Ok, I am officially unimpressed. Booked this service two weeks ago to take one of my moms friends to BWI. They were 20 min late. I called to file a complaint, and although they took a few days to respond, they gave me a full refund. I appreciated that. I booked them again this morning for a 4:35am airport pickup. While I was getting ready, my daughter told me that my phone rang. I called the number back but got an after hours message. They left a voicemail informing me the driver had a flat and that no one else was in the area. They also mentioned a refund (um I would hope so). I understand that some things can't be prevented, but I won't be trying them again. Luckily I was able to quickly secure an Uber! read more

Flew out of BWI but stayed in Crystal City, Arlington VA. Too tired to fight rush hour metro traffic. It was so nice to be pampered. Car was on time. Driver was courteous, helpful, quiet until we addressed him and then interacted with us as we spoke to him. So worth the cost!! Just caught a ride to BWI this morning. The driver was great. He was friendly and very helpful with getting into the car. He even provided water and mints in the back seat. My problem is with the car itself. I knew the limo had arrived, not because of the text message that is usually sent, but because the car was so noisy I had to look out my window to see what was making such an awful noise. I recognized who the driver was because this wasn't the first time we had been picked up in the same car, loud enough to wake my neighbors. This same car had picked me up over 3 months ago, making the same noise. Is there any require maintenance done on these cars? I'm starting to notice a trend. It seems the last few times we have been picked up in either a car that seems to be in need of repair or a car that really should not be considered a limo. When I first started using ExecuCar, the vehicles were in good shape and I could count on being picked up by a car that passed for a limo instead of a big, black car. Right now, the only reason I continue to use them is because of their great drivers. It may be time for me to start looking at other services. read more

I booked a month ago for pickup at BWI. I called when the flight landed (it had been delayed-30 minutes) as directed and was told it would be an hour and half! It was 2am already! Why went the car waiting nearby? Ridiculous! I will NEVER EVER use this service and I will let everyone know that this "service" was going to leave us stranded at the airport until 330am. We booked a round trip for our Washington DC vacation from BWI. Our trip to DC was okay, but we had trouble on our return trip. We received all the automated text messages, reminding us to be outside and ready for our driver, but he didn't show. I called the contact number and was put on hold for quite awhile, when I finally got through I was informed that our "driver had declined the fare 20 minutes ago" and they "didn't have another car to send us"...um, okay. It was now 20 minutes after the driver should have arrived..wonder when they were going to let us know? We called a LyftXL instead, cost about $30.00 less, and picked us up in about 2 minutes....lesson learned. read more

Terrible service. I booked a "premium" car costing almost $80 because the cheaper options were not available to pick us up (Flight landed at 11:20 PM). The car did not arrive until 12:10 AM, and the "premium" car was actually a taxi. When I spoke with the driver before he arrived he lied about this. We ended up taking an Uber and Super shuttle charged us anyway. It is now 4 days later and I can't anyone at super shuttle to return calls or emails - they just keep saying they will open a ticket, whatever that means. read more

Day time service / pick up from home is great. This review is for the terrible nighttime / airport pick up service. Use this service only if you want to wait for late and lazy drivers. You have to always call the driver even though the service is paid for pickup in baggage claim - they are never actually there waiting for you. Calling dispatch seldom helps. We've even been assigned a driver who actually wasn't even working. Compared to other chauffeur services in other cities this one is a definite swing and miss. read more

I'd pick zero if it was possible. Came into BWI on a flight that was about 10 minutes late. Had a reservation 2 weeks before my flight as I was getting in late and didn't want to sit around. Got my bag. No car. Called dispatch who finally answered on the 4th call. Was told there were a lot of late reservations so the car would be there in 30 minutes. I said something along he lines of - "isn't that why I made a reservation?" I received a well scripted answer, which makes me think they get that question all the time. I paid for a Premium Sedan - they sent a Prius cab. Not that I really care about the type of car, but I expect to get what I pay for. Bottom line - avoid. There have to be better providers out there. read more

Unfortunately I've made the mistake of trying to use this service more than once. The initial booking was for a 7:00 am flight to BWI airport in which the car never showed. Upon contacting the customer service to inquire, I was strangely disconnected. I was forced to take the light rail and rebook my flight. The second occasion was a trip from BWI airport in which I contacted customer service two days prior to my reservation to confirm the car would be available. They assured me every was ready for my arrival. Once I collected my baggage and waited 25 mins I was greeted with a call from the customer services. They didn't have any cars available and we're sending a taxi. Upon asking for a refund I was provided a issue number and promised follow up, however, each time I call I am forced to create a new ticket. It has been a disappointing and frustrating experience on both occasions. They were ultimately able to refund my service charge and made everything right in the end. I do appreciate them making the effort to ensure I was fully refunded. read more

Go figure that the day before we leave for vacation out of the country that our car becomes temperamental! After a runaround from the car dealer stating that the car would not be ready by the time they closed for the evening, we wondered how on earth we were going to make our 8:30 a.m. flight to BWI the next day. We pretty much knew that we did not want to take the Super Shuttle, based on feedback from friends and Yelpers reviews, so ExecuCar to the rescue. ExecuCar is booked through the Super Shuttle website, but I honestly have no clue how related the companies are. We were relieved that we could choose the pickup time from our house to the airport and that it didn't have to be 4:30 a.m.! Our driver showed up right between the 15 minute window that they gave us and we were on our way in a Lincoln Town Car. Coming back from the airport, the driver (this time in an SUV) picked us up right outside of the international terminal and had our name on the window. Both drivers were very nice and professional. The driver who picked us up from the airport, even offered to stop on the way back to our house so we could run into McDonalds and grab a quick dinner to take home, since we hadn't eaten in about 9 hours at that point. Nicest driver ever (I wish I could remember his name)! I definitely recommend ExecuCar and it's well worth the extra $20 or so per person than you would pay for Super Shuttle - no unnecessary stopping for others; just a straight shot to and from the airport! Check around online too when you book, as they had a coupon for $10 off when we booked. They also do car service beyond airport shuttles, so check them out next time you want to be chauffeured around! read more

Well, today's my day to travel to my new destination across the world. A few days ago, as I was planning my departure from my house to the airport, I had to figure out how I would get to the airport, since this would be a one way flight; I needed a ride. I thought about several scenarios for how I would get to the airport two hours early for a 7:30 am departure. I could have my sister stay the night to take me, ask my girlfriend to pick me, have my son drop me off. I thought and I thought, 4:30 am is too early to ask anyone to be at my house, nobody in their right mind wants to get up that early, and as far as my son, dropping me off would be way too emotional for him. I'd be too concerned about him getting into an accident. So I decided to go with paying for a shuttle! I paid only $26 for a one-way shared pickup to the airport from my house. I received several text messages from the company regarding the shuttles ETA. The shuttle arrived at my house exactly as scheduled; 4:50 am. Because it was a shared ride, we made two other pick ups. I was still at the airport by 5:40 am which allowed me an entire hour to buy two more suitcases, reshuffle my items and play match the scale for acceptable weight restrictions...$$$$ay yay ya!!! read more

Avoid at all cost! I booked a roundtrip ride, when the driver was 15 minutes late I called only to be told he would not be there for another 30 minutes! I would not make my flight. As I was frantically tracking down another ride the customer service rep. hung up on me! I called back and got the same rep. and told him I wanted to cancel my entire reservation and get a refund (which he did not offer). He said of course, when I asked for a confirmation number I was told I would receive an email which never came. Big surprised no refund ever showed up and I had to dispute with my CC company. I'm a business traveler and I mostly use black car via Uber. On three occasions Uber failed me and I was heading home from BWI. I found that this car service with tip saved me $19. I prefer back car for business and personal travel because drivers are most professional. I found that to additionally be the case with this car service. I would definitely use them again and tell my friends. It's great to have decent options. read more

I contracted with the Baltimore, MD Execucar for 2 hours of black car service to support my son's wedding. The driver disappeared after approx. 1.25 hours, leaving the bride and groom without a car to take them to the reception. I contacted the company's customer service department twice and did not get a response from them other than an automated ticket assignment. read more

We actually had a great experience with super shuttle. I paid $125 for 3 people, round trip, from Baltimore (tip: If you have a few days to spare, putting a trip in your cart and leaving WITHOUT booking will generate an email 2 days later offering a discount if you complete the booking). The wait AT the airport was a little bit tedious (about 25 mins before we departed), but we didn't have any luggage, so we probably showed up earlier than anticipated. I didn't use the mobile app, but I did receive text alerts. They were great! I had one the day before my flight reminding me of my booking number and details, one just after we landed, with a link that allowed me to check In from my phone, and one when my van was assigned. We only had one other family on our van, so we arrived at the hotel quickly. The driver was silent, but not unhelpful- just kept to himself. The trip back went smoothly. Once again I had a reminder text one day in advance. The morning of our ride I got a text that allowed me to track exactly where our van was. Using the link, I was able to see that our driver showed up early. There was only one stop after ours. We got to the airport in plenty of time. Based on our experience, we will definitely use this service again. read more

DO NOt USe Execucar!! I booked a sedan for an airport drop off tonight three days in advance. They called one hour before pick up to say no cars were available. They made no effort to help find another service. Your confirmation is basically useless. Been booking town cars for rides many years. This was absolutely the most irresponsible and undependable service I've ever had! They do not stand by their confirmations. I called Uber in a rush. That car arrived in 6 minutes and we were off for less than half the price of Execucar. read more

JUST ORDER A LYFT! I wish I could give more stars for my ride to BWI because our driver was early and just the right amount of friendly for picking us up so early in the morning. BUT the customer service involved with our return trip or lack there of was ATROCIOUS and deserves negative stars! Let me start with the fact that I'm not even the one who decided to book this and was going to arrange for family to drop us on and pick us up from our trip, but my dad had a family emergency a few days before we left and wasn't going to be able to drop us off, he was also aware that I was to be engaged on our trip and wanted to provide us with a relaxing ride home...well this was quite the opposite thanks for that execucar. So all was good when we left Hawaii and landed in San Fransisco. Then we boarded our 5 hour flight and landed at BWI to find a voicemail from 1.5 hours before our scheduled pickup to let us know that they don't have any drivers and we have to call back so they can schedule us a shuttle instead or refund us for only the ride home that we reserved and change our plans. Luckily this time we did not need to be at our expected location by a specific time or we would have been even more upset, but what is the point of reserving and paying for a car if its not going to be there when requested after getting off of a plane where I can't answer a phone!!! So I call them back as we're walking to baggage claim and ask for the shuttle instead and she says ok it will be there in 30 to 45 minutes! Excuse me, please tell me how that is an acceptable alternative when I could likely take a lyft home for cheaper immediately, but luckily family was able to pick us up and get us home before that 30 minutes had passed. I told her not to bother and that that was a completely unacceptable. We received a refund email with an apology here's 25% off a future ride code to which I responded about my disappointment. Having worked in customer service for most of my life in one way or another I think at the very least when dealing with someone who is currently on a flight and can't pick up their phone the protocol for not having a driver available should at least be scheduling the blue shuttle to be there at the time they requested and leaving them a voicemail that the blue shuttle would be there instead and they would refund a portion of their fair for the inconvenience and you should only be required to call back if this solution was a problem. Or they should pay for your alternative ride home that is more immediate. I think I provided them more than enough time from our experience in September, but I have heard nothing after that 25% off a future ride offer. And there is literally no reason I should trust them to hold up my reservation in the future so what good is 25% off when lyft and other services provide those discounts on the regular and I recommend you don't either. Don't get me wrong I know call outs happen, but the current process for dealing with them is completely unacceptable and needs to be reevaluated. read more

I highly recommend NOT using this service. I had booked and paid for a trip in Jan but did to weather it was canceled. I called then and emailed them that I would not need their services 18 hours in advance and never heard anything until they notified me in mid March that they would refund. Since then I've had 2 more conversations with the gentleman there and he was polite and said he would get my refund to me asap. I still have not gotten the refund and tried to call today only to get a full voice mail!!!! read more

Booked a pick up form my house to the airport with a return trip form the airport to my home with ExecuCar (Super shuttle). The purpose was for a week long vacation (Alaskan Cruise) for my wife and I. The pick up driver was great he was on time and had a great personality (no complaints). The driver camp back to us to sign a receipt and mentioned something about not being able to close the ticket but that really meant nothing to me so i signed the receipt and moved on. My problem is with the pick up. We were scheduled to be picked up at 12:04 AM with a meet and greet; meaning someone was supposed to meet us at baggage claim identify themselves bearing a sign containing our last name. Upon our arrival no one was there. No call no explanation. Equally frustrating there was no one to call to request assistance. Their booth was not where it was listed to be and the receipt does not contain a phone number just a web contact. So we were just left stranded in the middle of the night. Its now 6:38 PM the following day (Saturday) and I have not heard a word or received an email response from ExecuCar or their parent company Super Shuttle. I would not recommend this service. read more

We booked a 5am pickup for an airport transport through Super Shuttle a few days in advance. The transport was arranged through ExecuCar. At 5:05am, there was no car at our house. We had to download the ExecuCar app just to check on the status and get a phone number for the driver. We called the driver and obviously woke him up. He said he would be there in 15 minutes, but we could see he was coming from a driving distance closer to 30 minutes. We checked Lyft, which estimated a pick up for 12 minutes, so we ordered the Lyft. We then called the ExecuCar driver to cancel. On the plus side, we were very promptly refunded the full amount. read more

I don't know how Execucar opperates in other cities but the people/dispatch in Baltimore is HORRIBLE. Booked a roundtrip ride ($100 each way) private ride for my husband two days prior to travel date via the SuperShuttle website. The car was supposed to pick him up at 5pm for an 8pm flight time. At 5:20 I called reservation's 1800# asking where the driver was. I was put on hold while the agent contacted dispatch. While on hold...Dispatch called my husband's cell number I provided on the reservation. They said "we have been working on this all day...we can't find a driver for you....." So they had been "working on this all day".....but waited until 30 minutes after the pickup time (and after reservations agent called them) to call and let us know there was a problem?? It gets better...... The lady dispatcher offered to call us a taxi but we would have to pay an additional $100 to ExecuCar..... Were they kidding?????? They weren't..... We were scrambling at the very last minute to try and find a ride to the airport. I will NEVER use this company again. They have no problem stranding people and leaving them to fend for themselves. read more

After being placed on hold i was told by dispatch the car was on the way 20 minutes after my reservation. No thanks - boss was already late. Very unhappy with Execucar by Super Shittle's service. Upon arrival at BWI we had a message on my cell phone that they had no driver to pick us up! This is especially unacceptable as we made reservations in advance and they didn't give us any advance notice. When I asked why, their response was they only book the drivers two hours in advance (even if reservations are made well in advance and paid for, too!) They couldn't find a driver for us! Instead we took a cab...about the same price (about 5-10 more) and they were happy to take us! The only reason this earns a star at all was they did leave a message (albeit late) and did refund our money, but won't ever use them again as they have zero reliability. read more

Horrible service. Flying into BWI I booked a luxury car with meet and greet. After already waiting 30 minutes I get a text, not a call, that I will have to meet my Prius curbside. No apology no compensation. I called the dispatch and they said this is what they had. Again no remedy, no compensation. The first driver sent for me had me walking up and down the sidewalk of the airport, would not tell me his name over the phone or the license plate number of the car he was driving even after I told him that I was asking to ensure personal safety. He was rude and asked if we wanted a ride or not because he didn't care. I called customer service and another car came for us, the driver was very professional and courteous. However, we were charged for a premium sedan and we were ultimately picked up in a dirty white Toyota Prius which is not a premium sedan. I expected a price adjustment which has not happened and when I called I was told that they don't have the ability to adjust the cost for the Prius. Therefore I cancelled my return reservation because I refuse to pay premium prices for the possibility of an economy ride. I suggest they be transparent and upfront with customers. The website I was directed to, to report my billing concern was SUPER SHUTTLE! This explains a lot. I suggest everyone to use Uber or Lyft. You will not receive a premium experience using ExecuCar because it's just Super Shuttle and the service is extremely sketchy. Nothing Executive or Premium about it. read more

Absolutely unacceptable service. Was told a driver would be there to pick me up at 5:04am. There was nobody there to pick me up nor was there anybody at the desk. I called. First they couldn't find my reservation. Then they told me it was a shortage of cars (so what's the point of the reservation?). Then the driver called to tell me there was traffic. Duh there's traffic. It's DC on a Monday morning. Either don't make promises you can't keep or make sure your drivers aren't overbooked. Finally was picked up at 5:35am--long enough to miss my mother before a surgery, the whole point of making a reservation. read more

I used ExecuCar Service to get home from BWI. This was my first experience with them. My flight was about 15 minutes late arriving and my driver was accommodating and very helpful with my bags at the airport and once I got home. The car was clean and my driver was excellent. HIS customer service was top notch. My rating is no reflection on the driver. He gets a 5! The problem I have with ExecuCar is the customer service on the 1800 number. Once I got settled, I realized I had left my phone in the car. I immediately called and spoke with someone who was NO HELP at all. She called the dispatcher in Baltimore and returned to the phone and said, you have to call back at 9:00 am. It was around 3:00 am at the time. I was not comfortable with her response. I couldn't sleep worrying about my phone. I even called the phone to make sure it was on. I called back at 6:30 am and the another operator transferred me to Baltimore dispatch. The dispatcher said, "oh you called earlier and we don't have your phone." So I asked if she could contact the driver and ask him to check the car. She told me to hold on and she HUNG UP the phone. At this point I'm boiling. I called the 1800 number again and I get a nice operator who finally took my phone number to call me back. She then called and spoke to the same dispatcher who told her they didn't have the phone and they will call me IF he finds the phone. The dispatcher didn't have a number for me at this point. I had to make sure the operator had it. They operator called her back and gave her my number. I am not feeling real confident that she will call me back. I am frustrated and I have a problem with the fact that the dispatcher was rude, dismissive, and useless. I understand the driver works the late shift, but at least assure your customers that you will leave a message on the driver's phone and have someone call me back as soon as possible. ExecuCar might need to retrain this particular dispatcher. I will not be using them again if I can't get some resolution. I have the names of the people I spoke to if ExecuCar is interested. I didn't want to publish the dispatcher and the operators names. But I would like to get some feed back from someone in charge. Hopefully I'll get my phone back as well. YAY! Robin in dispatch was able to contact the driver and he has my phone. It only took 11 hours to finally find 2 capable people to help me find the driver. He called and will bringing the phone to me sometime today. Oh and I did get a supervisor to handle the dispatcher who hung up on me. read more

The driver was very polite and careful with helping load luggage. He was a careful driver and helped the group to feel safe in traveling. I would definitely use Super Shuttle again if/when I need transportation from the airport. They were prompt and it was very easy to book and pay online. I also appreciated the text updates to remind me when to expect the driver for pick up and a record of which van I was assigned. I even received a welcome greeting as soon as my plane landed that reminded me where I could find the Super Shuttle counter within the airport. read more

We had booked them for a pickup and the operator who we booked this through put the wrong date in, so we were sitting there waiting for our pickup called them after 15 minutes and had to take our car to airport since we would of missed our flight. completely unproffesional and incapable people who work there almost cost us to miss our flight. avoid them like the plague read more

Terrible experience!! Our car never showed up at the airport, and I found out they were never going to tell me that it was never going to show up. I had already paid on-line though... so they were just going to take my money and leave me at the airport! If you're interested in a more detailed account of how ExecuCar failed miserably and how I made them fix it, here it is: I used the ExecuCar website to reserve a private car through their ExecuCar Sedan Service. To do this, they needed my flight number, my flight arrival time, the address of my destination, and all of my contact information (including my cell phone number). I also had to pay in full online, and my card was charged that day. I printed out my confirmation page, which provided instructions for "will call" service and the "meet and greet" service. I never had the opportunity to select one of these options during my reservation, so I assumed I was "will call". The instructions said, upon my arrival at the airport, I was supposed to visit the ExecuCar desk at my baggage claim area, and the person there would call ExecuCar to let them know I was ready. No one was at the desk when I got to baggage claim (it was just after midnight... but they already knew I'd be arriving then). There was no car outside. I called the number on my confirmation page, and they said a car has not been assigned to me. What?! They said there was no car coming. I explained how I paid, had a reservation, etc, and the guy finally told me the car that was supposed to pick me up had broken down. I asked if they were going to send a different car, and if they were ever going to call me to let me know that no car was coming..... and he said no... no car was coming anymore and they weren't going to call he guessed. I was a little speechless.... so apparently nothing was going to happen unless I called them! I said I still need transportation to my hotel, and I'd prefer not to wait until morning. They had me walk to a different section of the airport, see a SuperShuttle guy, and they had a SuperShuttle van take us to the hotel. It was not a sedan, but it was still private and went straight from the airport to the hotel. Ugh. Use a different service... ExecuCar is terrible. ***UPDATE: After the owner comment I received below, a Customer Service Case was filed by them on my behalf. After about two weeks, I received a response apologizing for my experience, a promise that they'd look into the causes of the problem and find a way to prevent them from happening in the future, and a full refund. I think this response is great, but it does not change my star rating. Being stranded at the airport at midnight = being stranded at the airport at midnight, no matter how many refunds you get. This response does, however, change the fact that I will now consider trying them again in the future. Only next time I will be constantly calling them to confirm my reservation. read more

Cancelled my reservation in less than an hour prior to pick-up in the early morning of October 1, 2019. SuperShuttle requires 2 hours advance notice from its customers but its arrangement with ExecuCar allows ExecuCar to cancel a reservation with less than an hour prior to pick-up. Called SuperShuttle to cancel my entire roundtrip transaction between 7:30 - 8:15 a.m. on October 1, 2019 and left a message for the cancellation yet ExecuCar shows up in the evening for the return trip to BWI. I rented a car that morning and had already returned to BWI when EXECUCAR showed up in the evening. ExecuCar got paid by SuperShuttle and SuperShuttle charged my credit card for the transaction. WHAT A FRAUD! DO NOT USE EXECUCAR! THEY DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH DIGNITY NOR CONSISTENT WITH THEIR SERVICE POLICY NOR THE SUPERSHUTTLE SERVICE POLICY. read more

Well we were just called as we landed and said the driver had "car problems" and couldn't get us at the airport because apparently they have only one driver for their "execucars" wow- never again! What a complete failure as a company- they have one job- to transport their customers- they couldn't do that - big failure. read more
