When we asked for face mask use while Covid was still an issue, there was no problem. Heavy luggage was handled without comment. I usually ask for the price ahead of the trip. Finally the driver moved the cab. As we made our way around the cab, my husband shook his head. The cab driver then yelled at us and proceeded to make rude gestures at us. We were only trying to exit a store via the crosswalk he was blocking with his cab. The cab driver's rude and unprofessional behavior was evident. I repeatedly went through the process of setting up the ride, and the app kept saying the ride setup failed and to try again later. I then notice that an Uber Driver had shown up at my son's house for a pickup. Additionally, the price of the ride appeared to have gone up by a considerable amount. The company apparently has undergone a huge price increase for its ride service. I will not be using this service anymore. So sad!

Wow I used to be an uber regular but will NEVER USE UBER AGAIN based on a recent incident…read more I received an email saying that I had a free $30 ride with Uber for referring a friend. I couldn't see this on my account so I emailed the Uber manager (Stephanie Felix) to make sure that I had the credit. She indeed verified the credit, twice. I took a ride and...what do you know my credit card was charged in full! I contacted Uber management to remedy this but they would not acknowledge the mistake, claiming that they thought I asked if I had had credit in the past. CLEARLY THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Stay away from uber. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I am sticking with Lyft!
