After making an appointment I showed up five minutes early, they told me that they were 10 minutes behind so I have to wait a little bit longer, 15 minutes went by, i went back and they told me 10 more minutes... I went through this about three times. The man who did my nails was really nice, although I felt he was rushed, my cuticles on specific nails are very messy and I also had a crooked nail (which I pointed out to him but he just said it was fine.) Another problem I dealt with was he cut me!! and I was bleeding all over but he refused to clean it up or anything so I had blood everywhere and he just kept going and putting chemicals on my nails and it hurt and burned extremely bad!! and all he had to say was "whoops sorry" and continued filing. ( i'm quite disappointed in my experience and I let them know although I had pointed this out to them and they made me pay the full price) I feel very sad about this experience. read more

I rely heavily on reviews to support small businesses and sadly this nail salon is rough. They push for shellac on toes and then charge $6 to take it off. What? Also smoothing callouses is an up-charge here too. Paint job was rushed and the atmosphere was chaotic. Be prepared, this salon also only takes cash and checks. I recommend they say that when they book the appointments. Not everyone carries around that much cash anymore. My nieces paint on the toes was not good when we asked them to fix it they made us feel like we were the problem not their poor quality. read more

I took my daughter as a treat to get her nails done. The nail technician was aggressive with her by burning and cutting several of her fingers. The nails were not nice at all. Several of her nails were crooked, bumpy and had acrylic all over the side of her fingers. They told me the cost of the nails were $50. I told them it wasn't worth the price and they needed to fix them but not the same nail technician as she was so rough with her. The guy I spoke with did take the time to attempt to fix her nails but he just basically rubbed the polish off of two nails and repainted them. The bumps were still there, acrylic was still all over the side of her fingers. I paid for the nails as my daughter was already embarrassed that I spoke up about them looking bad. I just felt really sad because I paid so much money and I really wanted her to have something nice yet they looked so terrible. I did speak with the man and told him that he was ripping people off by giving poor service and a sloppy product. I paid the money and now we will be going somewhere else to fix her nails. Went in with my daughter today and I wanted a pedicure and she wanted a manicure. Their menu says $23 for basic spa pedicures and $18 for manicure. They kept trying to talk me into gel pedicure but I said I only budgeted $50 for both my daughter and myself. After that I wasn't treated very well. She cut my skin trimming my nail and they weren't filed smoothly. My daughter got done before me and told me they put gel polish on her without my permission. That was $25. I just figured her tip just got smaller. Then when I got ready to pay, they don't except debit or credit. (2019 and no way to pay with cards?) Then she said my pedicure was $28 not $23 and no explanation for why it was more. I asked, but was ignored. So I was digging through my purse for all of my emergency dollars and pennies. Found enough to pay but her tip was her overcharging us. read more

Steer clear of this place. I give one star only because I cannot give zero. My niece scheduled an appointment here for us for MANICURES/PEDICURES. I've made appointments for MANICURES/PEDICURES many times in my adult life, and never once had the confusion that we were confronted with today. They 1) wouldn't take no for an answer when asking us if we wanted shellac (we didn't want it, but finally said yes to get them to stop harassing us about it), and 2) started to glue fake nails onto our fingers when we had specifically told them that we simply wanted manicures. When I told her I didn't want the fake nails, the place erupted with Vietnamese chatter about it. Completely awkward. Cherry on top? "We only take cash or check." Not only were they 45 mins late for my appointment, the lady who did my manicure/shellac polish was extremely rough. My fingers are so sore today. The polish looks awful as well in many areas. Went to Excellent Nails today for a mani/pedi and didn't leave very satisfied. I showed up 5-10 minutes before my appt. and went to the back to pick out a color. The guy who was doing my nails was hovering over my shoulder & kept asking me,"is that the one you want"? I don't like feeling rushed, especially when I show up early. He didn't give a very good massage on either my hands or feet. Even though I called ahead to make an appt. he started rushing as soon as walk-ins started coming in. He went super fast and it shows on my nails. I could have done a better job of cleaning up my cuticles myself! I paid the full amount but left a small tip. First, they don't take credit or debit cards, which can make it awkward if you don't know ahead of time. This was was my second time there. Last time I got a full set of gel nails and a pedicure, but that was a year ago, so I'm only writing about this experience. I got a pedicure today, and I did get in pretty quickly. But I wasn't impressed with the service. The nail tech was a bit rough ( side note, same guy did my service last time and he left my fingers cut from the new file), but I kind of sucked it up. The other strange thing he did, was massage my feet and legs with an exfoliant.. Not lotion. So when he put hot towels on my legs, it felt like there were open sores( there weren't.. Just felt like it lol). OK.. Well, you get what you pay for. But what I'm most disappointed in, when I got home and actually felt my feet, they still felt like sandpaper, which is the main reason I get pedicures. Came here with 2 friends for a little girl time. The pedicure was great. My nails look great and they even painted cute flowers on my big toes. My one complaint is that they are super busy and had lots of people walking in looking for appointments that were asked to come back later. Also, the owner had the phone sitting next to him so he could schedule appointments while doing my friend's pedicure. Price was reasonable, $25. FYI, they don't accept debit or credit cards. The store is opening soon in a new location at Heritage Mall that will deliver more of an elegant spa experience. I can't wait to try the new massage pedicure chairs. The only reason I come here is because of the convenient hours. I've gotten mani and pedi here a few times now and each time is fast and sloppy. The last time I left and noticed the top coat wasn't even on evenly! I get gel polish which is supposed to last a few weeks, but every time I get it done here they always chip after a week or so. The lady who did my nails was on a personal phone call when she asked me to come over to sit, she then asked what color I wanted (while still on the phone) when I told her i wanted them to be white she said okay and proceeded. By the end she stood up and told me my price but she had done french tips on my nails unlike I asked for, I had wanted a full acrylics set painted white. She then took my nails filed the tops of them and then just painted white over the top, they look uneven, and they don't even have nail polish on the sides of the nails. overall very very disappointed and won't be going back, I hate writing mean things but this was unheard of. read more

When we first came to the place they made us wait before telling us we could only pay in cash, after going to an ATM to get cash they made us sit down and wait longer until the technicians came over to fill the tubs. The technicians ignored us and filled our tubs with cold water and proceeded to tell us that we needed to bring our own pedicure equipment. Being from out of state we didn't know it was a beautician law in Oregon. They treated us like we were stupid and were incredibly rude, despite having a hard time understanding the broken english. They charged us $2 extra to use their equipment that they didnt use and $5 extra to do callus removal which is normally part of a pedicure. All we received was it cold foot soak and Mild soap scrub with no foot massage or lotion and a terrible polish job. Our nails chipped instantly in our sandals. After the terrible pedicure the technicians left the room and ignored us for a good 15-20 minutes before coming back and demanding $30 from us it was originally only supposed to be $21. After they charged us they expected a tip and would not give us the pedicure supplies they charged us for (nail file, buffing pad, toe separators). I am extremely disappointed in the services and the behavior of the technicians I will never be coming back nor will I ever recommend it. Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. They kept pressuring me to get shellac when I repeatedly said no thank you. The pedicure itself was rushed and steps were skipped. The lady doing the pedicure could not understand what I was asking and I couldn't understand her. I finally just let her do what she wanted as far as painting and she didn't do a good job at that. So, I had never visited the establishment prior to today. A friend of mine had nice things to say about their experiences with the salon and recommended going there for my nails. I figured the prices were reasonable so I should try it. A friend and I set up an appointment for the both of us to get a regular pedicure and the rest is what followed. When my friend and I arrived (needless to say, on time), we were met with the workers offering our appointment to another couple of people. We spoke up and they stated that we were late (we were early). However, we got our appointment. That is until a minor issue established once they told us they do not accept debit or credit (which they hadn't stated before to us). We had to go visit an ATM and get charged an extra $3 to take out our funds, which I must say, was frustrating. In addition, it appeared to be a common occurrence in which they didn't inform people they didn't accept debit or credit considering another group of people had the exact same problem and needed to get cash out of the ATM, too. But I digress. Upon returning to the salon, we rushed back to our appointment and began the procedure. This is where my visit took a turn in the wrong direction. In spite of my friend having a wonderful employee work with her, I was greeted, or should I say "not greeted", with an unfriendly and rude worker named Kim. I want to address that I'm not so much an assertive individual and I treat strangers, let alone workers, with the utmost respect and politeness that I can possibly express. I was very polite with her, yet she was rude to me. When she spoke to me, she did so in a yelling and abrasive sort of manner. My complaints are not merely surrounding her attitude, but also the pedicure itself. There is much to touch on, really. For one, the water was too hot and honestly burned my skin. The paint job was fairly messy on some of the nails and my massage was, for inexplicable reasons, ten minutes less than my friend's was. Might I restate that we are both getting the exact same treatment. Unfortunately, that really isn't even the worst part about my experience here. At one point, she was trimming the skin around the nail on my big toe (which, might I add, was very painful) and she actually took a chunk out of my skin. Because of this, my toe bled all over the towel. Being the polite and pain-tolerant person I am, I didn't dare to say a word about it. This is where you would think she would say something along the lines of, "Oh no, I'm sorry!". I did not get that response. In fact, she did not respond at all. Truly! She did not say a single word or even show any sort of reaction. All she did was put pressure on it and place what I can only describe as "blue stuff" on the wound. I wasn't even told what it was, but I can honestly say it appeared to be glue. She then put nail polish OVER it and got nail polish remover on it, thus resulting in more pain. An important thing to note is that the price for a regular pedicure was $23, which I was charged for. However, my friend was charged $21 (again, we literally got the same treatment done). Furthermore, she was given the nail kit that they used for her treatment, but I wasn't offered to keep mine (which they are supposed to give to you). In conclusion, the service was overall a huge disappointment and I will not be returning to the establishment. Pictures are provided. read more
