This is really the store to go to for main furnishings, not just decorative. But they do have incredible holiday/seasonal decorations. If you certainly do the heavy lifting and bring the large items home yourself but they also contract out to a third party that you can arrange for pick up and delivery too. This store has beautiful mirrors and wall art too. It's easier to find multiple pieces of things here, unlike homegoods where you'll find only one. So things like matching chairs, wall art, mirrors, lamps that you need multiples of, this is where to go.

It took over ye old Toys R Us location in Carle Place so you know the ceilings are high. For such a big place, the aisles could have been wider, especially considering they opened during the pandemic where we all need s p a c e. However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. It's definitely one of the go-to places I will check when needing homewares.

I wanted to take measurements to see if it'll fit in the house and order it As soon as I walked in, there was a male worker walking towards the door to leave. As I was asking where entertainment sofas are, he interrupted to say someone over there will help you. I repeated my question because I didn't get the whole sentence out and he said they are around the whole store. He didn't offer assistance although he turned around and did not leave the store. He started barking at other workers asking where people were and saying they were customers in the store. I walked around the store probably about 15 minutes. I stopped at the starlight couch for a good 5 to 7 minutes. No one ever approached, greeted or asked to assist. One worker was about 20 ft from me leaning on the wall. About 50 ft from that was three workers standing and just looking around. As I walked I probably saw about 8 workers in that store. Couch was poor quality anyhow I walked out. Don't want my money .........

    We ordered a storage bed from Macy's, but the sales rep entered the wrong version from the start…read morewithout us knowing and never brought it up. We were the ones who eventually caught the store's mistake when reviewing the receipt, and when we did, the rep treated it very casually. Instead of taking real accountability, we were told there was only a '50/50 chance' of fixing it and that we might need to deal with a duplicate charge, essentially holding two charges at once, until the right bed was ready. A duplicate charge for a mistake that was not ours is not a solution. It is unfair and unacceptable, and now we'll have to wait at least an additional month for the correct bed to be delivered. This was not our mistake, yet the options presented still left us facing extra charges and unnecessary stress while this Macy's location avoided taking responsibility for its negligence. The way this store handled the situation showed careless customer service. They brushed off their own mistake instead of taking it seriously or being proactive, which forced us to escalate to another employee. We trusted Macy's because of its name, but this experience proved that reputation means nothing without real customer care. I wish I had looked at the Yelp reviews beforehand because it is clear my experience is not the only one like this. If you expect accountability or reliable customer service, look to another nearby furniture store in the area. Responsibility is simply not a part of how this Macy's location operates.

    Zero stars if I could…read more We've had our leather sofa for 3 years and it started to show marks almost immediately. The sales person, Lucy, convinced us the leather material we were getting was durable and would stand up to the test of time. We also were sold on the guardsman plan who considers all the damage on every cushion regular wear and tear. If the leather gets even slightly wet it leaves a mark. Really not a smart choice for families. And feel like we were lied to. This couch is embarrassing and I'll never recommend Basset to anyone.

The furniture that we received was horrendous. The dining table that we received has over three hundred worm holes in clusters of three. That is all you see when you look at the table. Bassett refused to take it back and replace it. They told me that it was "customer perception." All of my friends and family cannot believe that a company would send this to a customer. After talking with them numerous times, the best that Bassett would do is sell me another one at what they said was cost. I agreed to this because I could not look at the brand new table that they sent me. I paid and additional $980 on top of the original $4,000. They also had the audacity to tell me that I was taking a chance that the new top could be worse than the original. How is that possible? Luckily the new top was better. The manager at this store is extremely rude and will not help you. Be aware that what you see in the store will not be what you get. I could go on about how terrible this company and their service is, but this is already too long. I do not want a response from Basset like I see with all of the other bad reviews. Unless they are giving me my money back, don't bother with their nonsense response that means nothing.
