My F-Type R here for an oil service
Jon Y.

So I've been searching for a trustworthy indy shop to work on my Jag for a while now. Dealerships around here scare the sh!t out of me based on the experiences I've had over the years. A recommendation from a fellow Jag owner and many glowing reviews here on Yelp led me to EBE. Folks were spot on about Nick. He runs a wonderful business here, is amazing to work with, doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need yet and is an ultra cool dude as well. Nick and his team knocked out my oil service by the promised time and even went through all their extra (and much appreciated) checks on my car. Nick, thank you again and you've absolutely earned my business for all my future Jaguar needs. See you again soon!

Unique I.

So it was that time to get brakes on my Jaguar F-Pace. This is the first time I owned a Jaguar, and first time ever having to get both front and rear brakes done. My first thought was to simply take it to the dealership however after getting the price quote, I knew I had to find another place and I am so thankful I found Exclusive British European! Not only was it more cost effective, but they are super friendly and can tell they care about their customers. You're not just another client here. My car was ready the same-day and they even took a look at the car as a whole without trying to sell you on anything you may or may not need. Let's skip 3 months later, and it was time for my 80K service. Of course now my first thought is to call Exclusive British European :) They were able to get me in as early as the following day if I wanted and I got the same great service from them. If you want your car taken care of, at a reasonable price, and to be treated valuably, look no further, Exclusive British European is the right place!

Smiley face after a great repair experience at EBE

We were referred to Campbell Motor Center, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. On a Thursday evening, we spoke with Anthony, who went out of his way to get us scheduled for the very next morning. That alone was impressive, considering the dealership couldn't get us in anytime soon. By Friday, the car was in, serviced, and completely finished within about four hours. The pricing was about one-third of what Mercedes-Benz of Stevens Creek quoted us, without sacrificing quality or professionalism. What really stood out was the level of service. Anthony handled everything personally, from communication to updates. Every question we had was answered clearly, and we always knew what was going on with the car. No pressure, no upselling, just honest and efficient service. With over 30 years of experience in customer service and running a business myself, I don't give this kind of feedback lightly. This is an A++ operation. Going forward, every vehicle we own outside of dealership warranty will be serviced here. Highly recommend. Frank Saunders

I bring all my cars here for regular maintenance like oil changes, brake fluids, differential fluid and coolant fluids maintenance, brake pad and rotor replacements. They've also handled bigger repairs such as an axle seal leak, valve cover gasket leak, and fixing warped rotors. Everything has always been done right the first time. What really sets this place apart is that Anthony does most of the work himself, and after the job is done, you hear directly from him about what was done and why. He's very polite and easy to talk to, and you never feel like you're being ripped off. The quality is as good as--or better than--the dealership, using original Toyota parts, but without dealership prices. No middleman, no customer service rep--just straight answers from the person actually working on your car. He also documents major repairs with before-and-after photos and will even check in a day or two later to make sure everything's driving well. Most importantly, they're honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I've never had an issue in the 10+ years I've been coming here. If you're looking for a shop you can actually trust, I highly recommend TLS Auto Service.

We had to take our Prius in for a smog check (why though, it's a Prius!) and I called in to to make an appointment, which was easy to do. When we arrived, they told us where to position our car, asked for the DMV paperwork, and quickly went about performing the smog check. They performed it quickly, did it for a transparent fixed price (some places charge more for certain cars, including Prius's, which seems strange), and got us on our away quickly. The price was reasonable too - about $60 all in. They pointed us to some chairs where we could sit and wait while they did the test - nothing fancy, but it's good to have an option to sit. For whatever reason, smog checks are something I kind of dread, even though it's always painless. Having a local place that can do this quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price is always worth calling out.

This place had a different name before the pandemic (maybe longer ago). I went there one time when…read moreit had that name that included the word "Toyota" in it. I brought my car there for some kind of service, I don't remember what. I didn't go back there because of the prices. Years later, I found a mechanic that I like, but that mechanic is 7 miles from me, so I had been going to different places for oil changes and going to the mechanic for repairs. Long story short, my oil change light came on and I wasn't able to go to my regular oil change place due to an unscheduled closure. I pulled over and looked at reviews. This shop's sister shop had a five-star review and was pretty close to where I was. They had no available appointments, but the manager directed me to this one, which I was able to get an appointment the next day. The clerk told me the oil change also included an inspection. About an hour later, I get a text wanting approval for another $2,200. I knew that my mechanic would charge just over half for the brakes alone, so I declined the other services. That's where it got crazy. I pick my car, and the check engine light and two other lights were on. They hadn't been on when I dropped off the car. When I called it in, the mechanic (or clerk, I'm not sure which) kept repeating "You declined additional services." Now, I'm old enough and competent enough to have changed my oil and even replaced the spark plugs and cables on cars back in the day, so I knew there was absolutely no reason at all that an oil change would cause the check engine light to go on. Essentially, they introduced a problem that didn't exist when I brought it in. So, I called my mechanic and asked whether there might be a reason for the light to have been triggered. He said that it could be triggered if the hoses are not reconnected when they inspect the air filters. That, in fact, was the problem. This leaves me with two possible outcomes, neither of which is good: either they deliberately left the hoses disconnected so that I'd panic and buy the other services or they were careless. I made an appointment with my mechanic, who looked over Stress Free's estimate and then inspected my car. His initial comment was "These guys are expensive as hell," and pointed out one place where Stress Free was going to charge me for labour for a service that would have been part of another of the services. Long story short, I'm having the repair done by my mechanic for less than $1,000.
