Spilled coffee on my cardigan so went into this dry cleaner since it was close to my job. Price and turn around time was about average. Charged me the jacket price for my cardigan because they said it was a "sweater jacket". Totally fine. The man who works there then tried charging me. Woman behind him told him not to but he said something to her that I didn't hear. I had cash on me so I figured it would be fine. He conveniently wrote "PAID" on my receipt but not his. Kinda figured what would happen but I chose to ignore it. Went back about a week later. Didn't bother with my slip, figured it would be fine. The man said he remembered me and brought out my sweater. Then he tried charging me again. Was kind of expecting that, and knew the ticket was back at my office, so I just said I'd come back. Woman working there first said there was no way I'd paid before since they don't let you pay upfront. But she wasn't rude when she said to just bring my ticket. Found my receipt with the "PAID" written on it and brought it back. He took it in the back and I could see he was staring at it for a while. He brought my sweater out in about two seconds when he thought he could charge me again. Was able to leave without paying twice. Maybe it was a huge misunderstanding, but the way things added up I don't plan on risking it again. Maybe if you head their direction use your card. read more

Both Ilber and Giuliana are a super class act, bringing their genius to a neighborhood that is so lucky to have them. I was in town for bizz and needed some tailoring done for a photo shoot and I new that Executive Image Cleaners was the place for me. Giuliana is an absolute genius in her tailoring skills and she is the sweetest being who is living a purpose helping people be their most fabulous. She is absolutely wonderful and a gift from God as she knows exactly how to tailor things to bring out the best for people. She did multiple items for me with such a can-do attitude and I just fell in love with her graciousness and her gorgeous spirit and loveliness. Ilber is such a gentlemen and brings such dignity to all he does and I felt so taken care of while I was in LA and he and Giuliana are just so committed to the neighborhood and they bring their heart and soul to it. This place is located conveniently in downtown LA (right opposite Ralphs). I usually just street park right in front of Ralphs and walk across. I never have to spend more than 10 minutes in the store so I love that this place is super efficient. Executive Image Cleaners cleans all sorts of things--from suits to leather jackets to big fluffy blankets, this place got you covered. The pricing is also very reasonable. My favorite thing about this place is how great your clothes smell--I have no idea what kind of laundry soap they use but it smells like perfume! Usually when you hand in your dirty clothes they will hand you a receipt and give you an approximation for when you could come pick them up. The first time I came they didn't have my items ready and so I pretty much wasted my time coming here for nothing. So I recommend calling in before you come in to make sure your items are ready for pick up. read more

Called to get a quote for cleaning a sheepskin rug that Cost $100 from Costco. They said they couldn't tell me the price on the phone. Before I headed to this place, I called another place, i was told it will cost $22 to clean it. When I was at this place, both of them were like doing a full examination for the rug to see if it is real fur or not. Again, I mentioned I paid $100 for the rug and I didn't want to pay more than half of what I paid to clean it. After the fine examination, I was quoted $150 to clean it. When I told them somewhere else give me a quote for $22, they both showed me the ignored and disgusted faces like I was lying. I took it to Bee Organic a few blocks away and got it cleaned and delivered for less than $25. read more

By far the best dry cleaner I've been to. I went used to drop my shirts off at the dry cleaner inside Ralphs across the street, because their prices are certainly lower, and even tried a pickup/delivery dry clean service at my apartment building... both were ok but had a terrible tendency to crease the collars into a triangle shape. Executive Image does it right... collars are perfectly rounded every time and they even put a little plastic protector into the front of it at the top button. This is the most important part of a dress shirt and Executive Image takes care to do it right. I would have given it 5 stars, except I too have experienced the not-open-when-the-hours-say-it-should-be-open situation that a couple people have mentioned. I make sure to get there during the day or have my wife pick them up if she's available to so that I don't run into the issue of them being unexpectedly closed. A bit of an inconvenience, but I give myself plenty of time and the quality of the job is well worth it. read more

Called and asked if they'd be able to do a same day alteration that was already pinned, (I've known places who offer this service) the guy said "no problem bring it in at 9am tomorrow" I was so excited they could help me so I bring it in when they open and the woman is just like "ohhhh absolutely not no" like wouldn't even look at my item. I explained I spoke to someone and she cut me off I couldn't even finish speaking and she's just acting like I asked her something completely ridiculous. I am yet to really dig in to my Yelp review life.. but these guys made me HAVE to! I moved to LA from Seattle about 2 years ago. In Seattle there is a dry cleaners called Corry's which always does a fantastic job with my shirts and especially my pants. Since moving down here I've been looking for something in line with the service I received at Corry's.. and BOOM! Found it. These guys rock. I gave them some clothes with some rough stains and they had it back to me better than when I bought them. In addition, I found out this place is family owned, which makes sense why I felt they actually cared about my clothes and the service they gave me. The mom is very sweet (I forget her name) and her son (think he's running the place) is on top of it : without asking he let me know when the best time to pick up would be and took the extra time to break down the cleaning process they use. It was clear he cared about what he was doing and what they offered. FYI: They're organic!! Big plus in my book. Anyways, I recommend these guys without regard for any of your dry cleaning needs. Twelve years ago, I became a customer of Executive Image Cleaners, and being very particular about my clothes, I have not patronized any other cleaners since then. The owner, Juliana, like her son, gives impeccable customer service. They don't just clean your clothes, they prepare them for you. As an example, in the sleeves of my suit coats, a very soft paper is inserted that reaches almost to the edge of my cuff, so that the fabric doesn't fold onto its self and create a wrinkle. My sweaters are folded across the hanger, not hung on it, as that you would cause my sweaters to appear to have padded shoulders. I love the meticulous care given my clothes by Executive Image. In my estimation, it is the Number One Cleaners in all of Los Angeles. read more

Clothes and style are important here in LA and I need someone that will handle my wardrobe with care. They did an excellent job the first two time and an even better job on the third time!! What happened was I went out of town for a week. I figured I will pick up my clothes as soon as I get back. I end up staying out for 4 weeks! A month! Now I left some really important pieces back there so I was a little nervous. No worries!! They had my clothes as good as new and they didn't charge my a dime extra! I have my 6 sports jacket and coats ready in a week (since it is not in rush) and I was impressed by their quality services: the lady and gentle men worked in the store really tried their best to make the garments brand new again. Very poor customer service, brash and rude tone, not helpful or warm with welcoming me as a first time customer. He asked me to count my shirts up, which I thought was strange but I did anyhow. He then counted them after I counted because he didn't trust my count....I was in a pinch to get my things cleaned so I stayed, but I will surely not be back. Also expensive! Moved to Downtown and needed a new cleaner. Thought I'd try the one across the street for convenience. HORRIBLE MISTAKE -- LOW QUALITY CLEANERS -- RUINED CLOTHING I brought in a dress shirt worth $200.00 which stated "dry clean only" and I've always dry cleaned it at other cleaners. The owner stated multiple times that this did not need dry clean, "laundry is fine, don't waste your money, trust me". Given that she is the "expert" I trusted her. They had to laundry the shirt 3 times to get the stains out. When I received the shirt back, the shirt was stretched and was not wearable (Not clean cut). Even if I brought it to a tailor, there would be so much work needed and they could not bring it back to its original form. When I told this to the owner and her son, they were extremely defensive, the son stated that "you listened to us and it's your fault". I was shocked - What kind of service is this? I should have written a review a year ago when I first had an issue with this place. I dropped off a couple shirts for a friend of mine, and had them put it under his name "Joe." However, when he went in to pick them up, they couldn't find his shirt. I had to go in to figure out what happened and not only were they extremely rude to me and my friend, but they had put it under the name of the card I used to pre-pay. Once they realized their mistake they didn't so much as apologize for their rudeness or lack of professionalism. Secondly, I went in again about a week ago to have my shirt dry-cleaned. When I showed the older woman the stains she looks at me and shakes her head, as if it's not their job to remove them. She shook her head and told me it had to be dry cleaned off-site. DUH LADY!! I was also picking up another shirt I had just paid for, I was on my way to work so I had to wear the shirt out, I removed the plastic and paper from the shirt, IN FRONT OF THE WOMAN WORKING, and some greasy looking guy comes from the back and scolds me because he could have recycled the material which the woman had just thrown away. Not realizing I didn't destroy the material, I had only removed it. All in all, these people are apparently lazy, and don't enjoy making money. I almost had to beg the woman to have my shirt cleaned and she was trying to talk me out of it. So I took my shirt and left. Very lazy, rude, grimy people behind this "business." If you have formal gowns that need to be cleaned, do not bring it here. They held on to my dress for over a month and had not cleaned it. When I came by to pick up the dress it was still soiled. The owner advised the dress says spot clean only and that she could not get it out. When I looked at the dress, there is no indication that anyone attempted to clean it. When I reviewed the tag, it says you can dry clean. When I called the facility back, I spoke with the son and asked if the reason why they cant dry clean the dress is because they only do mass dry cleaning on their offsite, he started screaming along with his mother. I asked why he is upset that it is a question. If they could not handle the gown, they should have said so when I dropped off the dress. I got no phone call to even advise me that there was an issue. The son advises he would only touch the dress if i I signed a release. Why wasn't this told to me when I dropped off the dress? I have had formal gowns dry cleaned before and I've never had to sign a release. To me that was a sign that he does not have the experience to clean these types of gowns. read more

I am an agreement with several of the other reviewers in regards to the lack of good customer service at his location. I went to pick up an order recently to be told that part of it was going to be late. When I asked if there a discount for items being late the lady who runs the place literally gave me a look like "in your dreams!". I then asked how much the item that was going to be late costs, and she again gave me a dirty look and didn't even answer the question. After seeing I was visibly pissed off, her son (I'm assuming) whispered to me that he would give me a discount next time to make up for the late item. I'm assuming he whispered it so his mother/boss didn't hear, if that tells you anything. Anyways, after waiting 10 minutes for her to get my items together that were on time and watching her demeanor, I made the decision to not bring any of my future business to this place. The prices are fairly high compared to most surrounding cleaners, which I didn't mind, but the customer service sucks and I suggest you avoid them. No discount for late items? That's ok.
