained staff having to deal with ridiculous COVID procedures that come from higher up. There is a positive to this store though the fact that it is owned by Verizon and not a franchise building means that you can buy a phone in full. I would highly recommend just going to the apple store at the Augusta Mall. The building is significantly larger and they offer faster customer service and financing on the SAME phone. Also the staff at the apple store are far better trained and even have tech support. Don't buy a phone from here just buy it from Apple. read more

I don't know if it's just Augusta but 2 of the Verizon wireless stores here have horrible customer service. The representatives need to be trained better and aware of new customers walking in. First experience, walked in intending to upgrade my phone and it took 15 minutes for a rep to approach me. I told her what I wanted to do and she said "ok, I'll be right back" and walked to the back of the store. I waited 5 minutes, saw her come back out front and stand around. She forgot to do her job apparently...I also noticed at least 5 other reps standing around and not helping customers. Second experience, I was trying to turn in a phone but the rep didn't want to help me out because she didn't want to inconvenience herself. All excuses from her. read more

We had a Galaxy 7+ purchased in April 2016. The phone was lost/stolen in December 2016. In January 2018, I received an email stating the phone was being returned to Verizon. They received the phone today. But told me I can not have the phone for two reasons- I should have had insurance and they do not have a way to get the phone to me after it reaches the warehouse. I still pay monthly and faithfully for this phone. They have it in their possession. They are still charging me for the phone. And my request to have it returned to me (ticket number 3144051) was denied. Verizon could have offered to send it COD. What happened to customer service? What happened to going above and beyond for customers because it is what you love to do? So after this, I am going back to Straight Talk or even AT&T. At least I if I lose a phone with them, I expect the cutrate service I just received from Verizon. read more

Beware of Verizon when buying a new phone. My wife's iPhone 6 was recently damaged and she could no longer type the letter 'p'. It was a humorous few weeks because I told her to type an 'f' instead when texting me. Some of her texts included: - A fackage came for you. - I'll fut crab cakes on a flate and fut shimf, dif, and slaw where u can find it - I ficked up some fefsi and Dr Feffer - I'm froud of both of you - Would you like some feaches? - Haffy to hear that - Traffic fermitting And my personal favorite: - I'm flacing a Fizza Hut order. I didn't want it to be a surfrise. Anyway, back to Verizon. Today I bought a new iPhone 8 and swapped iPhone 6's with my wife. She didn't want to lose the headphone AUX jack with the new phone and I'm already using bluetooth headsets. When I got home, I received an email from Verizon thanking me for signing up for Total Mobile Protection. The person we worked with did not tell us about this. After some digging, I found out that Verizon charges $13 per month for this hardware coverage. I used the Verizon website chat to have the charge removed and was told that "insurance programs are normally added automatically for new phone purchases if you haven't declined it." Well, if it is never mentioned, it would take quite a bit of research to determine that I need to decline it. The online rep said he removed the plan and that I will not be charged. I'm definitely watching my bills to make sure I'm not charged for this. For most purchases, consumers lose money on these "consumer protection plans" and that is why companies can be sneaky about adding them to your bill. Decent companies are very transparent and ask you to opt-in. My comments above concern Verizon policy and that I was not informed of being signed-into a paid plan without my consent. I came in to the store to talk about pricing on a new contract and possibly a new phone. I was greeted as I entered the store and led to an associate and sat down at a table with her. I sat there waiting for at least 2 minutes and she sent out a few texts and then she called to another associate to talk about personal shopping. She then laughed about how there's too many people working today. After all this she decided to greet me and ask how she can help. It was also hard to understand what she was saying because she would mumble which led to me embarrassingly answering questions that weren't asked. Halfway though our discussion she yelled across the store to talk to some friends. Overall, awful experience. I was thinking of sticking with Verizon because of their great customer service but now I'm looking at other places with better prices. read more

They had poor service prior to covid. I'd been a verizon customer for 20 years and every interaction at their store is excruciating. Today, all I needed was a porting number. I was on hold over an hour and wasted my day trying to connect via phone. When I went to the store for my simple request I was told they couldn't help me until Monday and it's Friday. The manager at this store Carla was awful. The minute we walked in the store she had an attitude. We were trying to pick up the phone that we had ordered to this store. When we walked in and started asking questions she made us feel stupid and that we should have known better. Then we had the phone over to her to explain the situation to the owner of the account and she said three words to him the whole time. She also had an attitude the whole time while on the phone. When we thought we had finally figured it out she was sitting with another customer. Another associate came over to help us and we started explaining the situation to him. You could hear Carla in the background saying we are stupid and she already explained the situation to us. It was very unprofessional in that store. I do not recommend. Also we had tried to come to this store the other day and they weren't letting people in an hour and a half before closing. Through the past 3 days they have been closing 1-2 hours early. This is some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered a Pixel XL 128GB phone on the internet, and I was sent the wrong one. The rep over the phone told me I could walk into a Verizon store and exchange it, and said this specific location had plenty in stock. The next morning I call the store, and ask them if they have an Pixel XL 128GB phones available. The person over the phone said "yes, we have a ton of them" I explained my situation, and he agrees to put one aside. I reiterate "Pixel XL 128 GB, correct?" He repeats back to me "Yup, Pixel 128 GB" I say perfect, I will be there after work. I show up and inquire about the phone put aside for me, and the employee comes from the back room and says "We dont have any 128GB, we have plenty of 32's". I asked him why one wasn't put aside for me, and he said "I said we have plenty of 32's". So he refused to acknowledge that he didn't put one aside because he messed up, I ask for the manager. The woman comes up, I explain everything to her, and she says "we have plenty of 32's" I tell her I don't care how many 32's you have, I don't care how many iPhones you have, Samsungs, any of it. I was told by your employee that he would set one aside for me. She claimed they weren't allowed to set phones aside, so I asked why would he tell me that. She then goes on and says "he probably didn't know what phone you were talking about" It is his JOB to know what phone I'm talking about, and if he wasn't sure, why did he tell me he had set one aside? She didn't have an answer for that, just nodded up and down with that fake corporate smile, just waiting for me to leave. After about 10 seconds of silence, I say "well, is that it?" "Yup" and I left. I am very, very strongly considering switching over to Project Fi or T-moblie over this, this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever received. The words "I apologize" or "I'm sorry" never came out of her mouth. These employees clearly do not care about their job or their customers. Never, under any circumstances, go to this store. read more
