Found these guys online. And I'm glad I did! They were great! Bought a used f-150 couple months back. 130k mi. Had a complete tune up done by another shop. After picking up, noticed RPM hunting. Also dying/stalling at stops. Check engine light came on. Took back to other shop, got codes. This was something they didn't want to get into. That's what sent me on the hunt for a shop. Campbell Ford is who I found. Called them, explained the issues. They explained that it could be a few different things. But not sure. Told me to bring the truck in and they'll check it out. Long story short. They found the issue. Repaired it. Truck running great again! (The issue had nothing to do the with the other shops work. Just a coincidence) But for now on, my Ford only goes here! I've been taking my car to Bob since I started college, from a 96 mustang, 96 crown Victoria, etc to a 01 f150. The best Ford shop because they own up to all their work and always advise on what is worth doing now and what can be done later. Most shops give a scare and say everything needs to be done but Bob really gives his opinion on priority. They had no intention of responding to let me know that they do not work on big trucks (250/350) because of their lift size. Fair enough. Nor do they work on diesel. They referred me to the dealer. I wish they put that on their website. I gave them 3 stars for answering their phone since a lot of businesses don't even do that these days. This is an overdue review - Bob and his business have been friendly, prompt, and above-board for regular and special care for our 2013 Escape. The only time I chose to take the car elsewhere was not a light decision (transmission issue), and was not due to any concerns with Bob or his workers' abilities. Rather, it was because of the dealers I also called for quotes/availability, only one happened to have a sooner convenient weekend slot open _and_ called back a couple times, lowering their quote each time for a better deal - which ended up being pretty much what Bob gave as his initial quote. Also: the dealer gave the phone call that decided it for us minutes after I gave Bob the okay to start the ordering process. So afterwards, I had to call Bob back and cancel. He was absolutely as professional as one could be, and has continued to be friendly and polite when we bring the car in for maintenance. Absolutely solid business. read more
