Found these guys online. And I'm glad I did! They were great! Bought a used f-150 couple months back. 130k mi. Had a complete tune up done by another shop. After picking up, noticed RPM hunting. Also dying/stalling at stops. Check engine light came on. Took back to other shop, got codes. This was something they didn't want to get into. That's what sent me on the hunt for a shop. Campbell Ford is who I found. Called them, explained the issues. They explained that it could be a few different things. But not sure. Told me to bring the truck in and they'll check it out. Long story short. They found the issue. Repaired it. Truck running great again! (The issue had nothing to do the with the other shops work. Just a coincidence) But for now on, my Ford only goes here! Great service Great value Great customer service! Thank you Campbell Ford Performance! read more

There are literally hundreds of auto repair shops in the South Bay. Any and all of them who work specifically on FORD products ( including dealer service departments) can ALL TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND GO HOME. This little shop in Campbell has them all beat with one hand tied behind their backs. I have been in here on 2 occasions with my 2019 F150. Welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely accommodating my last minute drive ups just before closing. The honesty, the attitudes, and the best customer service I've had in years, make this shop the # 1 place if you have any issues with your Ford. Bob and his staff are the best around. read more

I've been taking my car to Bob since I started college, from a 96 mustang, 96 crown Victoria, etc to a 01 f150. The best Ford shop because they own up to all their work and always advise on what is worth doing now and what can be done later. Most shops give a scare and say everything needs to be done but Bob really gives his opinion on priority. I've had work done from ac work, to taking the top end off an engine and the service has always been done right and by the book. Pricing is fair and definitely not gouging. read more

My Husband got in touch with Bob who we later learned is the owner and discussed what issues we were having with our 2020 Ford Expedition. He thoroughly reviewed the potential issues and detailed out what they'd perform while diagnosing the issue. Bob was transparent and called a few times just to keep us in the loop and gave us an opportunity to continue with service or stop. Bobs transparency, demeanor and customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend his shop. read more

If you're looking for a shop to work on your classic Ford, this is it. I have brought my '94 F150 4x4 here a couple of times for maintenance and repairs. I went to Campbell Performance Ford with my son's VERY old beat up Explorer that was having issues with the factory alarm and a check engine light. They diagnosed the issues quickly then clearly presented me with options. All of the issues were resolved within 2 days and for a reasonable fee. These folks will get my business again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

Campbell Ford was recommended to me a few years ago by a friend. Knowing how particular she always was I decided to give them a try. Have never regretted it. I have an old Mercury Tracer and Bob knew all about the car. They have always been able to help me out and at reasonable prices. Competent mechanics and honest to boot. I highly recommend them. read more

Reached out to Campbell Ford Performance via Yelp and received an immediate response from Bob who was very supportive in servicing my 2014 Ford Mustang GT500. I purchased this vehicle pre-owned and was unaware of any pre-existing maintenance done and as a result, took my car in for a 60k service. To add, Bob and his team performed a full inspection and gave me a thorough rundown of everything that was done to my car. This is a very unique car which required non-standard parts but luckily this shop had everything stocked and so the car was completed all within the same day without any delays. I will be taking my car into this shop from here on out for future maintenance. Thanks Bob & team! read more

Some time back I reviewed Campbell Ford Performance on Yelp and gave them 5 stars. Today again they've earned another 5 stars. I took my 2000 Ford Ranger to a nationally known tire company and purchased new tires. They sent me away with $3,000 worth of repair recommendations, probably more than the truck is worth. Today I took my truck to Bob at Campbell Ford Performance, where I've been going for over 20 years. He examined all the recommendations and concluded NOT ONE was necessary. The tire company was engaged in a major up-sell. As always, Bob is honest, super knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. read more

I sent an online appt request and heard nothing. So, after waiting a few days, I called. They had no intention of responding to let me know that they do not work on big trucks (250/350) because of their lift size. Fair enough. Nor do they work on diesel. They referred me to the dealer. I wish they put that on their website. I gave them 3 stars for answering their phone since a lot of businesses don't even do that these days. The guy who answered was polite but rushed me off the phone and wouldn't give estimate for vehicle that they do work on. ‍ Maybe they're better once you've established a relationship with them but sadly I'll never know. read more

Campbell Ford Performance - Auto Repair Near Me - Campbell, California

Life would be better for all of us if all car repair shops operated like this one. Campbell Ford Performance has a diagnostic process that's thorough and works. And the skills and organization to do the work that's indicated. They are clear in their communications. And do what they say they are going to do. All at a fair and reasonable price. I just purchased my first ever Ford product- a 2002 Thunderbird from the first owner with 73,000 miles. The car was well maintained but at 20 years old I wanted to address any issues that affected driving and reliability. Campbell Ford Performance handled an initial cooling problem right after I bought it. A friend referred me. They did it with efficiency and no drama. So I became a customer. Along with that repair they did a complete inspection, gave me a written report and went over their recommendations. As a car guy for many years I appreciated the completeness and specifics. Since I am taking this car to leave at a second home over 500 miles away I want confidence in using it. The work recommended was performed. The results were fantastic and done on time with no surprises. How often has that happened to any of us? In summary, if you are in the greater SF Bay Area and you have a Ford product old or fairly new, these guys deserve your business. And you deserve to get great work at a fair price. read more

These guys helped me out with a F150 Hub Check Valve issue that other mechanics couldn't figure out. They seem trustworthy and fair.

Bob and his team are wonderful. They quickly diagnosed the power steering issue with my 2013 Ford Explorer and had the parts ordered to get that resolved. In the meantime, I had ordered a catalytic converter for the car from Ford with the intention of doing the work myself. However, while waiting for the steering rack to arrive, Bob was happy to perform the cat installation for me at a reasonable price. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit to this shop and would not hesitate taking my Explorer here for any future service needs. read more

Took my ford explore in for a water pump on 6-3 and couldn't be more pleased with the service there! Bob was very helpful and very honest with his explanation about my car. Price was very reasonable. He said it will take 2 to 3 days to finish, took 2 1/2 days. I will differently be going back for any other service on my car. The nice thing about this place is Fords is all they do, so they know what they are doing. Thank you for the great service! read more

Awesome service. Great value. My new service provider all my fords. Thank you very much.

I go to Campbell Ford Performance for any car maintenance I need for my Ford. I bought a used car that looked good on the outside but wasn't so great on the inside, and I didn't want to cause more issues by taking it somewhere that didn't specialize in Fords. That's how I found this place. Bob is usually at the front desk, and he is super helpful. The entire staff is nice, trustworthy, and they don't mind taking the time to explain what's wrong with my car and what they had to do to get me back on the road. Every time I go here, I leave satisfied, and I know that my car is in good hands when I leave it here. No worries at all. In total, they have fixed an oil leak, fixed the rear shocks, and provided several oil changes for my Ford. Thanks for great service guys. See you all during my next service appointment. read more

Bob was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and a true honest mechanic. He treated my wife with respect and did not try to upsell. However, I will now come see Bob at Campbell Ford Performance. read more

I own a 2015 mustang ecoboost and I wanted to install an upgraded intercooler and charge pipes. I called a couple of shops to ask questions and hopefully get some advice and Bob was the only person who was willing and actually eager to help me work through my options. He asked me detailed questions about what I was looking for, how I drive my car and what upgrades I might make in the future. I sent him all the websites I have been checking out and he was fantastic in getting back to me with his thoughts about what would be the best options for me. I ordered the parts and dropped my car off and Bob and his crew installed the parts in less time than he had estimated and I was off to the races as it were. Can not say enough about Bob and Campbell Ford Performance. If you have a ford I would highly recommend you looking Bob up and giving his shop a chance at your business. Take good care! read more
