Great Staff. Did great work and didn't charge me a fortune. Very happy with the work that was done on my corvette. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions that you may have. read more

Left my 02 sensors unplugged after I paid them to replace. They claim it was already unplugged and they were able to cut and weld the pipe without removing the sensor. Problem is, the sensors located on the catalytic converter itself, so they're lying about replacing my cats for which they charged 2k or for failing to button up the work they did. I also paid to have the drivers side exhaust manifold replaced and wouldn't you know it? There's damages right where they would have pulled the manifold from. Not 6 inches from where they were working. I know my car has issues. I'm not asking to fix my car for free. Im asking to fix what they broke upon install. But Steven J refused, called me stupid and laughed at me. $2,000 for car thats running worse than when I brought it in for damages caused by the owner Steven J. read more

Thank you for such a fast efficient repair. I was very happy with the quote and then price as i know there was more work needed. read more

Ugh I hate leaving bad reviews. I'll try to keep this short, pictures (at bottom) worth a thousand words and all. Was quoted $350 over the phone for a catalytic converter shield for my Prius, was charged $400 without explanation or detailed invoice despite several requests. Offers no theft deterrence of any sort due to shiny bolts without any washers/thread-lock that are removed in seconds with crescent wrench. Welds are a mess. When I expressed my concerns I was told, "welds could be tidier, but structurally fine" which due to its distance off the undercarriage and the Prius's low clearance, I disagree. After a looking at the pics, the individual that sent me to Exhaust Works will be withholding further referrals until it's properly addressed (I suggest the same for those reading this). Also inspected by a local fabricator who couldn't understand the cost saying, "it looks like it was made of scraps." Will be removing and replacing with the MillerCat shield recommended by Toyota for half the cost. read more

Exhaust Works on Broadway.............. I will never spend another penny at this business again. I cannot and never will recommend this business. I felt that I paid WAY too much for what they sold me and the level of service I received. Had my catalytic converter stollen out from under my F250 at 4:30 AM. Needed to use my truck, so had to have it replaced immediately, so went to Exhaust Works on Broadway. They charged me $1,136.00 and my truck stopped running one mile from leaving the shop. Had to have it towed back because of the hack job they performed, causing fuses to blow, making the truck die. They did not offer to discount the price, and did not offer to pay for the tow. To add insult to injury, they did not even bother to apologize for what they did. I later found the same catalytic converter on e-bay.com for $175.00 - $250.00, that they charged me $925.00 ! read more

Been to numerous places over my lifetime for exhaust work; none have compared to the no-nonsense shop here. Recommended by my independent auto repair facility, I have now been here two times. Expedient, found the problem in minutes and with an immediate quote, time for product to arrive and actually completing the work, this place literally is hands down amazing and earns my recommendation. This business gets to the point and ID'd a normal deficiency on my Altima that occurs over 100-150K, repaired it in less than 15 minutes. A second time, two years later, ID'd with no kidding a STETHOSCOPE, a crack in my exhaust manifold??! I was getting noxious fumes in the cabin of the car when at idle and through the venting system. I almost doubted them... Glad I didn't. Price was fair, time to repair was on point and no "We had a problem..." issues. Will never use another facility while in the Tucson area, they're THAT d@mn good! KUDOS to Exhaust Works!! read more

he speaks to me as if I'm stupid and I don't know what my car needs. either that or does a terrible job at upselling

I wish I was able to give them no stars I got a muffler delete, and I've been sitting here for five hours, watching the workers take lunch breaks, smoke breaks, and also leave the shop entirely while working on my vehicle. When I notified the owner of the establishment he told me when I get my own business I can run it the way that I want. Being very rude, telling me to get out of his face I don't want to argue and him telling me he will stop the job while incomplete and I will have to pay him and leave. This was the worst experience of my life it's dirty. I WOULDN'T GO BACK HERE EVEN IF MY CAR WAS GOING TO BLOW UP. read more

Highly recommended. Not only by me, but by a majority of repair shops in town. My car was sounding like a Harley, and I made an appointment - brought it in to them and they had me out of there in an hour. The waiting area is NOT air conditioned, so I wouldn't recommend waiting there for more than an hour in the summer months. read more

Exhaust Works on Broadway - Business card - Auto Repair Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Was told to come back in an hour. I did and was told to have a seat in the waiting room. There were 2 people waiting and said they had been there for a couple of hours. The "waiting room" was a couple of hard chairs in the middle of the shop where the temperature was the same as outdoors - around 45 degrees. Don't waste your time! read more

I highly recommend Exhaust Works. Mike and Steve took care of me. The Chevrolet dealership told me that the exhaust manifold was cracked. I brought my HHR here for a second opinion and they found the actual problem upon a free inspection. They found and explained what happened to cause it with a walk through pointing out the discrepancies. I've known people (Family and Friends) to come here and be pleased but I've never needed their services. Now that I have required their service, I must disagree with anyone that gives Exhaust Works a bad rating. I had a great experience. Saved a lot of money too. read more

I had some flowmaster 44s put on my charger right after I bought it, figuring that I bought a sports car, it may as well sound like one. I called and talked with Mike, explaining my concerns about getting a muffler installed, i.e. The car sounding whiny instead of throaty. He assured me that he had the fix I was looking for. I asked when his soonest appointment was, and he told me later that day! Brought the car in and by dinner time, was enjoying my new exhaust. Countless people have commented on how nice the exhaust sounds, and it is music to my ears. It makes it sound like an old muscle car, which I absolutely love. His prices are very affordable, and service was great. read more

Eric gave me a reasonable quote for a new exhaust on my old land cruiser. He was able to finish my truck in 1 day and did excellent work. He replicated my stock configuration and replaced my old hanger hardware with quality parts. I'll go back to exhaust works on Broadway for my future exhaust needs. read more

Found this place on yelp, stopped by for an estimate for a muffler delete and gave me a quote. Finally had a chance to drop it off yesterday and get it done, mike made sure to call me before starting it to give me a set price and once I gave him the ok he started working on my car. Really appreciate him calling me because I been to a few places that give you the receipt before even checking in with you so that was much well appreciated. He even assured me that if I didn't like the sound of it he could always undo the delete, after getting there and hearing it I loved it! Didn't sound all Whiney or annoying it's a good deep sound which was exactly what I was looking forward to hearing. Will definitely be back again and recommend. read more

bad business . dont go there they give you different price . once u get done they charge you higher than what they told you .

I had a muffler replaced a year n half ago at the old muffler shop over on Speedway near Alvernon across the street from Discount Tire...I can't remember the name of the place...maybe it was a Midas? I paid 400+ for a totally wrong kind of muffler...too loud and it was probably something that had been thrown away... They went out of business soon after.. So I went to Exhaust Works on Broadway to get the bad muffler replaced and was pleasantly surprised. It was very affordable and works perfectly. No bullshit at Exhaust Works just straight forward good service and prices. read more

I took my vehicle to this business on 02/12/21. I had the vehicle inspected and received an estimate on cost for labor, repair, and parts. I scheduled the repairs for 02/24/21-03/0/21 as they stated it may take a day or two to complete. I received a a phone call on 02/25/21 stating that they couldn't do the repairs and that they would give me a recommendation for a mechanic who would be able to complete the repairs. I confirmed the vehicle would be available for pickup as agreed on, for 03/01/21. This was confirmed by the shop. On 03/01/21 I arrived at the business to pick up my vehicle and was shocked to hear that it was in pieces and not only was it not capable of running, but that it would need to be towed to another shop. I also was told that they had broken a couple of bolts and cracked the manifold. When told they would charge me for labor already done, I told them that was out of the question. At which point they gave me two choices. Pay to have the vehicle put back together, but incomplete and with broken parts, or have it towed to another shop and pay 2-3 times the cost to have, not only the necessary repairs done, but also the added repairs from the damage they had done to the vehicle. I am now left without a vehicle that I need to commute into town with everyday, but I will now have a very large expense for repairs, as well as the fact that my husband had to take time off work to help deal with this. Which caused him to lose almost a days worth of pay because he lost several hours of work. They also refused to give me a requested work order for work that was done at their shop. This is public information and of which I have a legal right to. read more

Best shop I've ever taken my vehicles to! I would recommend this shop and it's team to anyone requiring work to their vehicles.

The shop did a cat install a few years back for me . Great work . No complaints. I supplied the parts. Called to have them swapped again. Tech answered the phone polite and ready to schedule me . When I advise of the job he changed his tone abruptly and told me they don't do that . I asked do what? He said install cats ... I said I don't understand you did this job for me before . He repeated himself with the same now rude tone. I said that doesn't make sense It's the same job I paid you guys to do before and it was done no fuss no problem. He then said we do not install other peoples converters. I asked what do you mean by other peoples? Do you guys make catalytic converters ? I brought two converters in for install before, you did the job, so I know you do this. He for some reason was annoyed at my line of questions. I told him I'm confused. He then said he cannot except any parts that are brought in because they can't warranty it. Now, I understand that . I said I don't need a warranty on the part the manufacturer does that. Just install as you previously did. I suggested he change his tone because from a customer point of view his position was confusing. I said if you've since doing this job for me before have changed your policy then just say that ... Don't be rude or act as if I'm the problem. Disappointed in the service interaction as the work is great but hey ... Maybe he had a bad day . read more

On a trip to Phoenix, my fathers jeep had some issues with exhaust pipe. Luckily yelp came to the rescue & I found this place! I called this place & the owner was very friendly & willing to work us in. We arrived and he immediately had his worker work on my fathers jeep first( since we were traveling). They did the job within 20 min& sent us on our way! No complaints! Did an excellent job and excellent customer service! Definitely recommend! read more

Called them up to see if they could throw on an aftermarket exhaust for me on the same day. I was back home with a new exhaust within 2hrs from the time I called(And it only took that long because I live all the way out in Rita Ranch...). Very reasonable price and no bs. Would highly recommend. read more

Horrible service here, I will not ever go back and I would not recommend them for any custom work. They do not know how to do a good job when it comes to custom work or for someone who is particular about how the vehicle looks when it is done. When I asked them to fix it, the said they would but did absolutely nothing. I could hear the mechanics in the back complaining about me. When I talked to a Manager/Owner he acted like he didn't care that I was not happy and would not do anything. read more

Never ever go here !!! The guy behind the desk acted as if I was interfering with his day by asking them to quote me a price for a cat. If need any exaust work this is the place to go they are pofessional and affordable.

Like many others here, I had a great experience dealing with Mike and the other people who work here - they were all courteous and professional. Mike even took me under the car to show me where the part was that he was replacing and how it worked. I felt like he was also really honest. For sure if you have any exhaust issues, see the guys at Exhaust Works! read more

Great service and a good price. I got a new catalytic convertor for under $200 and in one hour.

Went for emissions test on a Jeep I bought last year, someone had taken the catalytic converter out before I bought it. Thoughts of hundreds of dollars went through my mind. Started googling and calling. Read some real horror stories. Found Exhaust Works on Broadway, wow, great people, in and out in under an hour and under $200. Passed my emissions. I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

The blow off valve on my vehicle became extremely loud all of the sudden. I thought that I had cracked my exhaust. I stopped by Exhaust Works and they quickly checked my exhaust. While my exhaust was fine they did find a crack in the air intake inlet that connected into the turbo located behind the motor. They are awesome. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I replaced the part and everything is back to normal. read more

I stopped by without calling, I had my exhaust worked on for a good price and was on my way in 30 minutes!

Well after reading reviews on this place (Broadway location) I decided to try them. I spoke with Mike and he was very cool. I explained my situation and had my car (Nissan Maxima) over there to give them a shot. They fixed my issue the next day (Pre cat). The whole experience went really well. Mike called me with updates and never had me waiting. Hopefully I won't need them again but if I do I would use them again :). read more

Probably the worst shop I've had to deal with. I brought in an exhaust pipe off of my Mazda Rx-8 that I was doing an engine swap on and getting an exhaust bung welded in from innovate Motorsports. They then took a different bung than what was provided and welded it in. I called them and told them that it wasn't the right bung and that this one was shorter and put the O2 sensor into the pipe too much and innovate instructs that the sensor should be flush with the side of the pipe and they argued with me and Mike told me that that was BS. I took the pipe back to get the proper bung welded in and they just put a spacer in and it still wasn't the correct size it's too long it made the O2 sensor sit too far out and couldn't get a proper reading. I would go somewhere else if you need any exhaust needs. Let alone that they charged me $38 to weld it in, an easy 5 minute job. read more

I fixed the rear suspension on my '66 El Camino by converting it from coil springs and shocks to a coilover suspension configuration. The trouble with that solution was that the exhaust tailpipes for the original configuration interfered with my modification. So I cut off the tailpipes. OMG!! I made an appointment with Exhaust Works to rescue me from my self induced predicament and I'm glad that I did that. I discussed what I wanted done with Eric and he addressed all of my needs to my complete satisfaction. It's gratifying when someone listens to me and then achieves my expectations. Plus, Eric talked me down from putting those black, 12" diesel exhaust tips on the Elco and it now wears much more suitable slash cut chrome tips. Way to rock, Eric!
