This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. I brought in my 2024 RAV4 for a minor repair after someone opened their door into bumper. During the repair process, my Toyota Connect app alerted me to an issue with the Pre-Collision System. When I was notified via text that my vehicle was ready for pickup, the alert was still active. I called to speak with my case manager, Bill, who was dismissive and simply said he would "double check it first thing in the morning." The next morning, I received no follow-up and had to reach out again for an update. Bill then transferred me to the manager, who was equally dismissive and even told me he disables all the technology in his own vehicles because he doesn't trust it. Essentially, I was told to ignore the alert because "everything checks out." Unsatisfied, I contacted Winter Park Toyota, where a very helpful representative helped me remove and re-add my vehicle to the Toyota Connect app -- the error still persists. I'm now working with the insurance company to try and get coverage for a second repair at the Toyota dealership.
