We stopped in around Christmas and I got this incredible gingerbread latte I still dream about. So the other day I decided to pop by while out and about to try something different. I got the PB honey latte, a great leap from my usual, but it sounded interesting. It was so good I wondered if I could take a vat home to sip til the end of time! They really do fun flavors extraordinarily well, and the place is very calming and relaxing inside. They keep it cool, which makes lingering a delight. I haven't tried the other wonderful things like the pastries and wraps but the coffees are top notch and if you are in the area, make this your next stop! I had a great experience at Toasted Coffee House! The environment was super chill and relaxing, and the employees were very welcoming as soon as I walked in. I decided to try the iced cobbler latte after seeing it on TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was delicious and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. You could really taste the freshness of the berry filling, which made it even better. I ordered a small (I believe it was 12 oz), and it was honestly the perfect size. The service was fairly quick, and the overall vibe made it a really enjoyable stop. I didn't order any food this time, but their menu looked huge with tons of options to choose from. I have been to Toasted Coffee House only a couple of times, but every time, I am met with a very friendly and helpful barista. They really like to give a nice service. On a really hot day, their dining area was very cool. It is quiet, but not so quiet that you don't feel like you can't hold a conversation. If you're out this way, check it out. I really thought the Salty Bee Panini sounded good, but I came full, so I didn't get to try it. The iced Matcha was great. read more

I love Toasted. Whether I am ordering plain coffee, "mixed" coffee, or a quick snack, I have never been disappointed. The staff seems to be consistent which is rare these days plus the back story is superb. There has been plenty of times when I got comfy in one of the loungers and spent the morning reading or camped out all afternoon working. I was working in High Ridge for the day and stopped by Toasted for a mid-afternoon lunch. I told them I had never been in before and the staff was unbelievably friendly. They asked what kind of drinks I liked and made recommendations when I said I didn't want something too sweet. I got a latte with honey that was delicious and also ordered a goat cheese panini. The panini came out hot, gooey, and delicious. The staff also thanked me for coming in and trying their business. The food isn't always the best but it's unique and always fun to try! The coffees are generally good to but can be a miss occasionally- which is totally normal and expect from small businesses. The service is always good and the business is always packed so it's hard to find seats; which is never a bad thing for a small business! If I was to choose a small business for my coffee purchases, it would definitely be here. read more

I love the decor and cozy atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly (never unfriendly). The coffee is fine. My only real complaint is the music. Coffee shop music should be relaxing or calming IMO. Toasted came highly recommended by several friends, & it did not disappoint. I tried the Toasted Macch (aka Carmel macch), & it was PERFECT. A sweet lady took my order & prepared drink while I browsed their shopping area: Gifts by local artist. Looks like a small room is under construction for private events. Neighborhood Gem Alert!! This little cozy coffee house is awesome! I get the cold brew with milk. My fav! This has such a distinct taste that I find it addicting in the summer. They have wonderful homemade bakery items. I do banana bread and it has toasted pecans baked in which is so tasty. (that's how I do mine at home now! ) The owners and staff are amazing too. Worse yet, they've been on High Ridge Boulevard for slightly over a year and just celebrated their anniversary! Well, I stopped in this morning, grabbed a large cup of freshly brewed Colombian coffee, and it was grrrrreat. I didn't sample any of their bakery goods, as tempting as they looked, but I'm sure they're delicious, too. I'll visit again and will take my wife with me next time. Poor Customer Service? Early Sunday morning my wife wanted blueberry muffins from her favorite place. I usually don't go here so don't know the hours of operation. Showed up at 10 till 8:00 am not really paying attention to the time because I was in a hurry. Door was unlock and I proceeded to go in and was greeted by a young man that stated sorry we're not open until another ten minutes. I must have left the door unlocked. So as I was standing at the counter I paused a minute then nothing was said so I calmly said ok and walked back out to my truck as he followed. As I walk through the door he locked it behind me. So I got into my truck and left. I understand I was early and since I usually don't go here my wife does I don't notice the hours of operation. This is my fault, but customer service was poor that morning because I was in the store that they left open. He just should have served me or ask if it was to go. Or explained possibly that the food or coffee was not prepared yet. I really don't know. But reassured I won't ever go back. It's just the way it was handle, am I to picky ? read more

First, I'll start with the positive. My drink was made right. Second the coffee cake was good. When I came in, no one else was there. I explained to the salesperson this was the first time I had been there. I had to ask where the napkins were. There were none on the tables. The napkins were behind the creamer with the bear that holds the cinnamon and cocoa shakers. Ok fine. Next, I had to ask for a spoon. Yes, they have stirrers but I wanted a spoon for the foam that was part of my drink. When knives and forks are on the counter, why not have spoons too? It's more eco friendly than plastic stirrers. No one asked me if I would like my pastry warmed up as they would have at Starbucks or Barnes & Noble. This place prices are close to what you would pay at a chain like Starbucks so there's really no excuse not to provide excellent service. Next, they neglected to ask me if I wanted to join their rewards program. I didn't even know about it until they asked the next customer who arrived and every customer after that. My advice to the employees--is that you should treat all customers with the same courtesy as the ones you know ESPECIALLY when they tell you they have never been there before. I stood in line 10 minutes to get enrolled in their frequent customer program although I probably won't be a repeat customer after this experience unless I see it's under new management. read more
