I asked him to look over the shoes I decided were possibilities, and he suggested a completely different pair. I didn't feel "upsold" because the price difference was only about $10, but once I tried on the shoes, I understood what he was talking about. Immediately, I said, "these are mine!". I have a large foot, so they only had one pair, but Will let me know there was another pair in the Long Beach store. I headed out to the LB store the next day and snagged a second pair. At the same time, my friend headed upstairs to the Men's section because she, too, has a large foot. The women's selection gets smaller and smaller when the shoe size increases. She was greeted by a female sales person who helped her find two pairs of shoes and a windbreaker-type jacket. My friend is not a Nike member, so she filled out the online form and received a 15% discount on her items. I responded to a Nike request for feedback, and I described the San Clemente store as "homey." We received great help from very friendly sales persons. As a bonus, I saw a drinking bowl for dogs. I love dogs, so I saw this as a very nice touch.

Of all the stores I visited, the customer service was very chill or beachy, where no one really bothers you or try to sell you anything. Visitors and shops all seem pretty friendly. There's multiple parking lots in the area. You can also take the trolly to the outlets, if you're traveling by train. Only takes about 25 minutes if it's not too busy, or a full trolley ride. I didn't see much food choices here. but a few coffee shops. There's a noodle place that I saw that looked interesting. Maybe at my next visit.

The trolly is sometimes delayed so don't relay too heavily on the timing estimate of 15-25 minutes but it's still worth waiting for if you want to head to the beach! I recommend parking in the back of the outlets for the parking is normally empty!

I am not the typical Lululemon demographic customer - but that does not stop me from exercising, does kind of affect my choices for comfort & size range. The ladies at the store in San Clemente were patient and informative, which adds up to being very happy with my selections. I did not feel like an old weirdo shopping there. They asked me what I going to be wearing this for? Spin Class, Running, or Yoga, etc... I told them and they headed me in the right direction for choices...and comfort. That helped a lot - I love everything I purchased. I was not rushed, and the attendants in the changing rooms were also very attentive & when several of the pants I selected were too long they told me about the free hemming service at LL regular stores. Then I asked after Natalie finally let me return the shorts if this was a new policy? I stated that I used to be able to return an item using my drivers license (and Yes! I understand there is a limit per year that you can do that, I believe it's $100 in 12 month timeline. This was for 20 bucks, so I would have been much happier just doing that). Truthfully I felt I was being judged by her as I have had great experiences in the past with other customers service reps.

I got a 3/2 fullsuit for like 50 bucks. I didn't even need another one at the time, but how you gonna say no to that? I also love buying booties here, if you come at a time when they have your size the deals are phenomenal, I usually pay $60+ for booties full price but they'll have them here for 15 bucks sometimes but they go fast. The staff here is also super helpful, if you're new to wetsuits and need help with wetsuit sizing or anywhere else they're always happy to help. The fitting rooms are large and spacious as well, which if you've ever tried on a wetsuit before you know that you want a lot of space to move around. Besides wetsuits and surf gear they have both men and women's apparel along with accessories such as watches, hats, bags, etc. The store is well maintained and well kept, and parking is easy right behind the store. The only downside is that their stock is always constantly changing, so you never really know if they'll have your size of what you want. I've found great deals on apparel and misc accessories, but other times I'll come by and there's no sales and the prices aren't too different from what you'd find at a regular non outlet store or they won't have my size in anything I want. If you're passing through the area, it's definitely worth it to stop by to see what they have. If they don't, come back another time because they'll probably have new inventory.
