It was satisfying, full of protein, and the teriyaki sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and a little sour. We also made it there just before 6pm, in time for a happy hour glass of wine (see happy hour menu) Sarah's is still our favorite stop for a delicious and healthy dinner in Eureka.

My second favorite was the one with a coffee bean on top. My third fav was the chocolate drizzle one, but an almost tie was the caramel drizzle one. They are all fantastic. I chose the fried walleye sandwich with fries. The bun was so soft, the fish was fried so fresh and the coleslaw was yummy! I would have loved a big bowl of that coleslaw! The fries were incredible. If I had to guess, I'd say they fry the fries twice. They are to die for and I'm not even a big French fry fan! My hubby had the chicken & waffles. I got to try it and I loved it! That honey(?) butter, or whatever kind of butter it was, was drool worthy magic. The chicken was crispy and tasty. The malted vanilla waffle was one of the best I've ever had. Put it all together and it's the bar by which I will judge all future chicken & waffles. Now for the desserts. I got some to go because there is no way I was skipping those options. I got a piece of wedding cake and a piece of gooey butter cake. The wedding cake was ok. I don't need a second piece. But the gooey butter cake was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. I want to drive back to Sarah's JUST FOR THE GOOEY BUTTER CAKE! (And I'd have to have the chicken & waffles too, if I'm there, because why not). The service was amazing. All the ladies who helped us and served us were great. They worked as an efficient team. It made for a really nice atmosphere. If I'm EVER near here again, you bet I'll be back in. And I'll bring a cooler and I'll get food to eat there and take with me for later!

He brought half home for another meal. The prices have gone up as with most places, but as I said, portions are in accordance with price. The ambiance is casual, and you can hear your table mates speak. Always consistent with quality and service.

I have been wanting to try this place for ages and finally got down here today…read more The outside is like I expected, but the interior? Pictures don't do it justice. Walking in, there was a board with seasonal specials (food and drink), as well as a joke. The decor was beautiful, such a great vibe. A gentleman greeted me and sat me on the less busy side of the restaurant. Then he noticed I was wearing a dress and quickly offered to seat me on the other side, where it was warmer. But I declined and sat on the left side with the bakery case. There was one other occupied table on my side, but it was a large group. My server, Melanie ( great name, BTW), immediately greeted me and asked me what I'd like to drink. I asked for a glass of water, and the Snickers coffee. Ended up choosing the breakfast tacos, and the order of candied bacon. The bacon was the most delicious thing I've put in my face hole. Sweet and spicy and salty and crunchy and chewy. Melanie laughed when I commented on it so glowingly. She also offered up that they've got a bacon cheeseburger with this bacon on it, and waffles as the buns. My tacos came out a little after the bacon, which was perfect. They were much heftier than I expected. I was only able to finish one, and brought the other two home. Also delicious. Chorizo, scrambled eggs, toppings, sour cream, and salsa. NOM. I'm not much for sweets, but couldn't help passing by the bakery case, because everything looked so good. This is a wonderful place. Excellent service from start to finish, reasonable prices, and cool decor. I've definitely got to come back again, bring my kids, and try more of the menu.

The menu given was very limited and did not match what we saw on their website, which convinced us to try it. We should have left. My wife had a decent veggie pasta, but couldn't eat it because the pesto sauce was way too heavy to enjoy. She ate half. My boneless chicken wings (nugget bites!) were burnt and not tasty. Ate half because we were hungry. Our appetizer of spinach/cheese dip was served with pita bread that was so chewy you could not bite through it, and the dip quickly congealed so thick that you couldn't spoon it out of the dish. $60+ for food we couldn't eat while sitting in a broken uncomfortable seat. The servers were very nice and attentive. Don't go.

I had mashed red potatoes with skins & delicious roasted vegetables including summer squash. My hubby had the same roasted vegetables & onion rings. For drinks I had the tasty Moscow mule served in a traditional copper mug & husband had a tall Bloody Mary with salt on the rim. Restaurant is not marked on the outside of the building & is Inside a hotel. Service was fast & Pleasant & prices were reasonable. We would go back. Ambiance is dated.
