What started as a teen job at Burgerville turned into a lifelong passion for food and creativity. Quandrae Gentle, owner of Exotic Eggrollz, found his love for cooking early on — and in 2020, that passion became a business.
When the pandemic paused his nail salon, Boss Nailz, Quandrae turned to the kitchen, reimagining traditional Vietnamese eggrolls by wrapping people’s favorite foods inside — from cheesy to savory, sweet to bold. That’s how Exotic Eggrollz was born: not your traditional roll, but your new favorite bite.
Now, through the City of Tigard Launch Pod Program, Quandrae is bringing his creative fusion back to life at the Universal Plaza, serving up unique, flavor-packed rolls that celebrate passion, hustle, and heart.

When life threw challenges my way during the 2020 shutdown, I turned that pressure into purpose, creating Exotic Eggrollz — a brand that celebrates innovation, culture, and comfort in every bite.
