Ordered a pair of glasses from Dr. Hedayat and her team at Excel optometry. This has been one of the smoothest and easiest transactions I've ever had when getting glasses. I didnt get my RX from here.. although after this experience I feel I should have! The opticians were helpful and very professional, they weren't pushing me to unnecessary upgrades. They focused on my needs and how I was going to use them. I actually needed progressives, and Dr. Hedayat and her team were quick to give me a couple options with the pros and cons of each. They were so efficient and they had a great selection of designer and budget friendly frames to choose from. Just picked my glasses up today, and they are amazing! This isn't my first pair of progressives, however its definitely one of the best I've EVER had. Best part is they were so reasonably priced. First off, I moved a few months back, and I needed to find an optometrist in my area. I checked trusty Yelp reviews, and decided to check out Excel Optometry. Guess what??? I wasn't disappointed. I was cheerfully greeted by Lisa, filled out forms, and waited not too long for my appointment to begin. I met Dr. H. She was amazing. From start to finish, I was very impressed. Excellent customer service. She was so knowledgeable. I brought in frames that needed new prescription lenses. I didn't have insurance, so they were very nice about that. I was so shocked at how reasonable I was charged. It's expensive everywhere, but I felt I wasn't gouged here. The office was clean and sanitized. They require that you wear a mask during your appointment. I'm fine with that. Excellent selection of frames, but again, I brought in my own. After my experience, I'm a patient for life!!! I am a VSP member and chose this location due to the VSP status and extra deals for glasses. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the level of service. The high tech machinery testing for macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts was huge benefit to me. The selection and range of frames available were also very diverse in type and price, to fit every style and budget. I have found Costco to be too generic in selection and other optometrist locations to be focused on exclusively high end frames. In the end, I treated myself to a Tiffany frame and a Dragon frame. The staff are amazing and love the Dr. she took so much time with me and explained everything. Paired with the technology to get the perfect prescription, I could not be happier. I made an appointment to get an eye exam and new glasses because it is close to our home and the positive reviews on Yelp. I don't really use glasses much but I felt I needed new ones to use at the computer especially when I am tired. This was the easiest process that I've experienced at an optometrist office. They were professional, fast, and courteous. Once the exam was done, I worked with the front office staff to find frames. In the end I wanted to keep my old frames and just replace the lenses. There were no hard pressure sales tactics to buy a new frame. The best part was that my prescription was right on. It suits my needs perfectly and I don't have any issue seeing out of them. Finally, Dr. Hedayat is very respectful. I brought my mother with me and she was very kind to an elderly woman. I encourage you to try Excel Optometry. I will return. read more

She spend a long time making sure the problems my daughter was experiencing were addressed correctly. I was on a mission to find an eye doctor closer to home, so I did a search on Yelp. After reading all the great reviews of this place, I made an appointment. I called on a Wednesday and they were able to schedule me the following Friday. I walked in and was greeted with a smile. The office is small, but very clean and you can tell they take pride in displaying their multiple choices of frames. They have everything from Tiffany to Gucci. I was impressed by the selection of sunglasses and prescription frames. Dr. Hedayat is incredibly kind and I felt very comfortable with her as soon as I sat down. She listened to me and made sure I was fit with the perfect contact lenses. She even offered a follow-up at no charge if I needed to discuss anything after my contacts come in. The office manager was extremely helpful. She placed my yearly contact lense order through my insurance for me and walked me through the available rebate process. I will definitely be making Dr. Hedayat my new Optometrist. I'm so happy I found her and the location is absolutely perfect. It's tucked between CVS and Albertson's right off Crown Valley Pkwy. The ladies helping at the front desk had a great demeanor and were helpful in assisting me and giving me information. There was not a long wait with an appointment. The optometrist Dr. Hedayat was very personable. She took time to explain to me what my options were and discussed my concerns with switching to a different prescription. We also discussed contact lenses. My husband also went to see her and she gave him lots of samples of contact lenses to try before he made a choice for which he liked best. There is a large selection of designer/fashionable frames here for both regular frames as well as sunglasses. I was impressed with the options-they also had Tiffany and Co which was nice! What I love most about Dr. Hedayat is her "bedside manner." It is top-notch. Dr. Hedayat took her time examining my eyes, discussing my vision issues, and how to best address them. Dr. Hedayat was genuinely interested in my vision (I cannot emphasize this enough) and took time to answer all of my questions. I was able to easily get an appointment. Unlike other optometry offices (Costco included) where I felt rushed in and out of the office, or where the doctor would leave me unattended for 20 minutes at a time while they saw other patients, Dr. Hedayat and her team gave me first-class treatment during my entire appointment. Other positives are that the office is super CLEAN, professional, light and bright, great parking, and has a large selection of mid-range and high-end designer frames. It is a NO-PRESSURE, friendly environment with great customer service (the office manager, Christine, was wonderful). I was encouraged to take my time and try on as many frames as I liked and there was no pressure to make a quick sale. Also, additional items (anti-reflective coating and lens options) and pricing for each were clearly communicated to me (including a breakdown of price with and without my insurance).
