I gotta give these guys they're due. I came here trying to get a self activating kit, and as I was one of the first customers in line, I was seen immediately. Staff were excellent, getting the information they needed from me getting my equipment, and telling me what to do or who to call before sending me on my way. Guys, the entire process of setting up an account to walking out the door was less than 15 minutes! Unreal!!! The interior of the Xfinity store is really pretty. Technology from phones, to tablets to large flat screens line all the walls and rest on floor displays. People shopped, people opened accounts, people complained about bills, but for me it was an enjoyable experience. All cable sucks, and my parents have xfinity....it sucks. But so far the service here in augusta has yet to fail me. I know, give it time, but this review is being written shortly after setting things up (which also was an easy process) This store is located in a strip with shared parking. There really isn't an excuse for not finding parking here. It also helped that the apt I have is giving tenants free xfinity bundled into the rent, so free cable and WiFi is hard to beat when you combine it with great customer service. I'm not saying you should come here. I'm just saying that I came here and walked away happy, and I hope you do too! read more

My account and banking information was compromised. I went through 4 different debit cards in a month due to fraud. Finally figured out from filing a police report that it was Xfinity. Walked in to the store and manager knew about the issue. No one or any other customers were notified of this security breach. She even mentioned this happened before 2 years ago. She offered a credit of $30 but it was never added to my account. My bill then went up $10/month after of all this. HORRIBLE read more

Latoya was exceptional - professional, technically competent, very easy to work with. Brought in a damaged phone 2 days ago and she explained how to receive a replacement phone. Followed her instructions and got the new phone yesterday. Went in today and she restarted and restored the new phone. An example of outstanding customer service and quality work. Comcast is the cable company in the world.Took my equipment from old house to new house to find out it doesnt work.Call them for repair he came out without the new equipment that was promised,was told to exchange it at the store. Got home to find out that they will not talk to each other. Called on Wednesday was promised they would be here on Friday ,and never showed up,called them and Mark told me I was scheduled for Tuesday not Friday. Never confirmed Tuesday cant do suppose to get me tech out this weekend and never called backed.So I have been without cable for 2 1/2 weeks. Wow! I was having flashbacks of paying my Con Edison bill back in The Bronx! It started off smooth and cool they ask you reason for the visit and added your name to the waiting list. Well.. this you lady came busting in the doors yelling she wants to see a manager and had her cable modem in her hands like she was gonna throw it at someone! The lady at the console told her in a calm manner that she would help her but she has some customers in front of her. She started cursing and say she's been waiting for 2 days for the service tech to come and they never showed up! She works from home online and then her appointment was canceled. A man who was ahead of her started yelling he was next next thing seemed like everyone had a beef with Xfinity. As a New Yorker I was looking for my exit strategy to get my butt out of there but she was blocking the only way out LOL. She calmed down but the other customers were complaining. So the finally called me and come to find out I didn't have to return the used equipment back! WTH!! I could have gotten head blown off for not having to go there. Comcast always comes out with the best deals in town, until your contract is up. At this point there is no telling, except your price for service WILL go up. They have also been known to unsubscribe certain channels that were in your contract, only for you to pay extra if you want the channel back. Regarding bundles, honestly how many people use a landline for their main phone communications? Have to get it if you want a discount. I've never used it. I fo not trust them, main reason I would never sign up for wireless with them. read more

The customer service here is usually pretty good. But why can't you get a receipt from the front desk when you are dropping things Off? The reason why I am only give them 2 stars is their pricing. The quoted me a more expensive price than contacting Xfinity directly!!! For the package I wanted they said it would be 69.99 per month and they would have to run a new credit check, etc. etc. WAIT. I'm already an Xfinity customer I thought! (Are these guys a franchise store like what Verizon does?! *Always go online there too!) So I went to Xfinity.com and logged into my account. OK. I get it. It's Easter Sunday. Happy Easter, go hunt some eggs, "Hey I see the Easter bunny. Here's the deal, this is Augusta, Ga. Today is the day that officially kicks off Masters week. Now the thing is, we have guests that are arriving from Ecuador to rent the house for a week. Since we did not have cable TV in the house, we had Comcast send out a kit last week. We do not want to pay for cable television for more than one week since only the guests will be using it. In setting it up this weekend, we discovered they did not send out a cable splitter. Which is required to plug in both your Internet modem and the cable box. After calling and speaking with them this morning, they promised me, assured me and guaranteed me that this location on Robert C Daniel Jr Parkway is open from 12 PM to 5 PM every Sunday. Including today. Easter Sunday. I literally begged them for a phone number to call the store and verify that before driving over there. I told them they were probably closed for Easter Sunday. So I drive over there right before our guests are to arrive expecting to pick up a splitter. Guess what? They're freaking closed on Easter Sunday. So after calling and dealing with Comcast for most of the morning, we are now running severely behind. Oh, and did I mention? They sent a bad remote with the kit. In other words, the new remote will not arrive until Tuesday and my guests from another country will have to figure out how to use it since I will be back at my house in Atlanta. And lastly, everyone that I spoke with on the phone, I mean, every single person, could have had their job done better buy a first grader. The staggering level of incompetency at this company is mind blowing. How do any of these people keep their jobs? How is that possible? No wonder people are leaving companies like this by the millions. I'm actually sick to my stomach that I have to have this service and pay for it for one full week. read more

This company charges a lot for less especially when it comes to their internet service. You pay for 250 mbps and you get buffering, poor connection that turns off. I called them a few times about it and although they said it works on their end it is still crap. Of course it works on their end, THEY HAVE THE CONTROL. Their service is crap Btw if you decide to buy a video to stream from them not to rent be aware that this video does not belong to you according to the customer service I contacted if you decide to return the equipment to comcast you can kiss your video goodbye because they won't send you a copy of that video once you cancel your service. Not only that but that video has a limited time to watch( yes you heard me), according to the customer service even tho you buy the video and it you think it is yours it's not. They will allow you to watch it for up to 3 months in which case you won't see it anymore in your purchased. So essentially you the customer are paying to rent a video not buy it. And if you pay 20 dollars thinking you bought it, you got a free month off from renting it. That's it. Mind as well buy it from iTunes or Amazon prime video at least those are yours to keep once you purchase it. read more

If you're trying to get anything done with Comcast, definitely go into a store and talk to their customer service reps in person. We were not using parts of our service and wanted to change what we were buying. We tried to call two different Comcast numbers and the outsourced customer service person we finally talked to was unwilling or unable to give us what we were asking for. Felt like he was just trying to get his numbers and didn't care about what we were asking for. He did offer us a cheaper plan but with unnecessarily bundled items that we didn't want. That's when we went into this XFINITY store and was able to talk to a Comcast rep face-to-face. Definitely one of the few good experiences I've had with Comcast. Antonio was very informative about the different services Comcast offered in our area and helped us decide what would be best for us based on what we told him we wanted. He was extremely helpful! I would highly recommend going to this XFINITY store and talking to a real person so you don't get bullied into purchasing extras services that you don't want or need. read more

Probably the best experience I've had with Comcast in the 7+ years I've dealt with them! The staff were super courteous and friendly, the waiting area was comfortable and my wait was less than five minutes and my service request was done in about three minutes, so all in all a 10 minute stop from start to finish. If you have any Comcast issues I highly recommend coming here if you're not getting anywhere with the online service! read more

So unfortunately xfinity is the only service in My area that provides fast internet with reliability. However they want to charge me 60 bucks to move my internet router into another room. I pay 70 dollars a month to have 100% internet accessibility in my home. It does not take a technician to come to my house in order to move a modem.. I'll describe to you how it works. When you have access to each outlet in your room all you have to do is twist the cable cord into the back of the router. Then plug the router to an electrical outlet. Eventually the router will do its thing with upload/download speeds and will emit a wifi signal. ITS THAT SIMPLE. however xfinity only activated one outlet in my house and because I have connectivity issues from the far side of my home away from my outlet I can't just move it. I HAVE TO PAY 60 DOLLARS FOR A TECHNICIAN TO DO IT. If you have a different option I would chose another one. Unfortunately we're stuck with Xfinity. read more

COMCAST is the worse internet and cable provider period point blank. They place themselves in a position where people have no choice but to use them. Their prices contain hidden fees and taxes so your bill never reflects the advertised pricing. They know this so why is it never included up front. The internet sucks. I can't stream a movie or TV show without it lagging every five minutes. WOW is the best provider in Augusta, and I hate that I can't use them at my new address. I had them for a year before I moved and now I don't have a choice. My WOW bill was as stated online and my internet never lagged, nor were there any service interruptions. I have internet with Comcast. I recently visited the store to return some equipment as soon as the doors open. Surprisingly, there were lots of people waiting for the location to open it's doors and as soon as they opened the staff was available to take care of each person. I don't know how long the others were at the store, but I was in there less than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was checked-in upon arrival. They pointed me to a seating area until a staff member could get with me. And I was helped after 10 minutes and after being called it took less than 2 minutes to receive the equipment. The parking lot is in a plaza, so there is plenty of parking. I usually say I'd visit again, but I hope not to. I honestly like to call service providers instead of having a one-on-one with an actual person. I appreciate the convenience of calling or chat. Note, my equipment was mailed, but I visited the store to avoid mailing this back and having to go to the post office. read more
